dilema dilema dilema. should i get this on 360 or ps3? lads, over to you
Go away.
Oh yeah, forgot about the replays being longer - you can actually rewatch the whole match! It's a nice feature, but only really useful if you play single player/offline multiplayer.I have the WC game for both and there's very little difference, so like Rob said, go with whichever your friends play. Two differences I have noticed, though neither are major, are with replays and the menus. With replays, the ps3 actually gives you longer ones, I suppose because of its built-in harddrive capacity(?), which is nice for being able to scroll back and enjoy a nice buildup play. I miss this in FIFA at times. With menus, I believe the ps3 moves between menus and loads slightly quicker. Not positive though.
Or you could be like me and if you end up liking it... get if for both!
Totally unnecessary.
He's entitled to his opinion and if you're not wanting to hear others' opinions, it may be you that this isn't the place for you. If all you want to hear is how amazing EA and FIFA are, then the official forums may be more to your tastes.
"We believe that the battle for possesion system can be better, we still se players that get pushed off the ball waay to easy, we consider that the effectof the "pushing" should be reduced."
"Defending is overpowered, we felt that, with the easy pushign of the ball an the so easy standing tackle, is waaaay too easy to defend, also, our defender controller by the AI are waay too good, so defending doesn't require much skill at all, it is almost automatic and we easily abused, also the pressure is intense. Cobine the high pressure, easy tackles and pushing and adversary easily and the result are less realism of the game."
"So, can you still score goals? of course you do, but it is too hard and less fun, actually it doesn't feel real on the higuer difficulties. We are talking about HUman vs CPU here, these ponint are less present on HUman vs Human matches thankfully."
"Fifa 11 has a flaw that most of the fifa games have, the feeling that you are always playing against the same team, same attack and defense patterns, same movements on the offensive, this makes that the best way to play is counter attacking."
"With this current presentation, fifa 11 will only give a new feeling to the most harcore or fans of the saga"
No need to get redundant though. We know the negatives. We've gone on and on about them. FIFA is an online game. It has always been this way.
Dave797 from fsb just posted on twitter that he had an in-game injury with Rooney in Career Mode!
That's all I needed to know!
I've played over 11 games and had one knock that didn't even last a week...

Cool. Any more screenshots? Nice to see Lavezzi has a proper likeness too.
Some of the non-English reviews are not lifting my hopes. The game is getting high numbers but some of the details are ominous. This website (http://www.meristation.com/v3/des_analisis.php?pic=GEN&id=cw4c9be31bc8b79&idj=cw4c0e80fcdd4b9#), which has given PES 2011 a lower score, rates FIFA 11 a 9/10.
But how in the world does it get a 9/10 when it says this in the review:
That and it gets a 9/10? That sounds horrible! Basically, everything I hated in the demo is still there in the final version. Players get pushed off the ball too easily, defending is overpowered and takes no skill, scoring is too hard and less fun, the game doesn't feel real on higher difficulty levels, and playing against the CPU feels the same no matter the team!
And that's a 9/10 football game?
