Liverpool Thread

Re: Liverpool Thread(King Kenny!!)

I think your underestimating how difficult it will be to break into the top 4, your a long way off Dags.

I sincerely hope you are 8 years old, because you certainly behave like an 8 year old kid. I still have to see the first post that does really make sense from you apart from gloating and provoking. On this forum there are a couple of Chelsea fans who are among the people that i like most and that i respect (Prof Nutmeg, TB fan) but you are the stereotype of the glory hunter. If (not when) Chelsea would not be a big club any more in 5 seasons, you will be as fanatic for a new team. I don't want to offend you but Chelsea don't need fans like you. If i would be a real Chelsea fan (which you aren't) i would be embarassed by all your nonsense and i would apologize for you...unfortunately i'm not a Chelsea fan (although i do like them).
No need to answer, you are on my ignore list from now on... and i can imagine that there won't be much people here actually reading your posts. Discussing on an internet forum is all about respecting other people, not offending and provoking. Have a good life.

Re: Liverpool Thread(King Kenny!!)

Where has this bellend attitude come from recently that you can only be considered honest and realistic if you think we're going nowhere and will take years to climb back up but if you think things are looking better already and will continue to improve you're just blinkered and delusional?

The new owners just spent £50m (almost £80m+ but Villa and Blackpool wouldn't sell Young and Adam) and are planning more in the summer, the team is already playing a lot better than it has all season and for the first time in 12 months or so we're going into games confident that we'll win. I for one don't think it'll take 3 years or more to get back up there. The owners are determined to get us up there as soon as possible (Henry wants the league by 2013 ffs). Have some faith ffs
I totally agree. I already love Henry.

Re: Liverpool Thread(King Kenny!!)

Have a good life.
Maybe another post could have justified such a response

But reacting like this after I simply provided a different angle of the photo PIPA posted? Take a chillpill ffs.
Won't lose any sleep over this..

Re: Liverpool Thread(King Kenny!!)

Yes I agree that me not being from Liverpool is a factor..
about not hating Torres....

I totally agree Torres has made a mess of things
by his timing and especially going to a rival club....

Whenever I see him in a Chelsea shirt....it makes me feel sick..
and it will make me really sick if he scores against us...
which is why more than ever I want us to somehow win on sunday...

BUT I just wanted to point out the hypocrisy of comments people
like Aldridge make about loyalty and money-grabbing,etc...
Our very own Andy Carroll has just dumped his boyhood club
when they needed him...and come here for more money and the prospect
of winning trophies at a bigger club......same as Torres.

Loyalty is a rare commodity (Carragher, Scholes, Neville, Giggs)

Re: Liverpool Thread(King Kenny!!)

Carroll didn't really dump his own club, Newcastle forced him out and told him he had to go as Ashley wanted the money. Carroll has since said that he never wanted to leave.

Of course, that's the player's side of things. Then there's Newcastle who are obviously saying the opposite.

Re: Liverpool Thread(King Kenny!!)

Torres is a hypocrite and forced his way out at the worst possible moment. That's why he will never be part of the Liverpool group of players that are respected.

I don't blame the guy for leaving, and in the next 3 seasons Chelsea do have a better chance to win something. There is no issue with that. And now he is already backtracking his comments about the club with football being a business. He might aswell have said, "It was all PR spiel, deal with it!"

Re: Liverpool Thread(King Kenny!!)

Not to bash Hodgson, but I remember him saying he didn't know much about Meireles when he signed and that he will need to look in training where to play him. I think Meireles is one of the few positives we can attribute to Purslow.

Re: Liverpool Thread(King Kenny!!)

It was Macia who was responsible wasn't it? Purslow was only responsible for the Cole transfer AFAIK.

Re: Liverpool Thread(King Kenny!!)

He's picked up another knock (again). He's injured so much that, as talented as he is, he's just not worth keeping on the wage bill really. Shame his fitness isn't better as I think he'd do well in a Dalglish side.

Ngog is another who hasn't featured for Dalglish yet, I believe.

Given that we could not ship out Cole or Jovanovic in the Jan window...
surely they will be gone in the summer...given FSG's wage bill philosophy.

I recall some people like Jamie Kanwar being against Cole's transfer
from the offset due to his injury record.....he was right about that.
But funny that he is nowhere to be seen now....he was supporting Hodgson
and said that if Suarez was signed he would stop watching football..

good for us...

Re Ngog..
I think he played as a sub against United in the FA cup.....if I recall.

Re: Liverpool Thread(King Kenny!!)

As Dags said, actually, it was Macia who brought Raul Meireles.
Hodgson probably didnt know who was he. And he actually admitted that he didnt know which was his position.

Poulsen - Konchesky - Brad Jones > Hodgson
Joe cole > Purslow
Meireles > Eduardo Macia

And the only good signing of those was the one made by a proffesional scout. The other transfers were pathetic and now we have to get rid of those toxic contracts.
FSG decided to bring their own and I respect that, but I think that Macia did a pretty god job.

It's called a joke mate, fucking hell.

A joke probably enough for someone to kill really. But that's probably because I'm from Asia, so that's not our usual joke.

Edit: Overeacted.

maybe you didnt get me the first time.when i said "going nowhere",i meant where we were before.a top 4 club.you talk bout the owners spending 50mill,well actually we just spent bout 8mill.everything else is just what we got for torres, babel.NOW THIS IS A BIG DIFFRENCE,CHELSEA SPENT BOUT 80MILL WITHOUT SELLING.GET IT?man city are no doubt gonna blow millions in the summer as well.then theres spurs(who just had a bid of 34-35mill knocked back for aguero)as well.of cos things are looking a million times better ever since we got rid of hodgson(which some on here were saying, have faith in hodgson as well, look how that went)we've went from a bottom three side to top seven!ive got alot of faith that we will be back on top but as torres himself said,it'll take alot of time.time he doesnt have but i will always have

Re: Liverpool Thread(King Kenny!!)

The point i was making about the £50m was how different things are under the new owners compared to the previous pair of cunts. Do you think that if we'd sold Torres for £50m last year we'd have spent the full amount the same day?

Man City can't blow millions in the summer because of the new fair play
rules, this previous window was the last chance to spend ridiculous amounts before they kick in.

Also, the point about Torres was his timing, he reckons he new he wanted to leave when Alonso and Mascherano were sold, so why not communicate this sooner? Why not mention it in December and let the club get on with negotiations with other clubs? Why wait until there's 3 days left of the window before putting in a transfer request and forcing us to sell to Chelsea as no other club has bid for him?

There's a difference between "going nowhere" and what you're now trying to say.

What??

He pretened to have a shit on a Torres shirt and you're saying that's enough to provoke a murder?? FFS :FAIL:

Re: Liverpool Thread(King Kenny!!)

I think Jovanovic is a different type of player, he's not in it for the money imo.

Apart from the last generation dying breed in Paul Scholes, Giggs Carragher etc..

he's most likely in it for the money like every player, the question is actually is he a cunt or not.

I don't know. he's probably a nice guy but these days everyone's is in it for the money!

Re: Liverpool Thread(King Kenny!!)

If this was Football Manager, the Carroll and Aquilani transfers would have been cancelled due to the players failing their medicals. :P
