Roberto Carlos joins Fenerbahçe
Brazilian full back Roberto Carlos is a Fenerbahçe player following an agreement being reached with the player’s agent, Dino Pasalic.
The transfer is announced here on Fenerbahce.org and on FBTV, where Roberto Carlos spoke live on a phone connection, stating that this move is "very important" for him. Carlos said: "I’m very happy to be a Fenerbahçe player next season." Speaking in Turkish, he said: "Fenerbahçe, the greatest! Fenerbahçe, the champions!"
Pasalic, present at the FBTV studio with Vice-President Murat Özaydınlı, said that Carlos had wanted to come to Fenerbahçe last season, but his contract posed an obstacle to the move. "He made a promise to Fenerbahçe last year and Carlos always keeps his promises."
Özaydınlı was notably proud of the signing: "We have transferred a player that conforms to the traditions of Fenerbahçe. Everyone must thank President Aziz Yıldırım. How great it is that today we don’t have too much difficulty in signing players of legendary status."
The Real Madrid defender will be coming to Turkey in the near future for an official presentation.

Parade of Stars
Fenerbahce Fans witnessed a great unique show called ’Parade of Stars’ for the celebration of the 100th year, which took place in Fenerbahce Sukru Saracoglu Stadium. This unique show was produced by the famous Italian artist Valerio Festi, which reflected the history of Fenerbahce by sound, music and light effects.
For more than a year lots of Spanish, Italian and French artists had been working for this great show which reminded everyone of the opening ceremonies of the Olympics.
The show started with the presentation of the Turkish National Flag. After that a lighthouse and the number ’100’ appeared in the middle of the pitch. The artist performed a show about football, the biggest branch of our club. Other branches like basketball, volleyball, table tennis were also represented at the show by lots of artists.
Rutkay Aziz, a Turkish artist, held a speech about Atatürk, Fenerbahce and Fenerbahce’s great history.

In Cologne Rhein Energie Stadium Fenerbahce has won the Turkish Super Cup by defeating Besiktas with the result 2-1. Firstly Deivid cheered up the fans by scoring the first goal for Fenerbahce in the 14th minute. In the 20th minute Bobo scored a goal for Besiktas which made their fans start to hope for a possible victory again. In the 86th minute Kezman’s magnificient goal has determined the ultimate score of the final: 2-1.
Thousands of Fenerbahce fans came to the stadium to support the team and lead them to victory.
With this victory Fenerbahce has won just another cup in its 100th year.

Fenerbahçe SK reached the group stage of the UEFA Champions League with a fine victory in Brussels that meant RSC Anderlecht missed out on a place in the competition proper for the first time in five seasons.
Comfortable win
Already leading 1-0 from the first leg of their third qualifying round tie in Istanbul a fortnight ago, Fenerbahçe ensured they would not fall at the same stage as last year thanks to goals from Serbian striker Mateja Kežman and Brazilian midfielder Alex which gave the Turkish champions a comfortable win against their Belgian counterparts.
Kežman opener
Anderlecht went into the game knowing they needed goals and their task was made all the more difficult just three minutes in after the home team failed to clear a corner and the unmarked Kežman was allowed to finish from close range. The Belgian side now needed to score at least three times and the situation looked as though it was about to worsen still when Alex De Souza had the ball in the net again, only for the referee to give Anderlecht a reprieve following an earlier foul by Kežman.

The home side rallied and were twice unfortunate not to level matters on the night. On 25 minutes Mbark Boussafa's free-kick from just outside the area cannoned back off the crossbar, and seven minutes later Jelle Van Damme was dealt the same fate after connecting with a header. Anderlecht continued to press forward as the second half got under way, but without overworking the Fenerbahçe defence.
Pareja error
With 17 minutes to go the Turkish outfit then put the tie beyond doubt as Alex was presented with the ball following Nicolas Pareja's mistake, running on to seal the home team's fate. yeah Julio Cesar made a several impressive saves, at least one against Alex and two against Roberto Carlos.
You probably deserved more, but in the end it doesn't matter, the thing that matters is that you achieved three points after a very entertaining match, with a great goal too

Deivid does it again for Fenerbahçe
Deivid's free-kick five minutes from time gave Fenerbahçe SK a point at PFC CSKA Moskva that continues their fine start to UEFA Champions League Group G.
Turnaround
On a high from their Matchday 1 defeat of FC Internazionale Milano when Deivid scored the only goal, the visitors led on nine minutes through captain Alex. But not long after the interval some determined running by Miloš Krasić paid off as he levelled and Vágner Love then converted a penalty he had won himself to seemingly cancel out CSKA's opening loss at PSV Eindhoven until Deivid's strongly-hit set-piece crept under home goalkeeper Veniamin Mandrykin.

Both coaches had kept faith with their lineups from Matchday 1, and a repeat of their respective fortunes from a fortnight ago looked possible when the visitors went ahead. Mehmet Aurélio sliced a shot on the edge of the box which Aleksei Berezutski intercepted but skewed his header to his right. Alex, who had begun the move, had wisely continued his run into the area and was in prime position to head past Mandrykin.

CSKA had been the more lively side in the opening exchanges and continued to press after falling behind. Edu did well to cut out a Yuri Zhirkov cross aimed at Vágner Love, and the Brazilian striker came close himself as he burst past two visiting defenders and into the box but shot just wide. Zhirkov was causing plenty of menace down the left and hit the side-netting with a strong effort on the half-hour and Jô also went close with a promising drive. But although CSKA ended the first half 7-0 up in the corner count, the Fenerbahçe defence was holding pretty firm.

In the 8. week of the Turkcell Super League the Turkish champion played against Vestel Manisaspor in Manisa 19 Mayis Stadium. Unfortunately the champion could not defeat Manisaspor and the match resulted in a draw: 1-1.
In the very beginning of the match Fenerbahce footballer Mehmet Aurelio scored a goal with an accurate header, but Manisaspor player Sener got the equaliser in the 10. minute.

In the 8. week of the Turkcell Super League the Turkish champion played against Vestel Manisaspor in Manisa 19 Mayis Stadium. Unfortunately the champion could not defeat Manisaspor and the match resulted in a draw: 1-1.
In the very beginning of the match Fenerbahce footballer Mehmet Aurelio scored a goal with an accurate header, but Manisaspor player Sener got the equaliser in the 10. minute.

All the thrills and spills of this important game were on show and it was Fenerbahce who kept the nerve in tense. From the first minute on Fenerbahce has dominated the game by pressing PSV Eindhoven. As a result of this pressure Fenerbahce managed to score 2 precious goals in 2 minutes which led the champions to the ultimate victory.
The fans had also a great interest on this fantastic game as they created a magnificient atmosphere in Kadikoy to motivate the players.

The captain Alex de Souza, Semih Sentürk and Mateja Kezman scored the precious goals of the game as the Turkish champions Fenerbahce defeated the leader Sivasspor at Sivas 4 Eylül Stadium on Sunday to take over the leadership in Turkcell Super League.
Fenerbahce dominated the whole game by creating lots of clear chances. In the 29. minute the captain Alex's goal made the canaries take the lead at Sivas. Later on Semih and Kezman increased Fenerbahce's lead by scoring three goals.
Despite the cold weather at Sivas Fenerbahce managed to keep up their challenge at the top of the Turkcell Super League with 44 points.
