FIFA 16 News & Discussion Thread

Re: FIFA 16 News & Discussion Thread

Just watched Barca vs Chelsea on twitch, looks a lot slower pace and more realistic movement when on the ball. Much better defensive awareness as well. Looking forward to playing it now.

no youtube link?

Re: FIFA 16 News & Discussion Thread

they wont show it maybe because the flaws the guy mentioned. but anywho the press will write about it so i dont understand

Re: FIFA 16 News & Discussion Thread

Hard to judge by looking at snippets of gameplay but from what I saw everyone looked similar when dribbling

Re: FIFA 16 News & Discussion Thread

I think by midfield play they mean the cuts that the defenders are able to make when the ball is in motion from a pass. After that we have counter attack again. I am afraid that this will be the deal...

Re: FIFA 16 News & Discussion Thread

Honestly can't see the difference from last years game

That's because EA don't make drastic changes every year like konami since 2008. They don't have to. Remember older pes? They were quite solid, so the difference between pes 5 and 6 wasn't visually a major update, but it's nice for people who wants solid gameplay. Subtle changes in AI and stuff that tightens the game up. I really enjoy fifa 15, and with the changes in fifa 16 I'm quite sure that I'll be satisfied for another year.

Re: FIFA 16 News & Discussion Thread

The guy is saying that midfield is more involved when playing with Barca but all I see is the end-to-end play without midfield involvement.

Re: FIFA 16 News & Discussion Thread

Looks good, nice gameplay with two people who know how to play. Pace seems nice and there is action occurring all through the pitch, with midfield play and battling occurring.

I agree that the game is in a solid state. The biggest thing for me is trying to get teams to play to a style, which would add more differentiation between the sides. The tactics didn't seem to have as much effect last year.

I also hope they get to a point where we see a true manager carousel, where they move from team to team and bring their styles with them. Even have assistants who have a style based on who they worked with, etc.

Obviously career mode based, but managers are such a big part of the sport, as we see on an annual basis. It needs to be focused on more.

Hoping to see the same changes. Each manager should have their own style of play and not using the same generic tactics which makes it really predictable for us which later they combat using scripting.

Looks good to me. With some good slider settings, changed camera view & the new changes to the career mode i'm sure i'll have a blast.

Let's hope some of the tactics may have more effect. While not perfect, Krebstar from Op Sports came up with good ones for alot of teams, but last year he said they didn't have the same effect for some reason, so it was a bit useless.

It is odd, as sometime in the Spring, EA released a blog about tactical tips and how you could set them to produce certain team tendencies like the kind of passes they would play and the shooting tendencies of the team.

It struck me as odd that they would make a blog if the tactics didn't have much effect, and I just haven't had time to look into it further while playing.

Re: FIFA 16 News & Discussion Thread

In this Video the players look less skaty. One major gripe that prevented me from playing Fifa until now.

I am quite thrilled now tbh.

Re: FIFA 16 News & Discussion Thread

do you guys like those bullet passes?? player receives the ball like magnet on the boot !! this is the only thing i am hating after watching those video.
