Thanks I tried this , unfortunately it did not work for me. I still get some lagging and stuttering , especially when there is action in the box. I did not change it globally but just for PES, but doubt that has any difference

If You have Radeon enhanced sync enabled, try turning it off.

I tried to minimize the settings, but it is still running on 100%. And normally it shouldn't be a problem to run the game on highest settings.
So, why is PES using all my CPU usage? Would be very thankful if someone could help me :)

You need to play plugged-in (not on battery)
 
Hi guys has something changed regarding player purchasing in master league since the last update?

Im in 3rd season after winning Championship and Premier League so everything going good but no matter who I go for and change the negotiation settings, the sports director comments at the bottom right of screen do not change at all: -

Hes not convinced his role at our club will be the right one. If we really need him, you need to handle the negotiations with care.

I can max out every negotiation and still doesnt change. Bare in mind this happens if I go for any rated player 90 all the way down to 60. According to the director even though I have 248,490 salary budget I cant attract a player with a salary of 3000.

But then the opposite happens with the players that have been scouted, for all of them the sports director says: -

He would welcome a move to the club, where he will be given a more significant role.

Now in this scenario no matter what I offer, the sports director comment will never change. Even if I offer the lowest possible.

It seems the sports director comments are broken for me. The players will join or not join as they should, but the comments no longer change dynamically to help me out. So if I offer low or high wages the comment doesnt change. This has only started happening since new update as far as I can see unless its always been like this and Ive never picked up on it.

Thanks I checked and it was already off. Its not very annoying as it was before when you suggested another fix. Stuttering is still there no matter what quality graphics I put. Ill keep trying with radeon settings. I wonder if its my Ryzen 1400... but doubt it as I can run other graphical intensive games with no problem
 
Run the game. Alt tab and open task manager. Open details tab and right click on pes. Set affinity. Untick the last two cpu. Should smooth out the stutter. Mine also runs very high CPU intensity. I’m on gigabyte aero 15 with the same card as you
 
*rant* I've played 127 hours in 2020 so far and I can honestly say 99% of that time is because of mods, especially gameplay mods (Thank You @incas36, @bromi and everyone who makes this game fun to play).

When you play the vanilla version of this game it is such an awful game. A lot has been said about the increased amounts of scripting in the game to the point that the game is not even trying to hide it, feeling sometimes only a couple of steps from the just adding a goal for the AI Opponents to the scoreboard (slight exaggeration ;) ).

I am now of the mind that gameplay features Konami add are included solely be able to script different areas of the game. Take auto jostle for instance, its automatic rather than button based so that they can increase its effectiveness for the AI (outright ignoring stats i.e. strength) and reduce the effectiveness / turn it off for the player.

But my biggest gripe is they take some of the control away from the player which for me is a terrible way of increasing challenge and just an awful design decision (who thought that it would be acceptable reducing player control, in a game that cheats most of the time anyway, as a fun way to increase challenge). Having scripts that when on make the players team pass closer to the opponent for long periods of the match or reduce the speed of the players players to allow the AI team to tackle (perfectly) and/or get up and to the ball after a collision first. This is most evident when you play a pass to one of your players but press the pass button again before it gets to them for a first time pass and instead of the ball being passed or a random collision when the ball reaches the second player there is a small delay in the animation or the animation is slowed down to allow the AI team to simply make a perfect tackle.

And this is where Pes is losing me. I think we can all agree that the best thing about games we love is that they are fun to play. Now fun in a game can mean something different to everyone e.g. mechanics, challenge, theme, gameplay loop but honestly pes vanilla 99% of the time is just frustrating and as soon as one of the many scripts kick in it can be nye on unplayable. Konami have taken the road that myclub money is the road for them over stat based and fun gameplay for us Master League (thats a rant for another day) players, this to me is very sad.

Holy moly, I thought it was just me. Now, I have what most would consider a decent gaming laptop (well it was about 1 year ago - since all the updates with the 2080ti cards etc), and certainly something that can play pes2020 flawlessly (Demo - I only have the Demo atm and this is the version im playing) - which it does for the most part. But.. every so often I get this sudden slowdown in frames.. from butter smooth at 60fps, to a huge drop in frames of about 10fps for about 10seconds or so. Yes that's how long it takes to get back to normal. Very off putting to say the least.. happens every few games. So firstly I thought it was heat issues.. ie. my laptop just got too hot after playing an hour so.. which it shouldn't (since its well ventilated and I turn fans way up). Then I checked the cpu while playing, and suprisingly it often goes to 100%.. so I reckon this is the cause of the slowdown... but how the hell should my gaming laptop be doing this... like its just too much for the cpu or something is working in the background (which it isn't.. I checked).

do you have in Windows power option maybe power savin option on?
or in nvidia control panel under 3D settings "optimal power" instead of "maximum power"?

Thanks, ill check. Im pretty sure its on optimal but ill check again. And look at nvidia settings.

I do obviously keep the laptop connected to power chord while gaming..ie. for max gpu performance.

Guys, I got a solution which works for me. Install Rivatuner Statics Server and cap the fps to 60. The reason why you machines are going wild is that there is no fps cap in PES so you'll find out that your game will run between 200 and 600 fps depending on pc configuration.

Get RTSS, add the PES exe and use the settings in the attached image and it will work just fine. My CPUs and GPUs usage rate dropped from 100% to about 50%.

i am also playing all my games with limit to 59.980, because i have a 60hz TV, so more FPS doesnt really make sense, all very smooth, every game

Yeah, I got a 240hz display and I know I should be playing it at 240fps for full effect but I'd rather have my laptop last for a couple more years than using it at 100% for no reason.

I agree, PES 2020 is, sadly and strangely, one of the worst for me. It's simply no fun at all as I feel that no matter what I do the game will, one way/script or another, ensure that I concede a goal and lose. Bloody shame given that I really liked the demo. Now it can go weeks without me even entertaining the thought to play this script-infested abomination of a game, and every time I do I quit after maybe 15 minutes and feel an immediate urge to go and rant here instead :BOP:
 
I recently played my first Matchday final, fantastic game won on penalties and after scoring an equaliser in the 94th minutes. Class online game, if anyone wants too watch it, full match here:

"maybe this time it will work" I thought to myself as I started the game. I had a few hours for myself before the festivities were supposed to start and thought I'd give the game another go, perhaps I'd just been unlucky last night?

And would you look - it played fine and I was 2-0 up against Real Madrid! I was in complete control of the game and truly enjoyed the occasion! Should have been 3-0 up if it wasn't for some of Konami's scripting. Was perhaps a Xmas miracle in the making? 🎅 No it wasn't!

Suddenly, around the 80th minute, my players started to misplace passes for no apparent reason, the ball going in a complete different direction from where the stick on my gamepad was pointing, giving my opponent counter-attack after counter-attack; and within six minutes my team had conceded three quick goals in succession and yet another game was lost.

Can someone tell me how to map stadiums for club world cup and European super cup in my master league?
If you can provide the text i need for the 'map competitions' config file then i would really appreciate it.
 
Can i select which teams are continuing to the europa league from the champions league when i am playing the europa via the cup mode? Because by default the teams are lyon, marseille, leverkusen, milan, ajax, everton, dortmund(or blookrows by default) and napoli. Now i want psg, tottenham, shakhtar, leverkusen, genk, inter, leipzig and lille. Can i pick them instead of the default ones?
