From this vid it almost makes me wonder whether any directional inaccuracy even exists on assisted? And pro passing hardly makes a difference as well. one thing that would have been nice to see is if you over hit a pass but it's directly at your player, that it would come in to the player's feet too hard and might cause a bad touch/be more difficult to control. Why can't we be in charge of this game?

Met Rod and Nick today, very nice chaps. Shame I only saw Rod for 5 mins really.

It's not as fast as those videos. Other than that I'm only going to say this as I'm on my phone in the pub. Rod said it, and I agree - it's better than FIFA 10/WC in every way... but not enough, in every way.

Ask Nick about his chat with Dave Rutter over the video conference!

I would say that it's good to see that pinging the ball around isn't as effective, but it seems that the only reason that they keep losing the ball is because they keep smashing through one another to steal it.

I can't be the only one who feels like the pro passing power gauge is almost entirely cosmetic from looking at these videos. It doesn't matter what position the player is in, nor does it matter how much (or little) power he puts on the pass. The Barça guy routinely put WAAAAY too much power on his passes (one in particular to Ibra) and it went right to him. Severely underhit, or severely overhit. It didn't matter. This video, thus far, is the worst example of that fact. No bobbles on the traps. The one pass that looked like it was going to be intercepted, Ibra was able to sprint back to the spot (sort of like how players would rubber band to the ball in 09 and 10 with assisted passing) and stab a leg in.

I bet he built himself up and was prepared to lay into him. Then Rutter came on and Nick saw his goodlooks and charm and then started to giggle and blush and just tell him how great he was.

I wonder if it went something like this:

Nick: Why do the videos of FIFA11 seem to show that the gameplay is faster than last year and there is virtually no passing inaccuracy.

Rutter: :RANT: Listen, I've read what people have been saying on the forums and let me tell you once and for all, the game is not faster and there is passing inaccuracy :LIE:

Nick: :BLUSH: OK.... :EMB: ...um....no more questions :BLUSH:
 
The reason for a lack of vids is apparently cos they just couldn't get hold of the kit manufacturers etc for approvals. They kept chasing but didn't get an answer. That's what Dave Rutter said anyway...
