My CM bug is playing 34 games instead of 38 in Serie A, and playing the CL final on a Saturday and then the next day a Serie A match. lol

never in my life have a seen a game with so much bullshit its an absolute disgrace how much money EA have made over the past few years and they still have to resort to the AI cheating to give you a challenge
makes players run away from the ball
players don't respond to your commands
you win possession back and another of your players runs into you to give it back to the AI
goalkeeper when they want to concede they do that laying back arms out animation
players will have zero ball control if your leading in the 90th min so they AI can steal the ball and counter and score zzz
AI can outrun and out muscle any player on your team regardless of stats
both you an the AI can score straight after conceding seen this over my career 100 times
you can feel an AI goal coming when they pass it 1000's times at 200mph and then blast it in at 400mph under the bar as if its trolling lol

and in regards to that bug i have seen it countless times too even on fifa 15 the other leagues tables seem to have some strange changes over the course of a season yet more shoddy work by EA

Are you sure you were playing fifa 16? Maybe there was the pes 16 disk in you fifa 16 box ?
Seriously though, i feel i'm not playing the same game, based on your description. I have a lot of fun and the game is fair, not scripted.

can´t recall that this ever happened, but if it did, it probably wasn´t all the time or comprehensible. At least it never bugged me, if it happened.
out of 50 goal shots there´s maybe 1 in it, where the gk looks awkward.
All in all the gk looks good and the animation makes him look trying to get the ball.
I had that with FIFA 15. And I felt having that in FIFA 16 UT, the higher I get into the league.
But on my CM (offline, where the game shines the most imho), I don´t have that. When it´s an important game and I´m leading, then in the 75th minute I put my strategy on park the bus and it works.

When it happened, then because of low stats of my player where it made sense. This is nothing I´m making up, just to build arguments.
I´m playing the game regularly since it came out and best example for this is the player Bolly, whom I bought quite early.
His total stats are on 70 now and he´s very fast (96 or 99 sprint).
But his balance is weak and he loses the ball easily.
So to him and to other players with similar stats in that regard it makes total sense to me.
Then I recently bought Kevin Prince Boateng and his stats in that section are much better.
Believe me, he can´t be out muscled that easily, at least it doesn´t happen in my game.

Don´t really know what is meant by that. Do you mean when the defenders pass the ball around in their half? Well when they do it´s very hard to intercept, but sometimes I make it, when pushing my team forward and use cpu pressing.

If I would, I wouldn´t play this game. In fact, that´s the best part of it, as there is so much variation in scoring and the way you move to the goal. The ball feels free and players do too. Not a friend of comparison but what really bugs me is that rail-laser-guided passing since PES 2015. It was a lot better in PES 2014. And in FIFA 16 when you pass, the ball physics makes it feel like an actual ball rolling on the pitch and not some thing on rails moving on the ground.
I said it a 100 times, but this one makes me bump my fist when I score and that´s the best feeling ever...something I missed for some time and something which PES used to give me for many years.
Second bold part:

^After reading that I can say I have also never experienced the points raised. Its just the same old FIFA rhetoric that PES fans mutter every year. The best one was "FIFA 16's not for me, I haven't played it its just not for me"

I dedicated time to it, but there's still something that doesn't make me feel like it's a great football game, good but not great. Definitely better than Pes 2016, though.
Each to their own and all that but for me its better than any PES and when I was younger my gaming life was dedicated to ISS/PES

Use legacy defending. Tactical defending is good against human opponents, against the cpu it is not realistic imo.
I am using it but CPU control and pass the ball very good
also when I use slider to increase pass error CPU cannot cross the ball correctly
once you go up to high 60's in passing error this then affects crossing ability which is what you are seeing. Reduce it to around mid 50's low 60's Lowering the pass speed to around 39-40 will also increase error as will upping first touch without seeing silly crosses. i spent a couple of hours tinkering on world class until i didnt see the silly trick passes and also the awful crosses as both irritate me the same..now i just get the odd one of each but not so much as it stands out

AI "cheating" is in the game. Its called Adaptive AI, it makes the AI more stronger if u play well.

lads i will have to make a video to show you what im experiencing a recent goal highlighted it perfectly where coloccini (sp?) had the ball coming him to clear and instead he ran away for a split second giving rooney enough time to bury it i have now installed bandicam and will upload some example at weekend
i have read people before complaining about their players not responding to loose balls on my rotherham career i never exeprienced this and im still on the same patch im thinking it must be a slider issue as i have changed them since there is a whole thread on operation sports about the response times with loose balls so it does happen

If your playing on world class or legendary, the CPU AI can play unrealistically, I play on professional and the game plays extremely well with matt10's slider settings.
There are definitely 'cheatey' parts to FIFA, and I love the game. Ignoring is naive imo. They *could* be programming bugs, but the timing of them is suspicious
A decent example that happens to me a fair bit is when I cross with 2 men in the box, the game often chooses the player who the ball isn't going to. I've had situations where I've been forced to a striker at the near post, the ball goes to an open attacker at the back post, and the ball literally hits him, he stands there as I frantically switch characters and then the keeper calmly comes and gets it.
Again it could just be bad programming, but it does seem odd.

When I control a middle tiered team it's a good enough challenge for me, could also be that this is the first time I'm playing Fifa properly too and still at times I'm getting used to the defending when one on one towards goal and I still can't score a lot of goals, maybe when i properly get the hang of it and start dominating il try world class.

I got to agree, i think professional with Sliders & Semi/Manual controls is the least frustrating & most balanced way to play. I find on World Class/Legendary that the A.I rarely makes mistakes, the defence is 100% regimented and i'm lucky if i even get a single attempt on goal in a match let alone an attack going.
Surprisingly Professional provides a decent challenge with some slider tweaks altough on default the A.I tend to deliberately miss alot of clear chances on goal.

As far as slider tweaks are concerned, I tried one of the suggestions on Operation Sports.
That is to decrease the CPU acceleration to 49 and to increase the shot speed for both the CPU and P1 to around 55 - 57.
This has made a huge difference to the game for me on legendary as it negates some of the CPUs more annoying tendencies and makes the GKs a bit less superhuman.

I have a problem. For me, professional is way too easy and World Class is way too scripted. What is the best slider to make professional behave like world class difficulty wise? It's just that in professional difficulty, the opponent doesn't press that much.

So many people were complaining about that momentum in FIFA and it was much more present in earlier releases.
In FIFA 16 I felt it on UT matches a lot, hit the post and bar like 5 times in a match and the stupid ball just wouldn´t go in, which drove me crazy.
A couple of days ago I continued my CM with TSV 1860 munich.
Made it to the CL finals and played against Barca.
Barca beat me with 2:1 and in that match I hit the post 3 times in a row.
It was awkward but I don´t have that very often when playing offline.
Anyway I decided to replay that match as I felt a bit cheated.
In the next match they beat me 2:0 and I left it like that, as I just couldn´t go through their defense and they simply played better.
Suarez and Messi have been in a top form it seems.
But yeah, even if kinda toned down this year imo (on professional - don´t know about world calss or legendary), it seems to be there at times.

Professional suits very well to me, because I chose a weaker team from the 2nd Bundesliga (TSV 1860 Munich) for my CM.
It had an average player rating of around 65. Now they developed to around 70 - 75 and I bought Sterling and two Midfielders with a rating of around 82. It´s still okay, I lose matches, win matches, have draws etc.
The stronger my team gets, the easier professional might become for me and in that case I would start using sliders then.
Still playing vanilla sliders.
If I had chosen a strong team like Bayern Munich for example, then professional probably might have been too easy for me as well.
But I love the challenge building up a weaker team which doesn´t have that great financials. It´s more exciting to me, plus I can go with professional difficulty, which doesn´t fuck around with my game that much it seems.

I am currently manager of QPR in my CM. So I'm not playing with a big team although they do have some good players. On professional I'm not winning every game but I win a lot of the ball and get many chances. I'm going to try World Class again with the adjustments mentioned by boyce and see what difference it makes. My main problem now is my defenders leave me short at the back quite a lot.

Personally, i play world class matt 10 sliders full manual slow speed legacy defending and i feel the cpu is not cheating. It's really too easy on professional for me even with weaker teams.
I just noticed my slider setting for Full Backs is set to 100 so I'm guessing that is why they are both bombing forward regardless of what instructions I give them. But that is the same as Matt's settings. I have changed to 50 to see what difference it makes.
I have mine set to 20's and never overlap if I want them to play more defensive, if i put always overlap then they always attack

Just played a couple of games of FIFA16 on my PS3 because I want to see if my brother will like it (which I think he will
) The CPU had a fantastic first time shot from about 25yards out on the right hand touch line. Completely took me by surprise. The CPU passed to the player and I was expecting a dribble along the wing but he just blasted it without taking a touch. Thankfully my keeper was paying attention.I uploaded it to share but took me about 15 mins to find it on easports, when I did it says it's not compatible with my device (iPad)
