Liverpool Thread

Re: Liverpool Thread

Well deserved lads, the big difference for me was the desire. You lot wanted it more than us today :TU: Also Riera is looking like a quality signing.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Good win, some VERY poor ref decisions again (for both sides) and Howard Webb just isn't fit to ref. He forgot to send Vidic off FFS!

Riera looked quality, hope that continues and it wasn't a one-off due to his debut being against a high-profile team.

Is it a coincidence we did better without Gerrard "dictating" the game for us? I think so.

Got to also say Kuyt's workrate was exceptional yet again, good on you.

Still can't believe we beat United (and deserved to at that) It's been a while!

Oh, and AFC Liverpool beat Oldham Town 5-0 incidently, OT were previously unbeaten so 5-0 is a cracking score, and we sit proudly at the top of the league :DD

from another site:

Scientists at the LHC today announced the appearance of a new particle, known as the Berbatron, it apparently acts with great energy upon it's initial appearance, but disappears without trace after approximately 3 minutes.

In an exciting week for particle physics, experts are already comparing the discovery with the re-discovery of the "Roonatron" on Wednesday night in Zagreb. This particle was initially discovered many years ago, but after early promising results scientists lost the elusive particle for a number of years. The shock of its re-emergence on Wednesday was matched only by the shock this Saturday afternoon when the particle vanished again. Scientist Fok Man Yoo from the Chinese Reactor for Advanced Particle Physics (CRAPP) explains, "It seems that the one surviving example of this amazingly inconsistent particle has been swept into a black hole known as 'Carrasbakpoket' where it is interacting with another particle that we are calling the Tevezetic Quasimodotron. Together the particles expend huge amounts of energy but produce curiously little effect."

The experiment continues. In other news police on Merseyside are investigating a massive burglary at a whiskey refinery near the Anfield area, which occurred at around 3pm today.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Rieira, was excellent. 3 players should be awarded Man of the Match, Rieira, Kuyt and Mascherano. Damn well played.

Finally after a long long time i saw Liverpool play against United without any fear of attacking. Good win Indeed!! I did cheer up for you guys!!

P.S. Vidic should have been sent off!!

Re: Liverpool Thread

Let's see Riera next week against Stoke. He'll be motivated against United, but I'd like to see how he does against the dross.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Riera was awsome, Just what we needed, Hopefully he doesn't forget how to play and does a dirk kuyt on us (great player in Dutch football came here not the same effect) Dirk Kuyt anyway MOM performance Dirk and Robbie not giving Manchester any time YES

Re: Liverpool Thread

He was sent off. Should have been sent off for the first yellow to be honest.

Definately. What makes the decision even worse was seeing John Terry sent off! Carvalho could've gotten back, but Terry sees red, but Ferdinand could'nt have covered for Vidic.

It really pisses me off that the FA talk about respecting referee's when the refs aren't even singing from the same songsheet :brick:

They sent Terry off for being a cunt, not for any foul :-pp

Terry fully deserves it. Shit, overrated footballer, that gets his ass saved every fucking time by Carvalho.

I would have shown the twat 3 reds, and a kick in the nuts to boot.

Haha!

Re: Liverpool Thread

Just look at how Rafa reacts. As the goal is scored, he brings his arms up to celebrate, but then realizes it's not his style, checks back and looks at his watch.

Found it very funny myself.

Re: Liverpool Thread

me and my sons were rolling seeing sammy he looked like Theodore on the Chipmunks. Which my boys support pool

Seemed to be a funny mockery of Ferguson as well
