Just spoken to #LFC owner John W Henry in Stadium of Light tunnel. Cards close to chest on Dalglish future cos 'it's the Liverpool Way'
On the subject of Dalglish's next contract, Henry proved slightly less forthcoming. "We are working on the future," he said. "But what is going on in that regard is private. It is something called the Liverpool way. You do these things behind closed doors. I am not going to talk about these things, but Kenny Dalglish has done very well."
He knows it is not Dalglish's fault Liverpool will struggle to finish fifth and thereby secure England's final Europa League place. "We will have to have a lot of days like today to do that," said Henry. "Tottenham are in fifth and they look very good so we will have to play extraordinarily well. But we will do our best.
"To have a shot at fifth we will have to win when Tottenham come to Anfield. But our mood is all very positive. Someone was saying that people weren't happy here last autumn, but I think people are happier now."
“What is going on in that regard is private,” Henry said. “It is something called the Liverpool Way and you do these things behind closed doors. I am not going to talk about these things. He has done very well.” Henry had a veiled dig at Dalglish’s predecessor, Roy Hodgson, when asked if there had been a change in mood since his takeover. “Absolutely, it’s all very positive,” he added. “Someone was saying that people weren’t happy here. But I think since that person left, people are happier.”
Any Italian's in here know how much Juve are likely to be splashing out this summer?
Time to bring him back up again but I'm quite hoping that they don't have the cash to keep Aquilani permanently.

André Villas-Boas would be a good choice. Young, looks very much in the Mourinho mould (having been his assistant at Porto, Chelsea and Inter) and has transformed this Porto team into a potential dark horse in Europe.
The latest reports suggest that the Agnelli family is only willing to pay for the 50 % of Juventus bill. I honestly dont know if they have the money to afford Aquilani. The thing is that there are a lot of players in Juventus on loan, their team next year is going to be very different to the current.Any Italian's in here know how much Juve are likely to be splashing out this summer?
