Would someone please try to round past the keeper (and not like you did Placebo with Drogba cause it looked more like a bug) ????

I've done it just before, keeper bought it and went to ground. Slammed it home, he couldn't get to it - but the upload facility isn't working yet, EA haven't got the servers going and camera quality is never the same (plus I had someone sitting next to me going COME ON I'VE SEEN IT A THOUSAND FUCKING TIMES).

it is a great goal, BUT the gk is way out of his line, im stating to worry about that..ive seen gks way badly positioned on the gamescom videos too... :
i hope im wrong.

buuuuuuuut, as long as this doesnt happen everytime its good!!!! shows "human" error, the keeper made a mistake, it happens in real life so why can't it happen in a game?!?!?!?

I've seen a couplpe of this "human errors" in the keepers in the vids. As long as they happen very occasionally or in bad keepers, I'm delighted. If not, maybe it's something they'll have to tune like they did with crabwalking.

Lucky me, I bought Rock Band Beatles yesterday because Sony are idiots. Again this year. Please please me.

i completly agree with u, this can be a good thing, what worries me is that ive seen a lot of those positional mistakes on the several videos i saw...i hope it was just a coencidence and not a workaround EA found to make long range goals easier.

Exactly. I think - nay, hope - people are merely worrying over nothing. Say this 'glitch' happens every 30 games or so. What's to say the clips you've been watching have been this 1 random game in every 30 that folk are having? Also bear in mind that keepers aren't supermen. They do make errors every now and again, and positioning is one of them. I'd rather this was the talking point than that of PES keepers over the last couple of years. Some releases have been truly awful and ruined the whole experience. At least your still enjoying this.

The referee shouldn't blow his whistle for corners and throw ins. That is pretty much my only complaint so far..brilliant game.

Oh no the slow down bug is still there. All of the sudden the FPS dropped a little and you have to press the XBOX button so the menu pop ups and then press away again and the FPS is good...

Doesn't seem as bad as 09 though, had nothing in my first matches but now in one it happened.

Edit: Also it might be to early to tell, but I think you can block sots and crosses with tackles now and not get a freekick against you if he trips on you after the shot/cross. I was trying to block a cross but he got the ball over me and then fell over me half a second later. No advantage or anything just like it should be.

Oh and how great is it that every mistimed tackle is a freekick?! Love it! Even if you just run into someone very fast you'll get a freekick against you just like in real life. The kids over at the official forums will complain about this for sure because they'll get freekicks against them all the time, just wait and see. Hopefully EA doesn't listen to them and do the same mistake Konami did with PES 5 (similar as in FIFA 10) to PES 6 (arcade tackling system like FIFA 09).

It's passed the dad test, and the brother-in-law test. Quite difficult tests to pass for games developers these days.

Usually dad hates everything, but he hasn't played FIFA 09 in months now (neither has the brother-in-law). This definitely helped them because within the first few games against me, individually, they won every single one. So it shows that you have to come into it with the mindset of playing a different game from 09.

I keep rushing, I keep trying to pass out of trouble and get a quick attack going like I do in 09, over and over again - force of habit. But as soon as I slow it down and remember that I can beat a man rather than have to pass around him, I can try to get through on goal. Such a great feeling when you do.

With them playing it like a game you'd see on telly - slow and considered - they were battering me.

But yeah, in brief, two people who usually rip games/demos to pieces are loving this. I quote; "the response times are better, I'm not running into people all the time, I'm not getting bumped off the ball by midgets and you can hit some cracking shots. I'm impressed."

(Admittedly this was followed by "when you play it online though the bastards will find out some cheats within days" and I can't help but worry about that)

Is this build the one where chipping is 'cheating' according to Rutter? I think it will be.

Slower play definately works better in this game, much better :D Just a shame the halves aren't 5 mins each so I can properly build up play :)

No, it's a later version. The Gamescom version.

But at the same time it's still not the final version and all bug reports etc. can go towards a patch if needs be.

Just looking at the videos is a refreshing experience...can't wait to buy a PS3 SLIM for a long year of fifa10, nba2k10 and NHL10. Long live sport games...
