FIFA (All Versions) Career Mode Stories

Almost done with my 3rd season with Darmstadt on Fifa 17.
Won the league with 5 games left and its been quite easy tbh, WC 10 min semi pass/shoot.
Im going to experiment with sprint descrepancy, im usin 51/52 and the only game ive tried it so far felt much harder.
Dont want to change difficulty since WC plays very good, though a bit to easy, so ill keep testing some more.
Still a fantastic game

So 3 seasons completed with Darmstadt on Fifa 17
1. 6th place Bundesliga. 2nd round DFB Pokal
2. 5th place Bundesliga. 2nd round DFB Pokal. Group stage Europa League
3. 1st place Bundesliga. Semifinals DFB Pokal Semifinals. Semifinals Champions League

Now the question is to whether continue with Darmstadt or move on

When I play my FIFA 16 career, first with West Ham, then with Wolves, I always assume I'll play until I win the Premier League and the Champions League in the same season. So far, I haven't managed to do that. Overall, over the course of a dozen seasons in my three careers, I've only managed to win the league twice. I think I've won the Champions League six times. That's why FIFA 16 is always a challenge for me and I never get bored. FIFA 17 – I'm playing my first season in English League Two, and it seems too easy and gets boring quickly. It's a shame there's no way to modify the gameplay like in FIFA 16.

Think this is my first title on FIFA 17,dont think ive won anything on 16/18 either.
Its weird, like i posted in the 17 thread, now that i have a 2nd career with Dortmund, same settings/sliders its very challenging.
To me the the toughest seasons ive had have been on FIFA 18

Giving my FIFA 17 a rest and going with FIFA 18.
This career is really challenging, 10 min semi shoot/pass the rest manual and legendary difficulty.

Decided to go for Hamburg, and this Squad is all over the place, its also the season 17/18 when HSV got relegated and stayed in the Zweite BL up until this season.
8 games played, and every one has been very tough.

HSV 0-0 Augsburg
Köln 0-1 HSV
HSV 2-3 Leipzig
Hannover 0-0 HSV
HSV 3-1 Dortmund
Leverkusen 1-2 HSV
HSV 1-3 Bremen
Mainz 2-1 HSV
The Toughest game was obviously the Nord derby vs Bremen.
2-1 down and a missed 1v1 vs the keeper became a counter attack and 1-3.
Really bad loss
Next game is FC Bayern at home and i expect nothing to be fair.

Really good fun and a very challenging career

Hanging on and staying up is my objective for sure

As expected my home game vs Bayern proved to be very hard,
I had quite a few chances first 20 min, even got a penalty that i missed.
Hamburg being the better team for the first 30 min.
Then in the second half Bayern upped their game, started attacking more and Ribery curled in two gols when cutting inside.
Late game i had a chanche but hit the post and that was game.
And this made it my third straight loss.

Next game was the first round of The DFB pokal.
Facing Bochum a zweite Bundesliga team, so hard to nreak them down, had a few chances nothing major, but managed to score from a cross in the box in the 79th min.
Held on for a solid but very nerv wrecking 1-0 win.
This game isnt a "when life gives you lemons you make lemonade" more rub it in your eyes and eat them kinda game
Very challeging, been frustrated a lot but never felt cheated and also wanted a real challenge, so its quite alright.

Moving on to a Bundeliga game away to Hertha Berlin next

3 straight losses för HSV and we need to bounce back
Hertha away was a weird game, not really playing that well but got 2 penalties in that game eventually won it 4-1, not sure I deserved it though.

Stuttgart at home was a game that felt and played real easy for me,out played and out shot the pretty comfortably and won it 3-0

Then I had a very good Schalke 04 away.
1-0 up early, controlled the game then a fast attack from them, a brilliant give and go and Teuchert made it 1-1 Schalke
2nd half and Schalke pressed me hard but my counter attack has been my bread and butter and this attack showed just that, Schalke standing with a high defensive line and i took advantage quite clinically.
2-1.

Schalke immediately answered back and 2-2.
Last 19 min i held on, Schalke hitting the woodwork twice, one of them from out of the blue, a curled shot from way out on the left side.
Even Stevens 2-2.

Sitting pretty good at the moment with 17 points and a 9th place after 1/3 played of the season
Next up is Hoffenheim at home

This game is a real gem tbh

What goes up must come down right?
A very solid 2-0 win Vs Hoffenheim at home, a tough and fast paced Hoffenheim I played BL worst team away, Freiburg!

Couldn't get any rhythm at all, a rainy and heavy pitch was very tough to play a decent passing game on.
They very much deserved a result since I underachieved in this game.
A 2-0 loss and I'm back on the ground.

My next game is Vs Wolfsburg which will be a tough challenge

Meltdown in Hamburg

Don't think I've had a more challenging and fun career in any FIFA game for years and years.
Next game ,Köln away in the DFB pokal, last 16.
And having two straight losses in the league means I need to step it up.

Finally a league win.
After losing to Freiburg 2-0 away and Wolfsburg at home 3-1 then a 1-1 draw in Gladbach i won against Eintracht Frankfurt at home 2-1, though they scored in the 80th minute I was able to hold them of to a very well deserved and welcomed win

17 games played , meaning I've played half a s Asian and I'm sitting quite comfy in 8th place with a few points up to euro spots but also not that far from relegation zone.

Augsburg at home then Köln at home and if it play well it should come away with 3-4 points from those, and then a very tough game away to Rn Leipzig before we close the books on January.
