Flippin' beauty that is!

The Cpu scored one against me like that with Chelsea and me being Leicester City in the extra time of the FA Cup semi final. Just as I saw penalties coming up and maybe the grand final against Man U at Wembley, this happened:

I don't think I've seen the CPU actually score from outside the box in any of my matches yet. It's funny though, in my Morecambe season I've got Chelsea coming up in the Quarters of the League Cup, having already knocked out two Championship sides and Bolton. I'll no doubt see a long range effort knock me out now!

I guess I never took a goal from outside the box too..

FIFA09 next-gen looks a lot better than on ps2.. the movements are much more "free", if u know what I mean..

anyway, I have some vids recorded here.. I guess I'll upload them later and post here ;x

How in heavens name did you keep it that low while hitting it at full sprinting speed?

I was thinking that too.. I never had a shoot this low from long range.. it always goes high..

anyway, a beautiful goal there.. Schweinsteinger is really good at long range shots =D
 
That's my major gripe with the game, you could never score a goal like Rooney's or even Ronaldo's against West Brom, where you drill it along the ground and under the keeper. That's a slight flaw in the shooting system imo.
 
Like i said the 6 or so people that post videos here aint gonna make a difference to EA if they use it or not

you still have to get it off there site before you convert it anyway :LOL:

the key here is exactly this...i noticed that the better the player shooting ratings are, the more u can power the shot without blasting it into the stands...
if set that same exact shoot with lucio for instance im sure that ball would be a Fas suvenir by now, cause it would be high and wide.
 
That's what I mean by there being a flaw in the shooting engine, in real life Lucio *would* be capable of drilling a hard low shot yet in FIFA it's almost, if not impossible. You also can't seem to hit a hard shot along the ground a la Rooney/Ronaldo vs. West Brom. At least I haven't and haven't seen a single replay of a goal like that.
