Ive got a feeling the pressure might get to Hamilton this year, last year no one expected much until the end when they did and to be fair he ended up losing the championship cause of it. Alonso's my bet to win it but you can never rule out the Ferrari :)

bmw and honda are my wildcards... everybody seems to have forgotten poor 'ol jenson...
 
Hamilton looking good and BMW looking quick too, shame for Kimmi though I can't see Alonso being happy so far off the pace... Looking forward to tomorrow, with a few of the tricks being removed this year I think we'll see a lot more incidents and drivers skill will count more... I still can't get over the massive front wings and the amount of aerodynamic crap the cars have on them..
 
I was loving the display of car control being shown in Qualifying. The lack of traction control is good on the eyes.

Shame Hamilton is on pole though, wouldn'tve minded Kubica or Kovaleinen snatching it.

Shame also for Kimi being stuck with that problem.

But at least ALOLnso is nowhere near the front, that makes me happy.
 
Had to avoid all media till I'd had chance to watch the replay, as expected a lot more happening on track now the toys are gone... looking forward to Kimi v Hamilton when they are next to each other on track... BMW still looking very quick!!

There are some new rules for 09 that tackle this DJ, not sure it's making less downforce, more a cleaner wake off the back end for following cars...

Oxford-educated Mosley has refused to condemn his father who was considered so dangerous he was interned during the war. He once said in an interview: "He was wonderful as a person. But I don't think my father would have made a good dictator. He talked tough but, fundamentally, he was too soft."

In 2005, Mosley—who has two children, Alexander, 37, and 35-year-old Patrick—was made a Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur, one of the highest decorations in France, for his services to motor sport. In the late 1970s, he became the official legal adviser to the Formula One Constructors Association (FOCA)—the body that represents the teams.

With his sharp legal mind and devotion to the sport, he soon rose to the top and was first elected president of the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) in 1993.

Speaking of his role in the FIA and his friendship with Bernie Ecclestone, he once said: "My job as president of the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile isn't paid. But I've done business with Bernie outside Formula One. In property mainly.

"Money doesn't turn me on and I like to think I can leave whenever I want."

Money doesn't have to turn him on—he's already rich. A multi-millionaire, he has a base in Monaco and a £3 million home in London's fashionable Chelsea.
Shadow

As well as inheriting from his father and mother—society beauty and Nazi sympathiser Diana Mitford—he made a fortune selling his shares in March Engineering in 1977.

But the shadow of his Nazi father is always in the background. Mosley Jnr once claimed his father—who died in 1980—disliked Hitler, thinking him "over the top", but he admitted Oswald admired Italian dictator Benito Mussolini.

He said of his mother, who died in 2003: "It was true she liked Hitler. Apparently he was an enormously attractive personality."

Now Mosley has shown his true colours too—and brought a new kind of shame on his already tarnished family name.

It was very funny saw Alonso defending from Hamilton attacks at the begining of race.
Fantastic Ferrari victory, always dominating the race, and another great exhibition of BMW Sauber.
 
TBH i think Max Mosely can do whatever he likes. Its no-one else's business and I can't see how it effects his position. Yes the Nazi thing is disturbing but seriously, people are way too sensitive about it now.

i knew fernandos renault was looking pretty good in practice but im really surprised on how he performed during Q2 and Q3... well deserved, great drive... :) difficult position though tomorrow as hes on the dirty side of the track come 1st turn... massa should take advantage :)
