Not worried about his attitude, Rafa would never buy him if he didn't think he could sort it out.

More interested in knowing his attributes. Is he fast? Is he strong? How is he in the air?

not the faster player i know but he has pace and rather good in the air,he has a good first touch and he's decent in the air,
really a good player if he can sort out his attitude

Well he's changed an awful lot in the later stages of his career, his attitude especially.

If he has pace and decent in the air, at the very least he'll be a useful option to bring some pace, or height into the game.

Got him for 2.7M. Now he's a Spanish international, so we could fetch around 5M for him. Maybe even more. There was talk about Sevilla getting him for 10M euros.

Regarding Barry, it all depends on whether we can sell Xabi or not.

Well spanish coach and all, plus Guiza joined them aswell.

Ngog looks like a nice cheap replacement
for Crouch in terms of the option that he gives us.

As with Arbeloa we've still got Finnan and now Degen.

Maybe Darby or someone can step up later on.

Yep, Darby looks alright and I can see him playing a few games this season for us. Not sure we need another right-back though having just signed Degen and already having Finnan and Carragher who can play there if needed.

Then we still have Degen and Carragher, with Darby able to step up as a third choice. I'd rather we spent the money on a winger.

Someone needs to put some kind of sticky that's permanently shown in here so people don't quote B4L. His only "contributions" to this thread are having a go at other people and serve NO purpose.

Most (all?) of us have him on our block list so we don't have to see his nonsense, quoting him defeats the object of blocking him.

I don't have him on my ignore list but I can see why many people have. If only he could be banned from this thread then we wouldn't have people quoting him at all :calmdown:

Didnt we have another youngster at rightback? He played near the end of last season. Foreign but cant remember his name. If we cn get 5m for arby it will be good business. He's done well but isnt the best at going forward.
