Just redeemed the key and I'm pre-loading now. English GB in there as a language, no problems whatsoever :D
 
Urgh- on PC - I've had my 3rd freeze in about 3 hours of play. The game looks fine, but just hangs - no control inputs do anything and I can't quite or go back. Once during a match, twice during career mode.

A bit poor for such a 'polished product'.

I also got 3 sudden crash on PC when the game just shut down like nothing happened and get me back to window while surfing on manager mode, looking at possible transfers.
 
i am playing online now anyway doing this vpn thing

connect vpn to load fifa. quit fifa, turn vpn off and load it again

online features work
 
having spent over 20 hours on the pc demo

then getting early release on xbox. i am now back on full release of PC

and it is much better on PC. not sure what they have done to the xbox
 
Hmm I'm really liking the 360 early release, strange, well if my retail copy doesn't arrive before the weekend I'll probably buy it cheap from Cddiski just for two days!

well my opinion might be different to yours Paul

but for me the responsiveness is right on the PC. the way the ball moves with the way it is kicked feels different to the xbox for me.

graphics are sharper and gameplay is smooth, it is not fast at all either

just played an online team play match and it was great.

difficult one for me this as most of my mates are online on the xbox. i was going to get it on the xbox and PC.

but the PC version seems superior to me and not just in the graphics.
 
Regarding gamespeed, I kinda feel like the pace of play is much more realistic on Legendary than on the lower levels. For some reason, it seems less non-stop counterattack.

Part of it, I think, is that it simply forces you to play more cautious on defense, and when you're less aggressive defensively, the AI is forced to play around you more. And vice versas, on Legendary the AI marking is such that I too am forced to play at a slower more thoughtful pace. The game is just too open on the lower difficulty levels.

Anyways, having a blast playing this game a) on Legendary and/or b) in single-player FUT. Absolutely love that they added Seasons to FUT. Playing now with a Bronze/Silver Norwegian team and it's a blast.

Gameplay on Legendary difficulty is def the way to go for me but the only drawback is that I can't manage manual controls yet at that level and need more assisted settings, but right now I'm having FAR more fun playing with assisted controls on Legendary than I am playing Manual on World Class or Pro.

(Oh, and I'm playing the retail release on Xbox.)

Way to fast really, even with sliders! Should be said that I have been playing PES 13 since release, so going over to Fifa is a real shock when it comes to pace!

Gonna tweak some more with the sliders and change the camera angle and see if that helps.
 
Does feel slightly faster than the demo did, even on slow. Graphics not as sharp as I had them as I was using a LOD tool to improve the graphics.
 
It gives you the option at the start of your career mode when you're making your character. I think you have to make it on the website first and link it to your account.
 
Has anyone bought with Kumbaso before? I'm always a bit skeptical with stuff like this after a bad experience a few years back. Going to be playing FIFA on my laptop which has a bust DVD drive, and I don't fancy paying the £39.99 from Origin when the game can be bought much cheaper elsewhere.

Green light from that website? £22 just seems too good.
