Think that's the problem with playing on anything apart from Professional mate. In the end I've gone back to that difficulty level, cause it's where the game shines the most in regards to playing styles, individuality etc. Had to play around with the sliders to make it more of a challenge but I'm happy enough now. My results are pretty realistic.

Professional + matt 10's sliders hits the sweet spot for me, been playing it solidly for quite a while now.
 
I tried Matt's sliders, not quite sure what to think, it's quite odd to see each and every player struggle to control every pass..

*World Class for me Chris with adjusted Matt sliders to suit my needs. I've had a few breakaways where it's been 3 on 2 in my favour. Next time it happens I will post a vid.

Yeh that's why I adjusted mine slightly. It's all about personal preference. I use Matt's sliders as a base and work it from there.

Could you guys post your adjusted sliders for Professional difficulty?

For some reason I can't get used to the latest tweaks by Matt10..
 
i really love handball rule this year, its turned fully on for me. u can avoid it on purpose by jocky, also sometimes the ref doesnt even see it. just won the Manchester derby yet Halilovic cleared a clear equalizer goal with his left hand
 
In my CM as sampdoria my team is really struggling, I was doing OK but my last 5 games I've lost 3 draw 1 and won 1 which was an own goal. My team have lost the ability to score.
On another note I never fancied the international jobs and turned them all down ...until I was offered the England job now I'm made up
 
The thing i like the most in this game, is that you have to really think for the build up play. I rarely use the sprint button in this game, because it's pointless most of the time like in reality. Probably one of the only footie game, where it's better to get a pastore, than a walcott for example. Great stuff.

I agree although it is worth getting a sprinter with a bit of skill. I love it when Hoilett goes on a run and the defender is close to him but Hoilett manages to wriggle free. Not every player can do that.

I also like it when defending and you cannot get the ball but you can shoulder barge the player off the pitch. Sometimes a free kick sometimes not. So realistic this game. Its the first time for years that im playing a footy game with no game breaking faults.

The one thing i would like to see added is an option to see the draw for the cups. I think FM does it perfectly. Either automatic or one team at a time. That would really add to the realism.
 
I think on PC all this fuss with the CL.ini is a placebo. Tried to turn off rain completely, only have showers since for some reason during that the physics still decent yet it has the rainy weather effect ...BUT no, rain still appears. I guess its still a placebo and another reason for us to go through some ads to make some money for "gameplay makers".
 
the goalkeeper ridiculous catches from the inside the box shots is sometimes killinh it for me, even at 18 goalkeeper ability, these shots should be parried and not catched......come on...

Keep dropping the goalkeeper ability till it hits your sweet spot

Up the shot speed and also try upping your power bar..18 still pulls off some amazing saves but I'm not seeing unrealistic catches

I think I have shot power at 52 and power bar at 69

Passing I have at around 35 as it dictactes the game speed but with a higher power bar the passes don't feel slow without making the game quick

18 is the line i guess. 19 Goalie will catch a lot especially if its a decent one but 18 is doing fine for me the blast, placed shots from a decent attacker are goal inside the box...and when the goalie reaches one of those now thats a decent save and a wow moment. :))

i dont mind decent saves, but its the keeper catches it from even before the penalty spot this is killing it for me, these close range shots should be parried and not caught...thats what i mean, unrealistic and depriving u of the effort u ve done to get the goal..suddenly everything u ve done is for nothing,how about when ur working hard to get that equalizer and boom, keeper catches a pile driver from before penalty spot this should be fixed in 17..

Any chance you can record some clips? As ive not seen what you experience.
 
I think I know what he means.
It´s quite hard shots from inside the box and instead of parrying them, the keeper catches it in the air with both hands.

I don´t see that that often though that it would kill me.
On the other hand there are tons of superb keeper animations.

it's happening to me a lot with mattsliders, i dont know if it's the sliders or the game, but im having it a lot.

I know what you mean but I just don't see it myself and my sliders for keepers are way higher than 18. In fact GK Ability is on 52 like Matt's sliders. ;)

It must be something to do with assisted settings.. I do not experience it on full manual. Keepers sometimes make some crazy saves inside the box, but they parry, when they should. I do not want dumbed down keepers, I like challange..

Yeah could be possible as I play assisted.

Partly I´m with ramgamer. It looks stupid and unreal indeed.

But as I said, it doesn´t happen that often to me and I play with vanilla sliders and the updated version.

On the other hand, the keeper makes tons of real nice looking saves.
 
The way Tottenham played in the match last night after Chelsea made it 2-2, reminded me of how ive played in the past in FIFA when im fed up of losing. I just start hacking everyone down to see how many players i can get sent off. I've since grown out of that now :P

Hard luck on Spurs last night Geeeeee. . . a bit spiteful of Chelsea to go all out to stop them. . . .hazard didnt't put in a shift all season and plays like a man possessed last night. It's looking good for Tottenham's future.

Thx for being on my side on this, its really happening many times in my games vs cpu i wish i can fix it maybe i ll try semi assisted shooting dunno...

Thanks Deco, yeh speaking to my brother today (who support's Chelsea) and he said that it's a joke that they played so well last night and yet couldn't perform all season. It's a joke really, I'm surprised the Chelsea fans are so happy about the result last night and finishing top half. Also, I don't want to come across looking for excuses, but I think playing after Leicester so many times gave them a very slight helping hand. They should have swapped it around a bit. I mean Sky pundits kept saying how unfortunate Spurs are for playing second so many times but I'm sure Sky are the ones that arrange those fixtures with the games they want to show live.

Like I said it's no excuse Leicester deserved to win but were given a very slight helping hand ;)

Anyway to keep it on topic for ramgamer I've just posted a new video in the video thread that also shows goalkeepers parrying the ball from close range.
 
For no particular reason my game is broken again :D All team plays yet again the same with tikitaka, 90+ passing and less then 5 shots per game while i have 10 at least. Distance and first time shots dissappeared for no reason.
