That should be ok - a time should be set and whoever can't make it there team is controlled by their assistant manager.

are there options to stop your team selling players when you are not controlling them? so the only thing that happens when your not playing is that your game will be played by the assistant manager and that's it?
 
So if more than half of us can make it for a session, we can continue? Sounds fair?

I could have told you that

all we need is a reliable host that comes on at a set times every day for people to connect to, say 8-12 as an example

If 3 people join the game they get to do there own stuff rather than then the CPU doin it for you. If people cant make it the CPU takes over till you join back in again.

I cant see one when your not connected, thats the downside. There is the option there to do it while on holiday but thats while your connected to me

Just have to trust eachother not to do naughty things while people are away.

Also that no computer clubs bid for our players.
 
well the game is all loaded now people. going to have to add me on hamachi and msn to wort it :DD

How do I know if Weegie has installed?

I looked in my Football manager files and it still has the 802 Update in it - I can't see anything about Weegiee?

I extracted the .rar and pressed the Icon with the little Footy manager sign on it. It loaded up the game on the first couple of loading screens then just goes back to my desktop. Is that right?
 
Bobby, when you join the game, you'll notice the teams will be different then. Have you extracted it to the right folder?
 
We've got 8 in our Online Game at the moment and we're gonna set the limit at 8. So sorry guys, but it's all full. If this is a success then maybe in the future we'll start a new, bigger game.

I just extracted it?

I have clicked on it again and it loads the whole game up - Do I just play the game through the Weegie Icon. Or do I need to put all the weegie files into the Sports interactive folder somewhere?

Sorry about this all this computer stuff isn't my Thang.
 
Abou has got the right idea mate, extract the update into that folder, FM will pick it up then.

Best way to check is extract to that folder, then load FM and click to start a new game. It'll ask which database and you should see FM Weegie in there.
 
Trying to Install Hamachi and its being a Dick.

It says Install on Root account? what does that mean?
 
Dunno, sounds like a Mac thing. You probably do want to install to the root account tho, sounds about right?
