I thought that was posted on wenb? It was TWEM with the first statement and Adam with the response.
EDIT: In case anyone cares, here's some more from Adam
Sounds great so far
And a new pic posted by TWEM:
Not sure what platform though.

thanks feller!
Now before this sounds too good to be true, he's the bad stuff. Manager Mode got next to no love. This year was all about gameplay. They said they know things need work and it's on the agenda for 10. And one of the big problems they haven't been able to figure out is how to manage fatigue over the season. So the CPU is probably gonna be exausted by match 5 again. But here's a good note.

Michael also said there are 5 different arenas to choose from for practice. I asked him if the dummy-wall was usable and he was going to find out. But I want to bring up the new stadium thing again. David Rutter went into great detail with Michael about the costs that are incurred with adding new stadia and how time consumming they are to implement. So it sounds like, IMO, we'll get more generics than real going forward. But the gameplay sounds like it's getting a top dollar effort and the game is continuing toward a great simulation of football/soccer. Michael said the graphics and animations are phenominal. Well, that's all Ive got for now. Michael can take it from here. I can't wait for October! Brian the Secretary.......
Michael said the stadiums look even better than last year. Good stuff.
Oh yeah, one final thought. This is coming from a guy who loves Pro Evo. So to hear him gushing really makes me feel confident this game will rock, fanboy that I unashamedly am........

It was a long day for the FSB Team visiting the EA Canada facilities here in Vancouver. Starting very early at 9am and working through till 9pm. But it was worth every minute! Over the next few days we will be providing the viewers with much insight into the PC and PS3/X360 versions of FIFA 09. Having played the game on both formats we are pleased to tell you that you are in for a treat. Next-Gen football has finally arrived!
The PC version of FIFA 09 has undergone a massive overhaul this season and is looking a real treat with the new mouse and keyboard controls that remind us of a certain football game on the Wii, be it with much much more accurate controls. The focus... a much more innovative control scheme.
The next-gen version of FIFA 09 though stole the show. From the moment you get your hands on it you will realise how much this game has come along. We were pleasantly surprised at the progress the team here in Vancouver have made over the course of the year. The focus was "250 Key Changes", and its clear they did deliver!
Over the next few days we will be posting impressions as well as images and exclusive interviews. Be sure to check back for a full in-depth look at PS3/X360 and PC versions of FIFA 09.
Signing Out,
FSB Team (Vancouver, Canada)
fucking shite.
not a single player person. i couldnt give a toss if they completely remove manager mode. all i want is manager mode online. im an online player and hate the AI in single player sports games:-pp
There's always PES2009 and the glorious ML.
I played 08 on PRO level and could win games on the WC level. In this 80% build of 09 I'm getting my a** handed to me on Semi Pro. At times I'm even struggling to get off shots.
Arsenal 5 Milan(me)-1
West Ham 2 Arsenal(me)-0
Spurs 3 Arsenal(me)-0
Just like in EURO, you cannot play 09 the same as you did 08. You'll need to adjust your playing style based on the new tactics system which is very well done.
This is by far my favorite part of the new game. The producers will ship the game with tactics already loaded for each team. They will guess based on their knowledge of the teams. Admittedly they know they won't be right in a lot of cases so they will look to the community for help. You'll be able to download tactics from the EA Locker.
Because of the new tactics, every team plays differently and the CPU does adjust on the fly during the game based on the score and situation. This is probably the main reason I was getting beat. I did not adjust the tactics. Your CPU teammates adjust their positioning and runs based on the tactic settings.
Here are the options for tactics:
OFFENSE
Build up
Speed
Pass
Positioning-Free form or Organized
Chance Creation
Passing
Crossing
Shooting
Postioning-Free form or Organized
DEFENSE
Pressure
Aggression
Team Width
Back Line-Offsides Trap or Cover

It's kind of tough to explain Vince but, because they have improved the controls and response the player seems to move into the animation a lot quicker.
I never used tricks in 08 because I couldn't remember how to do them all. Playing today I just held the LT and moved the RS and the tricks almost seemed automatic and believable.
Ok. A 12 hour day at the studio (plus a few Ketl on the rocks after) and the day is completed.
BP, I asked him (David Rutter) this question word for word in my 15 minute interview. I made it a point to give the example of a team playing a league match on the weekend, a CL game midweek, and another league fixture on Sunday. I also stated that it's feasible to think that a player with low stamina ratings may have to sit out a match. If that's the case why are we seeing the same lineup for the CPU every week?
David made it clear to me that they have yet to figure out the fatigue on a match by match basis. They can do it within a game, but not match by match.
I made it very clear to him and the other developers that the members of our community play a lot of MM and against the CPU and he does know that MM needs to be updated. They want to do this next year. Also try to remember this is his first year on the game. Don't misconstrue that as an excuse because when I mentioned many of the issues that we had with the game last year he completely agreed. He just stated that they wanted to get the gameplay finished first. MM is a huge mode in the game that can't just be fixed with a tweak here and there.
Last thing for tonight that I wanted to mention was about the fouls. Let me just say that they are probably tired of hearing me ask about it.
Not only has the collision system been totally overhauled for the better, so to has the referee system.
I spoke with gameplay producer Aaron McCarty about the lack of free kicks/set pieces in the game because of the lack of fouls. He assured me that you will see more fouls called in the final version. I saw a minimal number of fouls in the games I played today. I will bring it up again tomorrow to try to get more info.
