@Mathgamer has just told me that this clip is from the old-gen version, not PS5/XSX - so "Hypermotion" isn't part of it.

Not that I believe crab-walking will be fixed on the next-gen versions either, but. We live in hope, right? Silly, pointless hope... :CRY:

Fair enough, I keep forgetting those old-gen versions are even a thing or that people are bothered about them. At this point they're surely not going to be much more than a "Legacy Edition" or "Season Update".

Other clips though like the ones in the "gameplay deep dive" which are next-gen still show it happening though.
 
So it looks like you can create a custom team, and custom players, but not put the custom players in the custom team. Proper half job if that's the case.
 
The "Co-Op Public Matchmaking" thing is SO WEIRD, and shows how some people literally won't play FIFA without a FUT element.

Basically, you get assigned a random partner to play with, versus two others in the same situation - but you have to use one of EA's provided "FUT teams of the week". It's not your team, or your partner's team - it's more than likely to be some YouTuber's team.

Why?

Why wouldn't you do the same thing but with a real team? Why not, say, press a button that says "4 star team" and have a real team assigned to you and your opponents - and then you learn a little bit about a real team? Rather than xXGam3rBr0Xx's dream team? Who gives a shit about that?

So weird.

As for the stadium customisation...

What is this, Migraine Park? Jesus Christ...

To be fair the trailer shows that fut is really deep and a lot of contents for the kids to be hooked. They must have put a lot of effort into the mode.
But to me its like some casino/funfair/arcade centre ad. Very flashy. Very colorful. Little gameplay

That’s why I’ve taken no notice, it’s child’s play, all the awful colours, inflatable cats, ridiculous kits and tricks……I’m buying this because I want to play with like minded folk who like to play the game like a proper football match and I’ll give the SP a go…..everything else is just worthless for what I want.

But then again ,any hard working ultra obviously includes inflatable cats in their tifos.
 
Even if it looks a little bit over the top, and too much of everything, I'm still happy they're adding all these options.
Looks like they've done a lot this year.
I don't know if I'll ever use any of it, but it's nice to know they're there.

When the game starts feeling boring after 4 or 5 seasons, you can start looking at all these other things. I don't know.
 
It's about time they add flares ,just a thought ,instead of cats and stuff.
But at least they're adding stuff.
Last year they added "see opponent's lineup"
The year before that (or with 19) league badges automatically changed when promoted/relegated.
Which was way ...way overdue!

But like a said , they're adding stuff ,good.
Just hope they focus on realistic stuff as well

I have to say - even tho FUT is not my cup of tea - I admire their work. When you put both games side by side - its embarrassing at Konami side, even tho all the efforts went to online this year (or two years)
They dont even have names for their modes for god sakes.
In the meantime
- What else do you want at your FUT stadium??

Tbh apart from all the stuff I’m not remotely interested in, I’m actually impressed with what I’ve seen so far and looking forward to playing with like minded people.
 
They can tout the hypermotion marketing buzz all they want but once i see the typical fifa lean and run (the ones where the run off the ball) it instantly kills my enthusiasm. This run has been in fifa since 2014 iirc.
