If they're the default logos I don't think anything can be done, they're all the same size (25x18) so there's no reason for it to make them off-centre. Unless you're using unofficial ones, or unofficial mixed in with official.
 
Yeah, make a batch file in Photoshop to make sure all of the small picture sizes are 25x18 (those are the official badge dimensions for the small logos i.e. "icons"). Make sure you do it right though, test it a few times before you use it.

Oh fuck! I did the thing joe posted to get rid of the horrible SI 3d kits, (thanks Joe, works a treat :))), but forgot to go back into preferences to untick reload on confirm and retick use skin cache! Now I'm wanting to start up FM and am sat here like a cock for 15 minutes waiting for it.
 
Do you know what, I'm loving the game, but four times in four matches I've seen goals go in because a player has just stopped dead, in the middle of his own penalty area, waiting for someone to come in and whack the ball into the net.

I love everything else about the game but obviously if this carries on there's no point in playing it, it doesn't matter what tactic you choose if a player is going to stand there like a fucking statue and let your opposition come in (from 10-15 yards away!) and slam the ball into the goal.
 
I find this game so bloody hard. My main annoyance is some of the screamers players are scoring against me.... I saw a few from like 35/40m going straight to the top corner.
 
I am top of the Championship and 4 points clear after 10 games as Bristol City.

It won't last.

finnished 5th in the EPL...

got a new 4 year contract now, i just hope some investor takes the club on and i can chalange the top 4!

I did invite him to be my assistand manager, but offcourse he turned down.

anyways, at least in this other world/dimension of my game we arent bitter anymore, liverpool ended the year beeing the bitter ones, they lost the EPL on goal diference to Arsenal and lost in the CL semi finals to Manu(who won it again) on penalties, also, on our two macthes i took 4 out of 6 points, W1x0 at goodison and D1x1 at anfield!!

well just started the new season, heres what is happening:
The board only gave me 12m euro to spend, thats stupid since i won the uefa cup, but ok since Everton doesnt have a investor, so i got Valbuena from Marseille on a bargain 4m (i hope he can play fill in my right wing, since osman and pienaar together couldnt do the job...) than i sold Saha for 2m to west brom, which was a DISGRACE in my season(30app 7goal 3ass)and i spent on Celtic's Mcdonald 12m...i think he can succed playing alongside YAkubu..if not at least i have vaughan and anichebe improving a lot... Btw, Sall was a great buy , i paied only 1.6m and he ended up beeing a great utility man, he can play really well either as a DMF or a DC...really solid player ended up with 26app and a 7.01 avr which is great imo.

oh and gerd whats up with liege board??? i offered 11m on Dante and they imediatly turned down!?!? what are they thinking? are they that hard to negotiate in real life?


oh and i didnt tell u guys how was my UEFA cup semi final...after eliminating Arsenal on the quarter finals(L1x0 and W2x0) i got Portsmouth, and i thought it would be a lot more easy... how wrong was i...
first macth at goodison i was losing 0x1 till the 93th minute, when anichebe tied the macth!
than on the 2nd leg, losing 2x1 until the 89 minute when after a confusing play inside the box neville sends it home for the draw 2x2!!!!
really an amaazing feeling...it was just like if i was wacthing the real thing happening...
i just cant get enough of this game. its ruining my social life, and the wife is already is complaining, its like crack! :LOL:

at home against teams i feel are worst than me i use 4-2-2-2

Away or against teams i think are better than me i use 442 or 4411, depends if cahill is juried or not, i usually use 442 :LOL:

About the tweaks, yeh i use them all...my macthes , only wacthing highlights takes me about 30mim cause i tweak so much...i chose to be a strick manager so i use very little creativity in all my players except arteta and cahill...that way i must give them instructions all of the time...
i must admit this is problaby the season ive been more focused in this game since when i played my 8 season savegame with juve in cm97-98, so im aways "studing" my next oponent, i do man markings, covering, try to exploit their defense in the best possible way...and this engine is so great imo that u can cleary see that in the machtes...

my tatic is pretty much what moyes do with real everton, i play an organized counter atack based football.

on my defense i use my 2 fullbacks as real defenders, they go up very little if im not losing the macth and they both have 90% defensive mentality.. this helps alot to prevent oposing wingers to destroy tour defense, specially cause i got good marking players like hibbert , neville and evan baines(i lost lescott to chelsea)

In the middle i have 2 diferent styles of wingers, the LMF is arteta, so i guve him creativity to roam the pitch, go inside, and do all the great things he can do(ended the season as my best player, 7.28 avr, 15 goals, 19 ass in 48 app) the other wing which was filled by either osman or pienaar is more of a traditional winger style, run and cross kind of player.
on my center midfield i have one CMF as very defensive, closing down aways at my own half, so he doenst go up and leave gaps, and the other CMF i give instruction to go up and be the surprize man...i also tell this guy to close down a bit further so he can aways make the first combat against the oposion...

on the attack, i have a "target man" as yakubu, and the other spot i try to make a more support attacking player, saha didnt do well, so i sold him(see spoiler in my previous post) what i do with this player is , set his mentality to only 11(the bar goes from 0 to 20)so he will position usually behind the target man...keep in mind i dont aways use target man on the team instructions...

also i think is very important to set your playmakers and target mans, evan if u dont use this in the team instructions, i read in some FM forums that when u do this u set those players as semi playmakers or semi target mans...so evan though ure not cleary using this in the team instructions, players keep that in mind when making decisions.

lastly, this is by far my best defensive performance in FM, and coencidently or not, its the first time i use "play offside", before this season, i usually would aways sit back with a deep defesne and wait..now i changed my approach, i press the oposition and keep my team close by upping my defenders and telling them to set the offsides. its a lot usefull agaisnt middle and bottom table teams.. i wouldn suggest using this against the top 4 though, as rooney , persie, kalou will destroy your defense.

I've read some of WWFans posts before, very clever person and understands the game well.

Definately worth a read.

Edit: Wow! Last year he made a few forum posts albeit very detailed. But the amount of work they've done for this years edition is amazing, might be printing that off to read on the can :D

yeh m8, its a great "bible"
i would say that in fm2008 i couldnt see all of those things cleary specially cause of the arrows had diferent function. but now its as cleary as water for me...
u can definatly change players positioning by tweaking mentality(on and off the ball)foward runs(on ball) and close down(off the ball) this is something i never knew, and keep in mind i play this game for over 10 years now ! :LOL:
 
Im second in the league with Derby after 14 games

This is a weird game though. Im getting battered every game on possession and shots but i still win games by the odd goal. I have tried tweaking every part of the tactics to get more shots and keep the ball more but the game is having none of it and its starting to piss me off

Basically all i am doing is playing shit and winning and there is nothing i can do about the first part

basic what i did with everton, although many teams dominated me, they rarely got cleary oportunities cause my defense was so strong.

You're getting tactics, training schedules etc. from other people and just signing people from a list somebody else has made.

So you can't say you are better than anyone at this game, because you're not doing anything in the game yourself...
 
im not getting tactics from others. im actually using my own. i cant use the same setup that works great for everton seeing as im in charge of arsenal . im just trying to get a general idea on how effective these new sliders are and apparently they are very effective.

i can say im better if me and someone play with the same team and i beat them :) im just getting some advice man jeez. i have not actually asked specificity what training schedules are the best, i said does it make much impact in the game if you or others do tweak the training sessions or leave all as it is.

i agree i have asked what playera to buy but thats about the only thing im not doing on my own mate.
