Hi both, just flagging that my advice regarding using 1.0.5 is only for getting the base 1.0 vanilla version (i.e. release day version of FIFA 19) up and running with FIP. I shared links to the 1.0 version in an earlier post. Note to play this version, you need to own FIFA 19 on Origin, it has nothing to do with the cracked CPY version (which is Title Update 4 or an unofficial Title Update 7 depending on where you download it from).
For CPY version, it is not straight forward and is a bit technical to get mods working. There are some files included in the CPY FIFA 19 install that need to be manually deleted first (all of the non-English commentary and locale .tocs if I recall correctly) before you can even get Frosty Mod Manager to startup correctly without errors, and you also need to use Extreme Injector to inject six FIFA 19 dlls every time you launch the game from Frosty to get the game working (find
@Zubi post in the retro FIFA installers thread for a list of the specific dlls).
Assuming you can get all of this sorted, you are also limited to mods released specifically for Title Update 4, any later Title Update mods (unless they are mods that don't touch legacy files, such as faces and minor graphics) won't work (something to do with the way legacy files are handled in the Frostbite engine).
FIP is an exception, as the v2.0 project files were shared by the author (I linked them earlier), so you can use Frosty Editor to rebuild it into a Title Update 4 (or Title Update 7) compatible version and use it with your CPY version.
