tbf when he was here i heard every couple of months that he'd "pulled his daughters out of school" and so must be leaving. Liverpool cab drivers talk a ridiculous amount of shit. A couple of weeks ago i was in a cab coming home from town and the cabbie was a bluenose talking about how Everton have got one of the best squads in the league etc. and he said the immortal words "i mean, i'm a season ticket holder, i get to see the quality more than most"...On his radio he was listening to live commentary from the Everton - West Brom game (which ended 4-1 to West Brom). He must have forgotten his ticket :LOL:

I didn`t mean it in that way, I just was in shocked at the table I actually thought they were doing better. I know Rafa is force to play young players no pun intended :COAT:

You want Rafa back ? If hodgson had Liverpool in the top 3 it wud be different no doubt.

Yeah I do to be honest, but 'Spammy' is a Liverpool fan and he got banned too.

People get banned for posting sheer outright abuse to managers, that applies to Roy Hodgson as well. Trust me, there's a good amount of people that don't like Rafa there and they haven't been banned yet because they don't post personal abuse and can give a constructive reasoning behind their dislike.

Hodgson would be ideal for England's Coach.
But I for one don't want to see Benitez back cos' Benitez era is over.
Its like when someone dies , Benitez's Memory will live forever.
Only Liverpool's disloyal fans can put the blame on and call him an idiot.
Just put your thoughts on CL matches , Benitez gave us some of the greatest matches ever in Europe.
Even if we were relegated I would still get his back.

Of course it would be different but he didnt put us there, and we are a lot worse team with him than with Benitez, even when Benitez had to cope with a lot of injuries and the owners.

I don't know if I would have considered using Fernando had David Ngog been fit. But he isn't and, having had a chat with Fernando, I think he'll enjoy it. It's not as if he'll be playing with a bunch of also-rans. I'm not asking him to play in the reserves.-Woy Hodgson..

Anyway, after what Benitez said in this last press (and I totally agree with him) I would be surprised if they dont sack him in the next days. I know I ve critised him in the past, but if he is avaivable, we have to bring him back. I cant imagine how is going to be the atmosphere in our next match in Anfield, if Benitez is avaivable and Hodgson still our manager.

This is the second time i read something similar in this thread. What a load of nonsense is this? I'm far from a United fan but why would a United fan want Hodgson to stay? Are you sure that Hodgson is to blame for Liverpool's bad spell? Last season it was all Benitez' fault, now you want him back...

I think every new manager needs at least one season before you can judge him. Like i already said, if Man Utd hadn't won an FA Cup, Ferguson would have stayed one season with United. Can you imagine that...afterwards it turned out that this manager was the most successfull ever...More succesfull than the legendary Matt Busby.
Liverpool has now owners and money, Hodgson can do some good transfers in january and this can change it all for Liverpool. Takin Benitez back is a very, very bad idea right at this moment...i've always defended him (except for his transfers), but i don't think things will get better if he comes back.

To be critical....I was not too impressed with Benitez in the way
he attacked Inter's owners on their lack of support.

I see this as a pattern of attacking owners...although H+G were
probably deserving.....

He left Valencia with the same problem....no backing the the
transfer market...

Anyway I am not sure what is going on at Inter....but Benitez
has a mixed record....

Would I be happy if he came back ? ...For sure it would be better
than Hodgson....and we need someone who loves the club....which Rafa
does...

But will he have similar problems with Henry/Comolli.... ?

BTW, Jovanovic seems on his way out.....not too sure why....never given
a proper chance....yet Joe Cole is still there..

Hodgson is saying he wants to make the squad his own. Sounds great to me, players of the class of Poulsen and Konchesky are just what will have us challenging for the title again.

To be fair, he has fallen out with 3 three owners that werent exactly the best owners of the world. Llorente is a disgrace for Valencia, everybody hate him there, he has charged debt against the club and didnt support him in the transfer market. The same him to him with H&G and now Moratti.
About the comments he made in the press conference I think he is absolutely right. He must be tired of being the only one to blame for Inter´s current position. So he said, if you give me the control of everything and we fail, then in that case I would be the only one to blame.
