FIFA 16 News & Discussion Thread

If anyone's still interested in my "fantasy" additional European tournaments stuff using RFS. had a few issues getting things working as I wanted, so I'm now going for multiple tournaments with 192 teams each. There will be no qualification rounds or ability to drop down into lower class competitions, unlike in real life UEFA qualification. I'll release more information when I've implemented the formats ingame.
 
I wonder if it's also so difficult for you to win the league on Legend? I've been playing since June, I think, and I found the perfect combo for me: gameplay mod + sliders. I played my career in the Premier League with average teams (West Ham, Wolves). I played over 25 seasons and never won the league. Even when I had a team where each player had an 85+ overall score. Even when i had 6 points more than second place and 3 matches to the end of the season.Mostly the gameplay is fair, but there are matches where my team cannot make the simplest pass, the CPU is extremely aggressive and strong. These are the matches in which I am helpless. Do you feel the same way? Such matches often happen to me at the end of the season or in European cups. I wonder if it's a matter of mods or sliders or is it simply FIFA's scenario to make the game more difficult and most of us feel like that?
Edit: Today I played matches of rounds 31-34. 1 loss, 3 draws. 2 of them were very frustrating, impossible to win. The other teams it shares in the table didn't win either. I have the impression that if a competitor from the table doesn't win his match, I can't win mine...

As I told in another post, I recently played 9 seasons on 16 (although I'm on the largely despised vanilla 1.07 :P , but with some slightly personalized sliders) and I also had a lot of problems being consistently competitive. I've won a Premier League with a super Tottenham, went kinda near it again the second season with them (dramatically losing for a few points the Premier against Arsenal and being kicked out of CL in the semis) but the rest of the experience (the other season with Spurs, the 3 seasons in Milan and the 3 in Lille) was pretty far away from the first positions.

Another thing I also cited in that post, I had a CL group (always with the Spurs, ironically the same season I won the League)) in which winning was just simply impossible in all 6 fixtures.. I had the kind of games you described, with CPU both impossible to contain or to score against. Something similar also happened in the majority of the National Teams adventures I tried here and in past saves (even tho, after many disappointing tournies I managed to win a World Cup with Uruguay in this same save, only to be trivially eliminated in the following Copa America by an unimpressive USA in the first elimination turn).

To be fair, I kinda don't dislike the challenge even if it feels a bit unfair at times, as it echos real life roughness to me. Don't know if there is something in the mods that specifically make it even more unfair to you as 25 seasons with very good teams withouth winning a League seems a bit too much (and I'm sure you aren't worse than me at the game).

I also definitely prefer a challenge. That's why I was looking for a long time for the right mod and sliders to make the CPU score more goals against me. To make matches and seasons more interesting. Before I achieved this, I was conceding 20-25 goals a season but I wasn't scoring many goals either. Now the matches are demanding, interesting, more goals are scored and most of them give me satisfaction even if I lose. I also don't mind a few matches a season against a random opponent where I'm helpless. Because such matches happen in real football. Strangely enough, however, they happen more often at key moments of the season. I'm also playing 1.07. It's hard for me to say what it looks like in the original gameplay, because I've been playing with gameplay mods from the beginning. Ah and I'm not a very good player. I play on assists or semi assists and...legacy defending

From a few days i have a big problem with game. After Win 10 update i think or maybe my son install something i have a stutter in second match play a row or when i play extra time. First match after runing the game its ok but second or extra time start stutter like in the video. Few days ago i updated win 10 , not install antoher stuff but maybe my 9 years old son donwload something. I scan system with antivirus and malwarebytes, cleaning registry, updating drivers etc and yesterday i play few matches in a row and stutters gone but today in second match stutters back:( Like you see in video temperatures are fine, fps is stable but i cant play:/ Anyone have idea what can i do to fix this??

What always helps me is to set "v-sync" on, either in the Game settings (just set locked to 60Fps) or via Nvidia Control panel in the particular settings tab for your FIFA 16. Especially when you do not play on a Monitor and you play on a TV it´s better you sync your framerate to your 60 Hz TV. Well, Idk if you play on a Monitor or a TV but try this first if you not already tried to play with v-sync on.

I always have v sync on for fifa in game and in nvidia control panel. Today i play one game and stutter appeared around 80 minutes into the match. I don't really know where to look for the cause. Other games like God of war work fine..

Are you aware of this huge issue when we with a nvidia GPU using the new Nvidia App? The articles through the internet reaches yesterday my eyes. As a Nvidia App User I switched off those 2 AI based Overlay functions like recommend in that article. I didn´t used it in game but today when I am playing FC 25 I had the feeling a) My image is clearer now and kinda bluriness disappeared especially in pre match screen when I can change kits and teams. b) Also in game the Game have a better fluidity. My fps aren´t effected that much as I can play with 4k 60fps v-sync on all the time even before I changed the settings in the App.
Didn´t tried in other games till yet.

I install only drivers.I havent use nvidia app and no other overlays except msi afterburner. In the thread you linked there is also advice to turn off game mode in Windows. I will try to do this, if it does not help, I will try to disable all programs running in the background, such as antivirus or msi afterburner.I hope somethings help. Thanks for reply

Seems you have a really an insidious Problem! Yeah that´s what I would do check the background running Programs when you are playing. Sometimes it helps to re instal the nvidia Driver. But going through every little step again is often the solution. Last question: Are you running a reshade Preset in your FIFA 16? If not this will be also no starting point.

I don't use any reshade :) The problem appeared suddenly, it's hard for me to connect anything with this problem except that Windows 10 was updated a day or two earlier...

I have a technical question. Is there a way to play FIFA 16 smoothly with more than 60fps? If I set the game to no frame rate limit,the game generates about 350fps, I have a 240hz monitor - the game is not smooth and there is tearing. When I lock it at 120fps and turn on gsync compatible, stutter occurs. When vsync is turned on, the game is the smoothest, but it always automatically locks frames at 60fps, regardless of whether I set the monitor to 240hz, 120hz, etc. When vsync adaptive is turned on, it also works smoothly but locks fps at 68. Conclusion - the game works best with vsync turned on, but why doesn't it synchronize fps with the monitor refresh? At 120hz vsync should generate 120fps etc. Does fifa have any fps lock? I know that 60 fps is sufficient for this game, but while looking for a solution to my problem with stuttering, which I wrote about a few posts above, I started fiddling with monitor settings, vsync, gsync, etc. and I wonder why it works this way?

1) download fullscreenizer program.
2) change resolution setting as windowed from game settings which is in fifasetup folder.
3) launch game. then select fifa.exe from fullscreenizer program then make it fullscreen
 
After over 3 weeks of daily attempts to eliminate strange stuttering while playing, I finally found the culprit! It turned out that for some reason the stutter in Fifa was caused by the bluetooth usb dongle... When the stutter starts to occur, I have to disconnect the dongle and connect it again and the game immediately becomes smooth. Unfortunately, after 15-20 minutes of playing the problem returns, so I have to buy a new adapter and hope that it will solve my problem permanently:)

guys i would like to start modding and playing fifa 16 but i don t know where to find the clean version of the game in order to mod it... do you know where is possible to download the game?

If you dont have a legal copy of the game you must download Delusional cracked version. Its 1.7 version but mods should works fine. I use that version with FIP 16 patch, Anths physics mod, Paphino gameplay mod and all works very well.
 
Hello! I have been playing modded PES 2021 for a while which is one of the best simulators out there, but the career mode isn't that great after playing it for a long time. Then I came across RFS by Rinaldo which looks really good and since then i have been interested in trying it out with FIFA 16. And then I see that there are so many mods for FIFA 16. So for people using RFS do I need any specific mods with FIFA 16 like faces, updated teams etc.?

You can install install a Patch which covers many things you mentioned additional to RFS. You should have a lil bit experience with RFS installation to do so. But you can add mods like Faces, Stadiums etc. at single mods without a complete Patch.
I would recommend you when you are new to FIFA 16 and RFS to read the PDF Files from RFS to correctly understand how to setup your FIFA 16 Game Folder. Everything you need to know is well documented by Rinaldo there. Mods for the Game are all around, here in the Forum or over there at Soccer Gaming Forum or FIFAInfifnty website.
When you have questions after reading the RFS documentations you can ask again for specific mod support in the Forum. But before adding other mods to RFS I would say make yourself familar with the installation of RFS into your Game Folder. Make sure your RFS installation works first correctly before adding mods.
