If Barry doesn't come and we don't get another midfielder, would that mean that lucas would become a regular? I think he is quite good and I wouldn't mind that

Don't think Rafa will take the risk though. Same with Insua, which is why he signed Dossena.

Villa admits Reds interest
Liverpool temptation for Spanish ace

Spanish star David Villa has hinted he would like to move to Liverpool, if he heads to England this summer.

"Liverpool and Chelsea are both big clubs with a lot of attraction," he told the News of the World.

Villa also admitted that Liverpool's Spanish coach Rafa Benitez could play a big role in attracting him as he tried to sign him earlier in his career.

"Liverpool have a Spanish coach and I also have a lot of friends there," he said.

"When Rafa was coach at Valencia and I was at Zaragoza there was contact about me joining Valencia but I couldn't arrive until the year after he left there."

Don't get your hopes to high mates ..

I mean with his performance in this competition, who knows how much he's worth now? That's why the time to buy players is BEFORE any tournament he plays in. And it's not like we have a gazilion pounds in the bank for transfer use, and to be honest, we don't really in dire need of somebody in his position.

I think Lucas is good, but Xabi Alonso and Mascherano are better...so we have three central midfield players and Lucas who is a good joker.

Would be awesome if Villa came, Fernando and Villa play very good together in spanish national team.

And I think Finnan is still better as Philipp Degen. He hadn't a sure place in Dortmund, he played less than Rukavina.

Unfortunately I'll probably be watching Turkey v Czech Rep as more is riding on that game. Hope Degen plays well if he starts though.

Bentley has came out and said he wants to leave Blackburn too. No doubt we'll lose him because Coco will fuck up again :roll:

What's the bet that if Rafa told Coco to get Bentley, he'll get a Bentley Mulsanne?

Milner's a prospect. Bentley is the finished product with room to improve. He's awesome, basically.
