Pardew has come out and said he wanted a better contract after Liverpool's offer (from 20k to 80k). I would expect it to be a bit of both, he wanted more money but wanted to stay at his boyhood club, they didn't want to pay more and wanted to pocket the cash.

He already did, in Ajax... the question is, can he play in the Premier League?
I think he can be a handful anywhere. And if Pepe Reina gets injured, Suarez would do a great replacement :LOL:

I mean this season, is he allowed to play in the Europa league? He definitely played in the CL for Ajax.

it´s true, but then again Newcastle as club are in different situation than we are.. + their owner is happy to sell regarding to the player status, especialy for that high prize...

the fans don´t like it but he now is a Liverpool player and i´m shure he will fight for the team now..

after all Newcastle could reject the bid, but then in summer there will be new rules in contracts and probably we won´t see any of this big amounts of money transfers again...

So with Suarez and Carroll I presume your going to play 4-4-2? Were does that leave Gerrard? Right Wing?

Oh now I see what you mean. Yeah, he played in the CL and Ajax finished 3rd, qualifying for the Europa League themselves. I'm guessing Liverpool can't use him then.

not shure about this to be honest...so far Kenny was playing 433 like this:

Now i think we will play still this system but he likes Maxi.. so im not shure if he moves Stevie to midfield or if he drops Kuyt for Maxi... i think if all are on top form, the lineup will not chainge , just the names..

The good thing about the way we play now is that the players aren't told to strictly stick to their position as under Hodgson and have freedom to go where they feel they themselves feel they need to go to affect the play.

So you could see the likes of Suarez start to look like he's on the left wing but turn up in the middle just as much.

i see suarez - maxi and gerrard in free role tbh.. Suarez is not the true CF and more of a wing player like Tevez.. that is if we play Maxi and Gerrard who imo won´t be stick on a wing position..

there is posibility to see this in game

-- MAXI/GERRARD/SUAREZ in one line chaingin places, making movements and provide CARROLL with crosses and assists...

and this behind them MEIRELES/POULSEN/LUCAS... Kenny played this midfield CM/DM/CM since he came..and i think it´s pretty solid so far..

i was thinking about the clames that he is more expensive than Zidane but in todays tranfer world Zidane would cost 100mil. pounds +... becouse the prizes chainged and moved up all years...and Zidane transfer is 10 years old..

To answer my earlier question - Suarez is not available for the Europa league (nor is Torres in the FA Cup, incidentally)

Since I was about 5 fella. Love them through good and bad times. Don't chop and change like some people do. I'm obviously a Cardiff fan and they come first (being my hometown club) but Liverpool have always been my big club.

My foreign team of choice is Barca. And that's not because of how they play now (but I do love the way they play obviously). Just always liked them since my uncle brought me their kit home from Spain over 25 years ago. He passed away not long before I married and in memory of him, I actually went to Barcelona on my stag weekend. Watched them play when there and the rest of the time I was pissed as a fart!

I've been to Liverpool loads of times and going up again in April although this time is for the Grand National.

nice we have this common, in Spain i like Barca and in Italy somehow Juventus, especialy old days Juve.. in germany i admire fans of Borrussia Dortmund, they are amazing!

Funnily enough, the team I like most in Italy is Juve too. A sad time but the link with Heysel is probably the reason and Rushy (the great Welshman) played for them too so had to follow him when he left Liverpool but was oh so glad when he came back!
