FIFA 17 News & Discussion Thread

Does anyone know how to fix the super low points tallies in career mode? Tired of only needing 80 points to win the league because the AI make awful team selections
 
Guys, I'm using the FIFA Infinity 3.0 Patch and exploring Career Mode (Manager Career) for the first time in this edition.

I experimented with two teams, Aberdeen and Arsenal, and when I went to Aberdeen's training drills, the game crashed, but with Arsenal, the training drills were ok, no crashes..

I was wondering if anyone had tried a Manager Career with this Patch, and had experienced any similar problems (either in Training Drills or anywhere else).

Guys. Got a problem here with this game that is how LT+RT dribble works in this game, do you know if there's any way to make it so that you don't have to press and hold them both at the same time to start face up dribbling? I explain myself. When I hold LT or RT individually, and then later hold the other, my player won't enter face up dribbling. For it I need to hold them at the same time. It's quite a pitty cause it limitates a lot the kind of things and dribblings you can do with it, also because of comboing orbital dribbling (LB+LT) with face up dribbling. If you click once the LB or RB button, face up dribbling will cancel and will need to release and hold again.

Do you know if there's any way to change that? Would be quite much amazing.

Long time no see..

I recently installed FIFA 17 to play and feel it again after a long time. I was looking for the old builds/versions of FIFA Infinity Patch instead of the latest one (v3.0) which contains the 17/18 season updates instead of the OG season. Luckily I found old builds of FIP on Archive.org. So I'm sharing it here, as it might be very useful for those who want to try it out!

It has v1.0, v2.0 and v3.0. I haven't tested it yet, I just came here and thought I'd post about it: FIP 17 Builds

Does anyone know of a patch for FIFA 17 (any season) that works for the pirated copy? I can't buy FIFA 17 on PC anywhere (not even EA Play) so its impossible for me to play the game without pirating it. I tried FIP 3 but it didn't work.
 
Guys, does anybody know a way to edit the gameplay so that freaking defenders follow their marks when on counter? Specially when the ball has past from them. Got this issue where my defenders won't follow their marks properly, as always, and this will lead to the most stupid goals, and is quite annoying.

100% correct. I just reinstalled it and played it and I can't believe how beautiful it looks compared to anything that came after. This is probably the only FIFA I can play daytime matches on, at least on Frostbite FIFA. I also like the ball physics, I think they are the best. It's a shame that no one really cares about this game, and I guess it's not easy to mod and that's another reason why there isn't much content for it. If we could have a Classic patch for FIFA 17, it would be the only game I would ever play, because it looked best, player modes, and lighting, plus gameplay, you can make it play and look like a real match almost and for a FROSTBITE FIFA, that's insane.

Its a brilliant game, always had this over 16 which seems to be the goat
Need to go back and play it again i think
 
FIFA 17 is a game that I've only played exhibitions in (I've focused more on FIFA 16 and 19), but I've liked what I've played so far.
It remains a largely "undiscovered title" for me, even though I have it in my collection, but a proper Career Mode is definitely something I want to do in the short to medium term, as I've also enjoyed its gameplay (at least in exhibition) and I think the on-pitch presentation is really good too! :TU:

To me as a mostly console player, that's pretty much why I have this over 16.
It's pretty damn good as a vanilla game

Alternative you can use this cheat engine based Multi Camera Mod. First entry on fifainfinity website It´s an cool tool with many adjustment option right in a Match. Enanble the camera tool right before you enter a Match. Tab out the game while leaving the game in background running, than follow the usage guide from the readme file. After successfull applying go in match and adjust your choosen camera within the pause menu of the game. You can have fantastic zoom, height views which changes any game into more immersive experience.

Looking through this topic I felt the desire to start a career
in Fifa 17 :). I have a question though. What does the CPU's offensive game look like? Can he shoot a lot and score goals? In Fifa 16 I had to use mods and move the sliders a lot to get interesting matches in career mode. And Is there any way to increase the size of the ball??
