For me it works still with exe.1.00. For the first time when you have replaced all files (not only exe.1.00 is needed), than when I launch the game through EA APP a registration field pops up at my screen where EA asked for your login Data again. After I registred again the game starts with exe.1.00. That´s it!
I heard sometimes it doesn´t work anymore, but for me and many others it still works. Just put EA APP offline everytime when you start the game now.
If you need the files for exe.1.00 let me know and I will upload them for you. But I assume you already have the files when you used the files in the past with Origin.
