When I tried it again it jumped up to 38% but it just didn't move so I've deleted it and starting again. Oh well. Shit happens I suppose.
 
I like it. But it's feels like my players are taking some kind of narcotic, moves really fast!

-Players seem more responsive.
-Skilled players seem better as well.

Need to play more though. To early to form an opinion at the moment.

Has anyone compared across game modes and weather conditions?

However, I'm starting to just disregard anything anyone ever says about gamespeed. In the past there have been people who claimed the gamespeed had changed after roster updates, so... :HAND:
 
I personally am loving it. Only had a few matches last night, but lots of drama, particuarly in 1 game with PSG (5 stars) with Zlatan saving them with a hat-trick.

Heading is also much better. Scored one in each game with Vidic, Alex (both off corners) Ibra and Falcao off crosses (he's amazing in this) so pretty realistic.

If I may give one recommendation of who to buy in career mode, albeit based on one game, it's Isco of Malaga. Lovely midfielder.
 
It's not so much the game speed itself that fast, just the players movement, it just feels physically impossible for their feet to be doing what they are doing, it's jarring!

After all the slick build up, great intros as soon as you touch the ball it's like...this ain't quite right! Feels ok when you start sprinting, crossing and shooting, that feels ace.
 
Demo was almost perfect. Early access is tragic. All the players are in burst mode! They run, turn, pass with extreme agility and speed! Not normal at all. EA update please or goodbye...
 
I'm excited to hear there is a first touch slider. Also, in the demo I squashed the play by reducing team width to 45 for both teams and it turned into a much more realistic midfield battle. Here's hoping it'll be the same in the full release.

I'm disappointed that there's no VP in career mode with you as a manager :( why would they take that out? Have they gone down with a touch of 'Konami fever'?

Yep HUGE Disapointment for me, Manager mode was made much better bringing my VP in and building him up. Stupid decision to take it out and I still can't see any valid reason?!
 
for me too, it's way faster than the demo. i don't know how one could feel this way without a real change in the pace; it was just fun to play against the cpu for the first time in years, either on console or pc with time extenders. now, again i don't feel like i have time with the ball, just pass and pass and pass.. loose and fast movement of my players or lightning fast reaction times and standing tackles by the cpu defenders ruin it for me. and, by the way it seems like they toned down the first touch a little bit, it kinda explains the existence of the first touch slider..

I couldnt agree more! Lets hope that the retail dvd version will be slower on xbox360. Or EA will make an update to tone it down...Game is unplayable on this speed...
 
It may not be important to most on here but EA really have to do something about player models & faces. Fellani runs like him but doesn't resemble him facially at all, only the fucked up afro. So many faces missing. As for speed i think the demo was spot on but i've only had a couple of games so i'll have to get used to it. I noticed if you edit players boots/ etc when you play an exhibition game the changes you make are not visible.

If this is true, it doesn't surprise me. I had a feeling the game would not be the same as the demo. They have a great ability to change so many subtle things from demo to release that makes the game feel so different.

Hope its not as bad as everyone is making out. It can't be THAT different to the demo everyone loved can it?
 
Have they really toned down first touch that much? I thought it would be even more noticeable when y'all got the full game because you'd be playing with 'lesser' teams. Fuckkkkkk.
 
First touch does seem a bit less noticeable, but I don't think it has changed too much. But I don't know why they changed it? (If they have, it could just be me?)

It is different from the demo, I did prefer the demo more. I can't explain why really.

Still enjoying it though, had two good opening games to my MM a win against Sunderland at home 3-1 (Was tight until I got the 3rd near the end) and a loss 2-3 to Liverpool at Anfield (I let in two sloppy early goals and then tried to fight back all game).

I like it but I am a bit dissapointed that it doesn't 'feel' the same as the Demo....and I can't use my VP in manager mode :CRY:

Yep it is definitely still there and really good.

Had great couple of occasion when the ball gets caught up in my players feet, which looked really realistic with the pace of the ball and the angle they took the ball on.
 
First touch is great, use the triggers and it makes a world of difference. I haven't played online so are saying it's too fast online?
 
Don't know what these negative posts are all about? I'm loving the game, it's near perfect and brings back memories from PES5/6. FIFA13 is the best football game ever made IMO.
 
Same. Although there are a few negatives I'm having none are with the actual gameply. Oh and just had my first console lock, Email to have a bid rejected, click to view the email and the game completely freezes then 5 seconds later my 360 completely freezes.
