Mate one thing is single incident, but other thing is if he repeats this behaviour in almost every game unpunished...everyone can explode, such as Cantona for example... but doing something with the purpose to harm oponent is something that need to be punished asap.
 
yeah, but just tell me was there ever more than few bumps recieved for players after Pepe's tackle? Has anyone lost few weeks, months or even a year because of his tackles? In worst cases players have been sidelined for couple of matches and than back in action.

I mean, I don't defend him. But if more brutal tackles are not punished (not just this one from Taylor on Eduardo) than why Pepe deserves big penalty?
 
LOL he once made a ball out of a player and kept kicking him. The guy is a freak no doubt. That was when he deserved a huge ban but the Clasico stuff. Meh! The media are making a big deal out of it.

You can´t take this as an excuse, it´s an atempt.. Just imagine if his boots when he kicked the guy´s neck or back were a bit lower, he would have scars for life.... And everything is done knowingly, it´s not as if we could say he didn´t know or he didn´t meant...

Remember Kompany red card against United? Nani was all right but he got Red, strainge red but explained as an atempt, and that even was a sliding tackle, without intention to kick or harm him with arms and so on...

Pepe might harm someone on field the way they can sue him...becouse that is what we see on the videos..

That was tackle where I started not to like him. He kept kicking him because that poor guy tried to simulate a foul to be awarded a penalty kick. But other than that I don't remember any Pepe's tackle that was such a blame and something which does not happen often in football. Again, there is no excuse if you step on someones arm (like he did to Messi), but I think that medias all over the world are trying to make Barca look like a group of angels. And than Every tackle from Madrid players is run over and over and over again.

Best example for this is dive Pepe did on wednesday against Barca. It was all over the place how Real is playing dirty, diving and so on. And when Barca players do the same than it is just normal.

I am not taking that as an excuse. He made a mistake (kicked a player who was lying on the floor) and he served a penalty for that (if I remember correctly that was 5 or 6 matches ban). Has he ever did that again? No, and I really hope he will not do that in future. He is aggressive player, but at the same time he is (in my opinion) one of top 5 or 6 central defenders in the world.
 
I think that this situation with Balottelli shows exactly what I was talking about media making angels of Barca players, and devils out of Real Madrid players. When Pepe stepped on Messi's arm than it was for penalty, he should be band from football for life etc., but when someone other does even worse thing (hitting player in with foot in his head) than it just happens.
 
Cuky, don't even bother mate. you can't beat the populist shit. hundreds of thousands of people around the world like and demand it theirselves.
