FIFA 19 Discussion (PC Version)

I switched to Krebstars sliders (can be found on Operation Sports)
What a difference.
This game plays really really good now, CPU not tiki taka every attack, bad touches, physicallity is back, sloppy passing at times and freekicks, not one in 6 games, now 3 in my first half.
gamechanger for me.
a couple of things though.
If under 10 min halves, dont bother, these are for 15 min halves due to the pace and "sloppy" gameplay, im on 10 min and its ok, but probably switch to 15.
I play on WC assisted pass, manual through balls and semi shooting, but might go up to LEG difficulty ( i acctually played this on the highest back when).
This might have me playing this game again
Hi, is there some patch who would make AI to foul more? Thanks.

Does anyone know of a mod that includes the current 23/24 Italian Serie B clubs? With correct logos, kits etc? Seems like most ‘19 mods are missing Serie B updates.

Thanks in advance!

Try the earlier 1.0.5 version (this version doesn't require SDK creation in order to run) of Frosty Editor and Frosty Mod Manager, which you can find here - https://github.com/GalaxyEham/FrostyToolSuite/releases

I did a test run with that Frosty version this morning, and was able to get FIPv2 up and running with vanilla FIFA 19 (I've added a couple of screenshots).
i also use 1.0.5 version but frosty mod manager won't launch the game

Has anyone found a way to change commentary language in FIFA 19? (without the origin app)..
I think it's the one flaw in an otherwise great game. :)

Have you tried the CPY version (as it's now officially abandonwear there's no torrenting legality issue)?

I haven't been able to install any mods on the CPY version that @millossobek linked above anyway. I tried installing FIP v2.2 with Frosty Mod Manager 1.0.5, and it gave me an error that the mod was designed for a different patch version and missing components. It seems like 18 and 19 are difficult with these things, unfortunately I didn't buy it when the game was available for sale.

Mate, try the Mod Manager Version higher than 1.0.5. Currently the newest Version is 1.0.6.3. I´ll leave the link for you below. At YouTube check out a FIFA 19 modder for that special Version called FIFAVL. Search his name and you will find a lot of working mods for the abandonend Game. The above linked Game Version version is on TU 7, most older mods didn´t work properly on that TU. ALthough you can apply the Infinity mod via Frosty projectfile to the particular TU. But tbh I like to play the YT Mods because they are running flawless on TU7. There are always the newest Squad updates available, real Face mods, and much much more.

Hi both, just flagging that my advice regarding using 1.0.5 is only for getting the base 1.0 vanilla version (i.e. release day version of FIFA 19) up and running with FIP. I shared links to the 1.0 version in an earlier post. Note to play this version, you need to own FIFA 19 on Origin, it has nothing to do with the cracked CPY version (which is Title Update 4 or an unofficial Title Update 7 depending on where you download it from).

For CPY version, it is not straight forward and is a bit technical to get mods working. There are some files included in the CPY FIFA 19 install that need to be manually deleted first (all of the non-English commentary and locale .tocs if I recall correctly) before you can even get Frosty Mod Manager to startup correctly without errors, and you also need to use Extreme Injector to inject six FIFA 19 dlls every time you launch the game from Frosty to get the game working (find @Zubi post in the retro FIFA installers thread for a list of the specific dlls).

Assuming you can get all of this sorted, you are also limited to mods released specifically for Title Update 4, any later Title Update mods (unless they are mods that don't touch legacy files, such as faces and minor graphics) won't work (something to do with the way legacy files are handled in the Frostbite engine).

FIP is an exception, as the v2.0 project files were shared by the author (I linked them earlier), so you can use Frosty Editor to rebuild it into a Title Update 4 (or Title Update 7) compatible version and use it with your CPY version.

Does anyone have the last available squad update for FIFA 19 with all the January transfers done for that season or a version of the FIFA 20 squad file for FIFA 19 with all the summer transfers done up to September 2019? Thanks.
Skoczek on the Soccer Gaming forum has gone to the effort of archiving many of the previous FIFA squad updates - the file linked in the thread below has a whole bunch of FIFA 19 ones, including the final squad update that you are looking for:

I assume there is no way of getting FIP to work without Extreme Injector on CPY version then?

The CPY executable is modified (to get rid of Denuvo), which causes a lot of problems for Frosty Mod Manager.

As far as I know, the Extreme Injector method is the only way to overcome these problems and run mods with the CPY version of FIFA 19.

Thanks for the feedback, this is really helpful. I was trying various Frosty Mod Manager releases and kept coming across the same issues, so I figured it was probably beyond possible. I’ll just stick to the base game unless I can find a cheap license to purchase.
