Yeah, i'm having a blast too on this game. I play now world class full manual legacy defending default sliders. Really good.
Do you play full manual ?

Surprised at the numerous people playing lower difficulty! I play legendary with Matt10 sliders, I'm far from the best fifa player but I play with Roma and I'm top 3 in the Serie A mid-season, I may lose some matches here and there however it's realistic since that's pretty much how Roma's real season is going.
The game is really good I find, I played a Germany v England friendly the other day and dominated possession and the whole game with Germany, England scored on a counter in the second half but I equalized towards the end of the match.
I find Fifa 16 to have become a much better simulator than Pes 2016 that actually started to become arcadey, unfortunately I feel that we are going to be disappointed with the next edition with all the bad reviews from kids and arcade lovers. I don't mind staying on Fifa 16 tho, hopefully people will keep updating it
Did you work up to legendary or go straight into it? I struggle on world class so had to come down but then I find professional a little bit easy.
Do you think I should perservere and don't get annoyed when I lose?
I started on world class just for few days the switched to legendary even it was already difficult but I wanted to see the limits of the game.
You have to play with sliders on legendary of course. But you should play whatever you're having the most fun with or feeling is most realistic I'd say. If you see that you are winning games that you shouldn't way too easy then you can bump it up
The thing is you have to be patient in matches as it's more strategic than previous editions I think
I've found something similar with Marshal a division one player in my Bradford career. He's very quick and agile compared to most but is touch isn't the best at times so I bought a slower link up forward who can't beat people so much but his lay offs are excellent ..individuality is thereJust adjusted the sliders to Matt10's and had an excellent game Leeds v QPR, QPR won 1-0 with Chery getting the goal.
Anyone that says this game lacks individuality I would question. I don't know much about Chery in real life but in this he is becoming our best player. As an attacking midfielder he is wacking in the goals.
During this game he had a shot which was really really poor with his right foot and the commentator said something like "even though it's his weaker foot he should do better". So I thought next time I will try to get it onto his left. So I did and he scored this...

It feels so good when you get the shot right. So then throughout the game I kept trying to get the ball to Chery and he was playing excellent breaking from midfield. The individuality shows through as I start to get to know my players. I know Chery will make runs into the box, I know Hoilett can side step a tackle, I know Polter can have good and bad days. Fantastic game!!!
Perhaps the latest patches have tried to add "the Leicester effect"...Guys, what about the rankings in career mode, i've got weird ranking in PL, with west brom and newcastle 1st and 2nd 10 games on.
There is a file called simsettings which consists a number for smaller clubs if theres a high possibility for a surprise. That's why the likes of West Brom or Stoke are sometimes at the top of the table. It's only a few clubs as you will never see Leicester in the top 4 without editing their stats. I edited the stats for example as I only want to play a single season this time and now Leicester often plays at the top with Vardy scoring goals and the likes of Kane, Payet, etc. playing very well. Chelsea of course struggling sometimes.Guys, what about the rankings in career mode, i've got weird ranking in PL, with west brom and newcastle 1st and 2nd 10 games on.
EA sent a FIFA 16 survey to me last week - just been through it. No major hints towards what's in store for FIFA 17, but a lot was focussed on Ultimate Team and Manager Career Mode, which makes me think those two modes are the "main" ones as far as EA are concerned (Ultimate Team was a given, but maybe not Manager Career Mode).
There were "what do you like/dislike" questions about both, so for Ultimate Team I essentially said "like nothing, dislike everything", and for Manager Career Mode "what do we want - tactics, when do we want it - now".
I have just had the craziest game - still sitting in relegation in Div 1 with Bradford and i draw west ham in the carling cup away
I get three great opportunities that the keeper saves. At 0-0 west ham take the leader from a corner and a loose bouncing ball which they head in 1-0. I equalise with similar goal direct from a corner , keeper in no mans land 1-1.
West Ham score a screamer in the middle of the second half from the edge of the area into top corner 2-1. I get brought down in the area with 10 to go. Looks like the wrong decision watching the replay. Keeper saves the penalty. Still 2-1. I break free down the left 5 to go, fast pass to far post and the forward who misses the penalty blazes it wide from 4 yards tight angle..In the 93rd minute I break free again, wriggle into the area and brought down. Penalty scored 2-2.
!st minute of extra time i nick the ball in midfield and suddenly through 1 on 1, sub puts it low into bottom corner i lead 2-3. 120th minute im carless give the ball away and then fowl inside the area - penalty.. 3-3 and then the final whistle.
goes to penalties and im knocked out in sudden death..one of the best games ive played and although it was high scoring it felt like a cup tie and realistic.

Sounded like a good game. FIFA really does know how to create a realistic atmosphere. During some games I leave the cut scenes playing as I think it adds so much to the game. To me now it is no more just about the cosmetics as it used to be in the past now it all adds to a fantastic game. From seeing players fouled and then getting up and having a go at the other player, to referee's booking players for not standing behind the white line. I really had to hold back from posting in the PES2016 thread because I didn't want to come across like a FIFA fanboy but I put PES2016 on for one game and I had to turn it off. It feels so arcadey now, yes it's end to end but every shot seems perfect or just wide even on full manual. The complete lack of fouls is a complete joke. It really feels like there is no substance.
Whereas FIFA 2016 with the right settings and on 15 minute halves is pure simulation football. You really have to work out openings to get that one chance. Even then the shot can go anywhere depending on the player, best foot, positioning, defenders positioning. But when you score it is fantastic!!!
I scored this with Vokes, as Wales manager...

But sometimes I can take that shot and it will go well wide or across goal or anywhere. But he hit it perfectly. In PES as long as you aim it right it will go on target, but in FIFA you could aim it right but miss time it and shin it. Another goal I scored but I didn't record it was an effort from Ledley just inside the box, the wicked deflection off the defender took it past the keeper, in fact the deflections can take the ball anywhere. This game is so unpredictable each time. Just like old PES
My CM is pretty realistic to me apart from Leicester being at the bottom.
Unpredictability is the right word for fifa 16. It reminds me old pes too.
Really great goal by Vokes.
Seems to me old school pes fans discovering FIFA 16, like me, amazing game, spiritual sucessor to pes5/6.. Waited for this 9 years.. I expected in from Konami, got it from ea. Who cares.. I really wish pes becoming great again, but I think the chances are low..
I ended up buying this game again cos I'm in need of a footy fix, can anyone recommend me sliders

ignore the bug
well i have different FIFA 16 folders in my Origin folder(the up to date version and the original game ), i have to just rename the actual one to "FIFA 16" to make it work
In pure on field gameplay PES is hands down the better game especially what the animations offer lets keep shooting aside and fouls. how u create space in pes and how players move into position on the pitch its the better game, fifa is an all rounded game yes but pes has that feeling of build up play that u cant feel it in fifa.Sounded like a good game.
