It still isn't working for me.

Im gonna need a step by step guide, i dont even know how to create a 2nd player on this :LOL:

I tried making a guest account and logged into them both but that didnt work.

Yeah it does work mate. It's what I had to do to play my mate.

Bit of a faff really.
 
BTW anyone playing FIFA 14 on PC on PS4 controllers? I'm upgrading my pc in a few weeks, and my XBOX 360 controllers are totally used up. I was thinking of changing to PS4 controllers using the bluetooth dongle to have wireless controllers. The XBone controllers aren't wireless, so that is an issue. Which are better? I haven't touched next gen controllers yet.
 
I use my Xbone controller, Couldnt get used to the analogue stick placements on my PS4 controller, for football games anyway.

I used to. I liked the controller better than the 360 controller. Not so bulky and has the benefit of the triggers. Worked perfectly.

But why is it so important to you that one game fails? I'd rather they keep trying and provide some competition in the market. Both games offer different things and have negatives. I hate the whole ultimate/coin focus the series has taken. It'll be a sad day if all that's left is FIFA.

I wouldn't go as far to say its focused on coins and UT. I don't play that mode and there's plenty still for me to play.
I agree that it would be good for competition if PES was a more solid game though and I don't understand why anybody would say different.
 
Do you guys know where i can find a squad save updated with summers moves for fifa 14 ps3 ?
to fill the void waiting for Fifa 15 ! THX
 
I'm not sure how much competition EA considers PES to be anymore. They might both be football games but FIFA is competing with other AAA titles as much as, and likely more so than, with PES. If PES were to go away, FIFA would still have plenty of competition for gamers time and money.

There is no competiton anymore..Fifa will improve and get better every year with or without Pes..I don't think they consider Pes as a competitor anymore..
 
of course its a competitor, whether the games good or not is irrelevant, Its a football game at the end of the day.
 
The quality of the games are certainly relevant.

EA consider PES a competitor as much as Bayern Munich considers, well, pretty much the entire Bundesliga aside from Dortmund, as competitors. Yes they are technically in the same genre, just as Bayern is in the Bundesliga, but just like Bayern eyeing the main prize - the Champions League - the real competition for FIFA now is against other top titles.

It's not a perfect analogy but you can be assured that boardroom stratagems at EA focus on how to keep FIFA in the top ranks of AAA titles rather than worrying about beating out Konami's latest effort.

because i'm angry in some sort of way (as a hardcore pes fan) and i want to see pes being better game than fifa :)
 
im basicly new to FIFA, only played 14CG. but are these overpowered headers, over the top passes and so on are present in earlier FIFAs aswell? should i worry that these will be in FIFA15?

There's always something over-powered. Still, I'd be shocked if through passes aren't improved.

Those gifs are over-analysed and this from a camera angle that is never used ingame...
IMO you can only judge a football game by the demo and sadly that is not always the case.

True though sliding is still sliding, and there's some real ugly stuff going on in those vids. Both games continue to struggle with finding a balance between responsiveness and proper movement physics.
 
Sliding doesn't worry me, it's always going to be there to some extent in a game where players have to interact with such a dynamic object like a football. Animation snapping is a different issue, that we shouldn't be seeing in 2014.
 
fifa used to get a lot of stick for the sliding animations..tbh honest the game looked good but that shot looked ridiculous, there is no way you could accurately shoot with power whilst skating across a pitch
 
all the vids are from ingame replays and look really good.
i dare all the nitpickers that complain about sliding, footplanting and bad animation to give me some ingame videos of FIFA at about the same angle that look better or atleast the same.
you can even use ps4 footage.
