eFootball PES 2020 Discussion Thread (PC)

I cannot import data from demo. I've created badges and kits for my custom league, MLS and J1-League (replacing the three fake leagues), then I copied the files to ePES2020 folder, but when I load it the game says that the data (system data, image list, edit file) is corrupted. Is possible to fix this or I have to re-do all again?... :ROLL:

You may be copying too many files, so you are overwriting the full game files with demo files (ie. system data)

try coping all the other files except the SYSTEM00000000 one, and see if the same thing happens?

Unfortunately, I copied only the EDIT file but the game still say "Save data corrupted". :((
 
Could someone check if they've given players who who have been added to the database their faces from previous games? Pulisic for example

Put turf CPK in the games download folder,run Baris tool and point it to Your game and the dpefilelist in the download folder,
make sure You select the current correct DLC number, tick the turf pack and click generate.

I had done all of this last year, but couldn't quite remember what tools to use was looking through the tools I had downloaded, including this

unfortunately Pulisic doesnt have one yet, I'm sure it'll come in a DP at some point (likewise Daniel James doesnt have one either)

I was kinda hoping that Dubravka would've had a face by now, but he's still not got one yet.

Ah, that's disappointing but not a huge deal, I'll just have to add it myself. Lucas has made a daniel james face by the way, really good quality. And someone made a dubravka face last year, but it wasn't great.

Im new to PC so clueless about how to adust colours - tried messing with the video settings but that's done fuck all as well.

Surely everyone on PC cant have radioactive grass?

Can anyone help? This is driving me insane. The demos colour was perfect. Why has the full game turned up looking like a pile of radioactive shit?

You can use reshader to desaturate a bit or geforce experience if you have Nvidia carx. Alt f3 in game and it launches his own reshaders
 
Who's having performance problems and Nvidia card, try Nvidia profile Inspector. I posted my settings some pages ago and also another guy posted his settings with default panel. Check pages back

Can confirm live update is out and working with the patch released by the pesuniverse website. Starting a ML however doesn't seem to feature the latest updates and I can't seem to find an option to update other game types to the live update...
The game is growing on me, having played for two days now I think the changes to the dribbling mechanics are worth it and truly refreshing. It takes some practise but for now I don't even need the right stick. You can really make small movements by just using your left stick like feints and the likes. Yesterday I couldn't pass a player for the life of me. Now I am doing it consistently with the better players. I love how lifelike Neymar feels. That's also where my worries shine, I am really worried the guys at konami are going to update the game and make it too easy just because 'maybe' we haven't experienced the live game as we had the demo and are making prejudices which are not really grounded.
 
Just played single game Juve vs Milan on top player, all I can say is AI is just phenomenal, they nailed it after 20 years, at least in this one game I had. The variety of AI play is just outstanding and goalkeepers keep up to the same level.

Having that said, I had a feeling that something is wrong with FPS, while the demo was just perfect, I can't say the same thing about full game, there's just something wrong, it's micro/nano but there's some stuttering.

The most annoying thing re graphics I noticed, was the shadow right under the player feet. From default stadium camera it looked like there's a circle of shadow under the player which looks odd. Anyone noticed that?
 
I normally don't like to complain about stuff with PES but Konami really need to work on how they do squad updates. It's great that they have added loans this year but I don't understand how Turan's loan and some other minor player loans are in the game but Coutinho's (arguably one of the more memorable summer moves) is missing.

I may be missing something, so apologies if I'm jumping the gun but he isn't listed as being on loan when you start a Barca career and you buy unlike Turan. Anyway, there are other loans that haven't been included yet, so I'm sure it will be rectified in another live update but I'm a little disappointed with that.

Konami puts in so much work with a lot of other stuff and then they seem undercut themselves with fumbling the easy stuff.

Sorry, just catching up on the thread, so apologies if you've solved this.
I've not played yet, but I had a similar issue last year (144hz freesync QHD on a GeForce card). The solution then was to set vsync in Nvidia control panel for the game to adaptive (half) and set the in-game framerate cap to 30fps. Super smooth and stopped the camera pan frame-drops.

what do you mean? shouldn't that be downloaded automatically in steam?

BTW I noticed we got now video settings in system settings, wow it was not in previous PESes. All was set to medium like turf etc, I set it to high and now it looks good ;)
