eFootball PES 2021 Discussion Thread (CONSOLES)

Do you mean this?

I think this only applies to myClub for players with condition C. It should work differently in offline modes.
Yeah def works differently, that graph says a player with 8 conditioning has no chance of a red down arrow, but I have players with 8 conditioning with red down arrows in Master League.

Haha! Absolutely its creepy. This is typical PES. Yes there is major issues with the game, but u can understand its kinda hard to get certain things good. But what really worries me is all these small issues thats just weird. Like this one....how is it even possible to come with the idea to make a transferpic like that. Somewhere during the work with that pic...someone should think ”maybe this isnt right.....should make him with shirt on or just holding it up”...but no not in PES lol

Exactly my feelings. Baffling. I hate, H. ATE, the naming convention. Sincerely hope it's gone by the next version. When do you ever see names printed like that??

Spot on. It is time to pass their interfaces to the next generation. It's been almsot 15 years since the new platforms can handle more than 16~24 characters in name..lol.. Decaptilize, go like the NBA/FIFA way, full names and given names in player info, and a more compact name inside game namplates, let players have proper bithdates, and not everybody age just in 1st January of every season.

In general things that the "engine" is not an excuse. I've mentioned it again in the past, in either an old NBA Live or NBA 2k, maybe NBA live 2008 or NBA 2K11 or 2K14, i created a fictional player named Johnny SYLVER and there was a text-to-speech recognition technology, the commentator was pronouncing my player SILVER. OK this sounds too revolutionary for PES, but just put there the basics for starters!!!

I created a :BOP:shitty-quality:BOP: tutorial on how to use "BASE COPY" method and give your players proper faces. Just in case it helps anyone.

Hi there.
Can anybody please tell me if we get an extra transfer budget over the budget we had in the previous season at the start or is it just the money which is left with us at the end of the previous season?
I am asking this because I used to play FIFA before switching to PES and in FIFA at the start of a new season we used to get the same transfer budget we got at the start + the leftover one.
Like if I start with Man United, then I had 90 mil every season along with the leftover balance. Does this same happen in PES too?

I think you just get the original balance, and then you get bonus funds for reaching you target placement in the league. Also there is money for winning comps. And ticket sales. This varies between teams. I am not entirely sure if there is some fixed sum you get anyway at the start of the season, but it definitely doesn't reach tens of millions. When you manage a big team, the big cash comes in from selling players.

Okay thanks!

Okay thanks!
The amount of money you receive in FIFA and was supposed to be given to you in 1st of September in older ML, is now being given in small partitions every each game in the current ML.

You must set up your budget Settings, to guide where you want the money to be deposited, like in the guide below.

Also keep in mind that they only 3 ways to receive instantly "big" among of money are:

1. Sell a player (money goes to Transfer Budget mandatory)

2. Receive competition prize money (money goes according to your settings, either Transfer, or wage budget)

3. Receive money from a player's transfer that you had him exactly previously and you had set a "selling on option" when you sold him to a team. When/If that team sells him, you receive your %bonus (money goes either Transfer or Wage budget, according to how you have set the option called "Contract Options Income"

Thank you so much for explaining it in detail! Will keep this is mind when I'm setting up the budget tab.

Also let's say that I play with Man United and set every option to be added to my transfer budget, then will I have the same amount in the next season as I had at the start of the season?

If we assume that you don't buy/sell anyone, you will receive an amount of money to your transfer budget every month.

In small clubs I manage, it is at best 500k € per month, so in Manu it will be bigger.

So concluding all the above, and if you set the contract bonuses, like goal/assist/clean sheet to be paid by wage budget, as it is by default, you will have MORE money.

To explain it less complicated, as I can feel what do you think, forget what you had in your mind about how budget works, in FIFA or previous pes games.

Imagine it a simplistic picture, that you start with 90M€ and after this start you are all alone, every income and every outcome affects straight your two separate budgets. You can't split them like FIFA, you can't mix them.

If we make a hypothetical 3 years cycle that you don't make any moves/loans/renewals/no bonuses and you started with 90M transfer and 20M wage budget, in the end of 3rd season you will end with the same budget + the monthly incomes you will receive in the end of each month + competition bonus end of June, but all are small amounts.

You can check the balance in the beginning of each month, if you go to Budget Report option. It reports you the changes in your budget in previous month.

Ohkay now I have understood how all this works in PES. I asked this because when I used to play FIFA, I had a habit of buying new players every season because I used to get the initial transfer amount every season. It used to be as if I have started a new season (every season).
Thanks again!

Yes I got it. No it doesn't work like this here.
Here is like you turn 18 years old and your parents give you 1.000€ for a fresh start and kick ya in da @$$, telling you "get teh heck outta here and fine a job, you are all alone" :)
Similar case here, sell players and you survive or increase yo budget. Stay conservative and you will just float in the surface, same spot.

Cause as people have reported in forums and reddit, even CL+ you league win, usually gives maximum 10~20M added amount of money, to whichever budget you have choosen.

No club owner or board will come and award you with another 50-60M for example.. :)

This is a really great example to sum up the transfer system in PES!😂😂 Made me laugh so hard

Was playing a fair bit of PES18 last week. Like the fact you can dribble more naturally.

Searched for ages for an OF for PS4 but can't find anything. Too much to edit on my own so went back to PES21.

But, I notched the speed up to +1. Makes a massive difference with regards to dribbling IMO. I played as PSG and Mbappe was just gliding past people. Plus when he got past them, they couldn't catch him up. I've been playing exhibition games to test it and it bares true for most players who have good dribbling. Before I'd be able to beat a player but it's almost like you then get tangled with them and instead of a dribble, it turns into a jostle.

With +1 speed, I'm able to skip past 1, 2, 3 challenges.

Now I just gotta master advanced shooting. Everything is just going over the bar 😂

Scored this one not long ago, liked it quite a bit as it was fast manual passing, and the final shot not to shoddy either. The more eagle eyed of you may have seen that the score is 1-1 after just over 3 minutes, naturally there were no more goals in this particular match :D

PES 2018 is the PES that have the best and more natural movement ever. Dribbling was so natural and intuitive.
To me, the more they speed up animations to decrease the input delay and to increase the burst dribbling, the more unnatural the game looks and feels.

Absoliute agree ! The PES game with best animation to date. Last night, someone Italian guys hosted PES 2018 in Рarsec, so I walked into the room and even with some frame lost and skips, the animations were great. Especially with a high or low pass, dribbling, the transition from animation to animation, everything was .. somehow .. cool, natural and correct. It seems that Konami did it by accident then and now or they can't or don't want to replicate it.

I hope they will not mess up the gameplay in the new DLC. I am having a blast enjoying exhibition and cup modes.
Same here! playing only these two modes. Just wondering how far did you progress in cup modes? I am playing manual on professional and never seem to to pass quarter finals :) ( I play two legged tie group games)

Far be it from me to question the referee, who adjudged these to be two perfectly legitimate tackles by the computer. You'd think at least one of these might have gone to VAR... just saying.

How can the MyClub gameplay constantly change without new updates etc?

I reported on here a couple of weeks ago that I thought the game was brilliant but a couple of days after that it changed to utter crap and a lot of games really laggy as well. I reckon konami like to mess with our heads. Anyway not playing it now as its totally not worth it.

I don't tend to play football games online, but I've been bored of getting frustrated playing against the AI, so I gave it a go.

I had a few games of FUT 21 (next-gen) and really didn't enjoy it, but primarily because every single player I came up against had clearly spent (real) money on their team. There I am with French Ligue 2 players, against (twice in a row) teams containing Ronaldo, Messi AND Maradona. All of them at once.

So I tried myClub 21. First game, I was amazed. Really slow, real strategy in every pass that my opponent hit. He took his time, and so did I. When it finished, we'd had a single shot each, because there was a real midfield battle going on all the time (and you could see how important player positioning was, both my AI players trying to mark, and my own channel-blocking moves).

I thought "wow, I could really enjoy this, who'd have thought it?" Then I played a second game... Against a guy playing a 2-2-6 formation. He would continually just smash the ball 100yds from defence to attack, to a player who would take the ball down perfectly (because I was playing a standard formation with four defenders), turn, and score. Every time my defenders got close to him, I'd try to tackle and they'd seemingly trip, or bounce off him.

People (outside of Evo-Web) tell me I'm a caveman, always playing offline, and that it's a bit sad. Yet there is such a huge part of the community (for both games) that don't really care that much about football and are just playing to win, and it becomes (in FIFA) "who knows the most trick combos and has the most money to spend on packs" and (in PES) "who knows the most exploits" or "who can ping-pong pass the best by just hammering the X button".

But that first game on PES is keeping me interested in trying for a little while longer.
