wow fifasoccerblog just post things we know. They don't even complain at anything. It looks like they just write EAs marketing lines.
Seriously why not tell us how YOU liked it. The only thing was about the mouse and keyboard. How about the speed of the game, is it arcady and more like pes? Best information seems to be from that operationsports forum where they don't just repeat what rutter says. FSB really is like WENB, everything is great and they don't dare bringing up the bad parts. Lame.
Those guys get a cut from fifa. They are not impartial. i don't trust a word they say including when they say "we are impartial".
nope dude we will deffo be getting footage before leipzig someone I know called weepeller from fifa 08 forums and works for EA recorded footage so there will deffo be vids prior to Leipzig to salivate over:w00t:
and hopefully today from the campus party!
I'll get some pics up when I can. Hate to burst everyone's bubble but no gameplay videos. We were not allowed to photograph/video in the room, but I do have some video of EAC. GOOD NEWS - We will be getting assets shortly - new screenshots, gameplay video and even a "making of FIFA 09" series. The first will be about 10 min with an uncut 30 minute version to follow. I've heard the series will be about 8 or 9 videos long so look forward to that. I will release stuff as soon as I get it and don't worry, you guys will be the first to know.
Adding to the online thrust of the game is a new matchmaking system that allows players who play without any in-game assists to find one another and a new system for disconnects that - hopefully - discourages plug-pullers, as well. The EA Player Hub will serve as a lobby and a way to view other players, including identifying local players, players that use full manual controls, their “player type”, and of course, their reputation.
Hope everyone who visited pulled them up on the absolutely shocking inclusion of EA Sports logos on kits, looks ridiculous and completely detracts from the authenticity and aesthetics of the game. Yet again it's a case of EA's narcissism winning over authenticity (as with licensed stadiums in Fifa08 having EA Sports banners all over the place, and no I'm not talking about adboards).
I can't imagine them being there during release obviously?
Are you sure about that? Look at the licensed stadiums last year, shocking.
Well I posted a thread on the internal EA forums which we data editors use, hope it gets noticed.
Well, if they have licensed kits it would be moronic adding things and logos to them that aren't originally there. I can't comprehend why they'd do that I guess.
Can you point me to a picture that has the EA logo on the kit? I looked at like 2 pics yesterday to see if I could find the logo but no luck, so I didn't think more of it.
