Football Manager Series

I think they need to worry more about how shite the graphics are, none of the players look correct and it generally looks very poor.
Improving the general graphics and match engine should be way more important than eyes tracking.
Reminds me of years ago when FIFA put in their patch notes they updated Pogba's hair.

I love to see what modders are doing, and without them, I don't think I'd play FM.

PES and FM are the two games that I personally think need mods in order to add authenticity (including making FM more difficult/realistic).

But I have to say, I really don't care about faces personally. Unless you're playing with camera mods, when are you realistically going to see them? It's amazing work, don't get me wrong!

Again, fair play to them for sorting it and delivering some other fixes too:

However, this official response from SI to a very minor bug is pretty concerning, considering how much they've pushed Unity as the key to a better game (and how dreadful the UI experience is in comparison to the previous one):

Reddit - SI Alarming Admission

This appraisal from the above thread mirrors my concerns:

"Let's move to a new engine so we can de-spaghettify our codebase"

\*fucks up project/time management so spectacularly, just dumps spaghetti into new engine to have some sort of MVP ready to ship\*

"This tiny issue is too difficult to fix because our codebase is spaghetti. Thanks for the £45."

Honestly, at this point I'm worried about the series' future. I've damn near as little faith in FM27 as I had with FM26 ahead of its launch, and if they've *already* fucked the new codebase to the point where tiny UI changes "require multiple resources to be taken off of other more important areas", I don't really see shit improving in FM28 and beyond either.
