cant use special hair in edit mode anymore, not there ! if you click on a player with special hair it will show only HIS special hair & you can't even change the colour of it.

no abhishek they put editables but you can't have 4 colours for each one and you can't change the layers. I don't know why they go backwards with some things last time it was the ability to mix home and away kits and now this. Also there is no real boots in the game either.

correct m8, this is a step back for the look of the game , i like the gameplay but it just looks shit.

I noticed 4:51 when you scored header with Seedorf you challenged keeper and didnt appear to be the forcefield still. ? Might just of been lucky one you get known again but just wondered if forcefield gone now. ?

Will you be making anymore. ?

yeah the header must of been a one off, but i like the fact it happened because in pes6 i wouldnt have even attempted a header vs the goalie.

i can make another one if u like but it will take a while to upload it. ill try and showoff some new gameplay features if i can...

Are free kicks any better see AI still has pretty poor failure rate at free kicks from the video i see.

i played a game of fantavision fantasia or whatever that mode is last night. i wasn't expecting much but i really enjoyed it. the camera works very well and is quite responsive. there's also an orange arrow that is under your player pointing at the opposing goal, which really helped keep your orientation as your spun around. it was lots of fun, especially being in the box on corner kicks, as the CPU sent the ball in trying to head it was fun in this mode and viewpoint.

looking forward to the english patch, which im sure one of the brilliant patchers will soon have ready.

what the hell, they put in some new features and remove others, lazy programmers, i watched the in-game video and i really think they do not have changed nothing respect to we10jl, except for those f***ing lateral steps, now hope that they are focusing on pes2008, surely i won't buy this game :twisted:

ok the graphics looks ok only from my lcdtv...i guess normal tv better
but you cant expect too much from a ps2 game anymore
maybe my expectations are higher after playing so much ps3 games
yes the ball travels slower than before but not the players
now shots saves from goalkeepers can reflects anywhere...
and teams play with more urgency when they are trailing...
even taking potshots at goal from everywhere
i noticed the jerseys are more refine now and newer designs
too bad no wide screen..so the players looks stout
i hope the next generation ones will be much improve

Exactly have you noticed they have changed the assists, because i dribbled about 25 yards with rosicky after a pass from fabregas and he got an assist unlike pes6 where the person doesn't get it even if the cpu didn't touch the ball.

I also this game. I can say that teams are from 2006-2007, but seems like they did some of the winter transfers. Even some new created players. I checked Feyenoord and they made newcomer "Wijnaldum" for example. ;)

Ok, played a few matches against a mate. IMPORTANT: This mate of mine only used two ways to score on PES6: Run through everybody with Adriano and blast through to goal, or go down the line and do the cutback.

Well, i beat him every game by a big margin, playing nice flowing football. It feels a little more free. I also felt that controlling defenders, marking forwards was a little better.

I'm used to playing on the PC, so this PS2 version seems really fast to me, shots are hard as nails.

Overall, I like it, translation from legend Fernando please... ;)

Played one game earlier on Newcastle vs Barca 5* won 6-0
Can't really feel any drastic change from PES6, but I only really got this for Fantasista.
Dunno what the hell I'm doing but I scored a cracking goal on the first macth :D Top corner curling shot from edge of the area, shame I was knackered by half time :D

Kit editor looks exactly the same as PES6 to me, dunno about boot/face stuff

The ball feels heavier than in PES6, also the speed is slower, ball rolls slow over the green, its easier to defend, but also dribbling is easy! its a good game for playing aginst Human! But ai is a Joke!!!

I dont know why they bring out something like this, same graphics, same balls, same stadiums, same turfs! only "changed" the gameplay!!! Konami go to hell! I am tired playing the same thing every year!!!

I think anyone who supports this crap and complains about EA releasing a footie game in the summer needs their head's looking at.

Gameplay is essentially identical to WE10JL, which always was ever so slightly less bad than PES6.

This would have been a good game 5 or 6 years ago. It now belongs in the software graveyard, along with all it's identical twins of recent years.

These comments always appear, from people who forget this is a game for the JAPANESE market, and YOU "shouldn't" even be playing it!

We "should" only play PES not WE.

i played 3 matches with medium teams (Fiorentina, Palermo, Roma) and i must say that this is the best w.e. for ps2 at the moment

IA is better than we10 j.league (and we10 j-league was better than pes6), better game speed, better defence

waiting for pes2008 with this one inside ps2

It's not the same, my cutbacking/Adriano dependent friend had a real hard time playing this game. Which is good. :)

Good question... I've just pressed all buttons and didn't get the ball. I think you need to be in a good position to be able to receive a pass.
Since the game is in japanese and I can only read Katakana and a little of Hiragana is quite complicated to know how exactly it works.

But its still fun to play.

In Fantasista, after that first game that seems to have the purpose of teams scouting you, I had several teams that wanted my services. I chose the best one (according to the hexagon graphic thingie), and sure enough, since the players in the team are "good" i'm not even making the bench. :(

Gonna start over and chose the shittiest team... :D

Edit: damn it, still can't make the team. Fernando, i need your brilliant work... :D

I think you can, even in the regular PES when you use that cam, I think with R2 or L2 I dont remember, you can ask for the ball, and in the video that was posted here, it looked like the person was asking for the ball because the little blue arrow on top was flashing, make sure you ask for it when a team mate has it...

It is certainly not the same as we10 or we10j, im not surprised at the people who are posting that it is... it is different in alot of ways, the core gameplay and graphics are similar buti havbe noticed the following

1)shooting is better now shots do not balloon over the goal, it seems now the meter is more for power then height
2)passing is more crisp and the game moves slower but the passes dont.. this is a good thing
3)defending is better
4)crossing is better
5)dribbling is more fluid
6)the game overall is more fluid

cant wait for a patch
