My goal keeper trying his hardest not to lose his balance and still conceding anyway made me laugh out loud.

The fact that I've been playing this on a kinda regular basis and that I'm still seeing different goals being scored (both by me and by the AI) and different situations on the pitch rendering matches different from each other makes me really think that I've been really, really silly to pass on it when it got released.
Fun is definitely to be had with this.
It's not that it doesn't have its shortcomings of course (for example I'd love to see a little more fouls as currently they're not that many, with the "fouls conceded" counter being a little higher than the "fouls won" one), but it's really a good game if you ask me.
Good foot planting (OK a little bit of skating is there if you watch the replays closely, especially when a player adjusts for a shot for example), teams acting as teams and not as groups of individuals minding each his own business, a fair amount of "ooooh" moments (which don't hurt)... It has definitely grown on me.
Fun is definitely to be had with this.

19 is the last FIFA I ever truly loved, for a period (I remember feeling like patches ruined it, but in all honesty I can't remember how).
I even made a playlist of my 19 clips on YouTube, seeing as there were so many things I loved...

I'd do anything to score a goal like that on a next-gen football game.

I think that I also should collect my videos (most of them are saved in the Xbox One external USB memory so after all retrieving them shouldn't be difficult), go through them to see if there's something worth sharing and then do something like this, too.

You can do a search on YouTube. A lot of people put the links to their patches/squads on there and there’s normally squad updates for every version. Hit and miss which ones are the best but the comments and a bit of trial and error should get you somewhere. I’m venturing on a similar mission myself for 19 so I’ll report back with anything I find buddy 👍🏻

Played a game on my Deportivo La Coruna save, 6 games in.
Had a lot of fun, still a few things bothering me.
Cpu being way to much tiki taka, almost never switches up regardless of score.
Freekicks, not one in 6 games, maybe one or two on my own half, doesnt really count imo.
Lots more skatey/rubber band feel vs my Fifa 18
But a solid game for sure, having fun!

Are you using the Operation Sports sliders, that changed the game from good to great for me.

Jepp, still way to tiki raka vs 16-17-18 for me.
Still, when i played it the most on release i used Krebstar's sliders, and they were brilliant.
Might go back and try them, then again im pretty ok with my casual Fifa 18 career.

hey man, you know what you can try to decrease tiki-taka? try increasing passing errors for the CPU, and also increase first touch control error.
It might make a difference.

Think i have it at 60 and then 65 FT error plus reduced pass speed (25 i think)@rockstrongo

If i go higher crosses will be all over the place, might try krebstars sliders again
Will fiddle with it, but got a couple of other FIFAS that plays better IMO.

I switched to Krebstars sliders (can be found on Operation Sports)

This game plays really really good now, CPU not tiki taka every attack, bad touches, physicallity is back, sloppy passing at times and freekicks, not one in 6 games, now 3 in my first half.

If under 10 min halves, dont bother, these are for 15 min halves due to the pace and "sloppy" gameplay, im on 10 min and its ok, but probably switch to 15.
I play on WC assisted pass, manual through balls and semi shooting, but might go up to LEG difficulty ( i acctually played this on the highest back when).
This might have me playing this game again

One half on LEG difficulty and it didnt play well at all.
But well n ULT.
So good.
Like a slightly better WC but way more organic.
This will be my Fifa from now on.

Awesome mate, I'm delighted you found a good set of sliders. 19 is the last true FIFA before it became the 1v1 nightmare and the introduction of iceskates and no midfield. Graphically, 19 is incredible and the last FIFA where without turning fouls off that you could have really aggressive games without losing 5 players to red cards.

Could anyone recommends well done squad update to 2024? Or well working Full patch with kits,faces 5 subs and year starting 2023 simillar to FIP for FIFA 16? I found some on yt but its a lot of comments that game crashes with it

I'm not sure anything like that actually exists.
Those FIFA games haven't been modded like 14 and 16 have. The most you can find is a "next season" patch (like for example the latest EEP for FIFA 20 which covers the 2020/21 season) but I doublt you'll find a 2023/24 patch for FIFA 19 made with the quality EEP has made us used to.

There are many working links for older footy games around. If you feel not safe with the download Page I can provide you an personal link which contains the EEP 19 Patch. And if you interest in I can give another link with a working High LOD Tweaker tool, custom cameras for any in the game available cam, a Pitch Color tweaker which makes the pitch greener noteable. Just let me know.
At FIFAInfinity you´ll find a 23/24 squad. But only for the default game and of course not for EEP 19.

PS: Are you familar with the YOU TUBE provided mods for FIFA 19. Many of those mods are working with the legit Version of FIFA 19. Like a 1.3 GB Face pack with new Squad Player faces. Take a look at my current Frosty Mod Manager load order for latest TU of legit FIFA 19 below. Ignore the marked mods which says usually mod could be not working because it´s created for another TU/Game Version. Even EEP 19´s TV Logos are working fine for the Game on his latest TU. I tested this load order and every mod works and contains it´s content. To show up the Face mods you will need the latest Squad update from FIFAVL Patch. Check them out at YT if you want. Like I said many working also for legit FIFA 19, the mods on YT are made for the "non legit" Version of FIFA 19 which are all created on TU 7 obviously. So all mods which have Legacy files edited are not working on latest TU from legit FIFA 19.

@Byronic did you have any mod for fifa 19 which can change career starting year to 2023? I try the squad update and it works but in game its 2018 and for example Hojlund from Man Utd has 15 years old
I dont need a whole patch with new faces kits etc. Only squad update and change starting year. To Fifa 16 we have fantastic FIP 16 7.1 with all updated things

I can pass you a little mod to have starting Career at 2023. It´s not a difficult to change your start year to 2023. The file is called cmsetting.ini. There is stored the Career starting year. You´ll find that file in Frosty Editor in Legacy structure and from there in the dlc Folder. Anyway, I upload it for you soon ready to import in to your Mod Manager. I assume you are playing on the latest TU of FIFA 19? I know what you mean, FIFA 16 is supported by great modders even in 2024 like Scouser and his team for FIP 16 mod. With the starting year at 2023 the Player´s age should be fixed.
Here is the Career Start at 2023 mod. Please make sure you are on latest TU with FIFA 19. The mod doesn´t work for the "other" Game Version, mate. You can PM me if the mod not working in your Game. Then I can make a new mod for you.
