eFootball PES 2021 Discussion Thread (CONSOLES)

I'm on the fence on spending £25 on the update , rumoured gameplay improvement's most likely will be unnoticeable however the updated kits of licenced teams , master league managers are interesting, but are they £25 worth of interesting? I'm still playing pes 2020 and it's as frustrating and rewarding as ever offline and online . So many gameplay flaws that need to be fixed and for an update Konami say is 99.9% the same game as last year is quite worrying . Anyone else feel the same ?

Maybe wait for a bit and see what people say about it? I've just pre-ordered, but thinking of cancelling already. I jumped the gun whilst I was half-asleep this morning. If I wait until closer to October 22nd, when the roster update hits, the game might be cheaper by then and the purchase might be easier to stomach.

this issue will never get fixed, Defenders dropping deep and facing the wrong way with acres of space to run into, So silly.

I bet gks still stick to their lines like dummies and all free kicks we take end up in the back of the net easily.

Konami don’t care about the game.

Best vid I’ve seen..The cpu AI is crossing,using the long pass and mixing things up..You can see how much more reactive all 22 players are and clearly much better positioned in offense including movement and making runs into space..

Very smooth and polished overall and it looks super responsive..

I think those people that felt pes20 was to clunky and the teamate/cpu AI a little on the unreactive side.Are going to be much happier.Looks really solid on the defensive side too.Penalty awarded to the cpu and collisions and contacts have had some serious polish.

This isn’t just a lazy cash in..I can’t talk for modes but this is clearly superior in so many ways to last years game..I can see a few sitting on the fence picking this up next week..

One of the things I hate most about recent iterations of PES. It’s a huge issue which never gets fixed. Eliminates midfield.

Looks like they updated scoreboard colors. Each league different style. Something like fantasy with realistic colors.

B) It's all AI vs AI matches...
C) They're 30 minute games, which finish with absolutely stupid scorelines (4-0, 6-0), possession stats (72% to 28%) etc...
D) That first game, because it's not a derby, has one foul... In a 30 minute game!!!

Can someone explain why Konami hasn't implemented Seria A anthem to Pes 2021? They have got its league rights so there should be no problem on that side right. It would bring a realistic touch to seria a games

It took me 10 secs to find a video. Look at these Barca attacks, look at 1on1 plays. There is NOTHING like this in modern PES.

Bi-partisan football game comedy, now there's a niche I didn't know I needed. 10/10, excellent work.

I know you already know this, but - just more evidence that AI is now developed with the focus on how it will impact online play, with no consideration for offline play. I don't know if we'll ever get that back.

I agree but I guess the esport pros don’t want a more realistic football experience. Same with the masses. It seems like the masses don’t want (for example) to play around the back forever with a smaller team only to have 2-3 chances on goal vs. a top team.
And the masses bring in the money.

I would surely like that... but I guess it’s not gonna happen.

It’s a “hot dance” to find a middle ground for everyone (without options to choose DP or slider like system). goals, goals, goals and stylish dribblings and flicks... thats what in my head what the masses want! could be wrong.

Pes 2013 AI is much better but the gameplay is so clunky i just can't go back to it.

Like I said ages ago, they should have just collected all the old music from before they started licencing pop songs and thrown it in there... It is a kind of anniversary anyway, and it would have made me buy it instantly!
