FIFA 10 360/PS3 Demo Feedback + Videos

Re: FIFA 10 Demo Feedback + Videos

Regarding the slower play creating a better overall game, does the computer AI give you time on the ball to plan and create things, or are you constantly being pressured to distribute? In reality, and certainly in the Premiership, players can have a good portion of time on the ball to pick out an opening - Alonso while at Liverpool for example. Is this the same to a degree, or when you receive the ball is the computer right on your heels?

Nice goal Dags.

Just had my biggest win of the demo. Barca 6-0 Chicago. Bojan attempted the most awesome backheel in that game as well, which was blocked really well by the defender.

Had a little break from it earlier, but was desperate to play it again after like half an hour. :D

I personally think AI closing down is a bit too heavy. It's something I've wanted for ages. You look at like when Ronaldo gets the ball irl; defenders don't dive in, they don't rush towards him, he does a couple of tricks or whatever then they might attempt to steal the ball. This has never been the case on FIFA, which is my only gripe really.

Bit of both? I find if I hold the control button, that players tend to ease off me a bit (maybe they're wary of me going passed them?) but even without holding it, you do get a bit of time.

I said earlier than I didn't find I had more time than I did in 09 ... that was a bit hasty I think. I do believe I'm getting more time with the ball now, and you can just play it around if you want (to an extent).

Damn, loving this demo

Re: FIFA 10 Demo Feedback + Videos

Is Felipe Melo playing for Juventus and if can you please try to shoot the ball with him to see he's got power or not ?

Re: FIFA 10 Demo Feedback + Videos

Juventus should have a pretty strong lineup, actually. Some very skillful players in their squad.

Re: FIFA 10 Demo Feedback + Videos

Nick wanted a hard shot along the ground? Coming right up...

Re: FIFA 10 Demo Feedback + Videos

Hey guys if you leave feedback in the official forums, for the love of God say that you like that it takes skills to defend now. I see a lot of the kids complain about too many freekicks and I'm afraid EA will change it and make it arcade again like in 09 :(

Re: FIFA 10 Demo Feedback + Videos

Please stick to the demo talk, folks. Everything else will be flushed.

Re: FIFA 10 Demo Feedback + Videos

Chris, I gotta tell you this game is near perfect. Be back in a few hours to test out skilled dribbling- the game mechanic is brilliant.

Re: FIFA 10 Demo Feedback + Videos

Riot on neogaf a few days ago said the game was incredible. I'm looking at these vids and am just mad hyped for Fifa 10

Re: FIFA 10 Demo Feedback + Videos

Andy Gray summarises the first half by saying the only thing good about it was the goal.

Second half starts and the commentator says if it's anything like the first half then he'll be very pleased

Re: FIFA 10 Demo Feedback + Videos

Right it's my turn to complain about chipped goals. Last three I've conceded have been, I think it's because the goalies automatically stand quite a bit off their line. Quite annoying really, hope it's noticed by EA.
