Guys come on to be honest, the same shit show like ever year... Ive known this battle is lost as Robey Ron in the Stream talked about the BT speaker... The menu look exactly the same, the cutscenes look exactly the same. We know what we expected and for Shure nobody is surprised in a positive way... Yeah you can for Shure rename the brand but than you have to deliver !!!! And they don't.... Same story as every year. This livestream was a total desaster. Really sorry for all who except something new and big. After this presentation iam Shure new engine and new concept with new social media managers is so overdue... If FIFA improved their shitty gameplay iam of this sinking ship and jump in the rescue boat, this was not a good day for old-school pro evo fans... :(

Don't think he said they have fixed it,but he mentioned the cheating AI,and that it exist,and they've put work in on that.
Haven't really heard that from any gaming co before.

That's all awful even by the standards I was prepared for. And they were already pretty low. I don't know what to say.

Last year was bad but after all of this I feel like I'm watching the true beginning of the end for the saga, from the trailer today to the re-branding into this atrocious eFootball thing for finishing with the sad streaming of tonight.

Meh.

Seabass himself admitted it many years ago..something along the lines of "the cpu sometimes gets a little extra help" - it was obvious what he meant.

But the cpu cheating in 19 was so utterly blatant and such a game-killer that I wouldn't go near 2020 unless it was reduced. They won't "fix" it - it's absolutely embedded in their approach to programming AI - but they'll hopefully at least tone it down. Adam's words around this were encouraging - suggesting that players with poor stats may no longer get as big a stat boost. Time will tell....
 
Well, i never had idea to buy it in the first place, i was always waiting for your opinions after release, but i'm always interested and expecting a miracle. Honestly i don't know how someone could find what they showed as interesting and a HUGE upgrade after Pes 2019.

When even KONAMI official speaker says:"well, there are differences, i swear, it's not the same as Pes 2019" you know the game is going to be exactly the same with some tweaks here and there same old story we are witnessing since Pes 2015.

Add this to the HUGE master league improvements they promised that are "so huge" they didn't even show them in their official announcement except for some fancy cutscenes and i'm already done with the hype.

Also, Adam saying on stream:"don't worry, next build is going to be so much better" really depressed me.

One last thing: where is the amazing new replay system they were talking about? It's exactly the same as last year and when Messi kicked the free kick on the flank the replay didn't even show the complete ball trajectory. At one point it just disappeared because it was out of focus.

Pes is so stuck in the past it hurts. They need a series reboot. Some cosmetic changes, some tweaks here and there, some fancy additions to Master League aren't going to keep it alive for long. But honestly i think KONAMI doesn't really care, as long as they can keep milking people with Myclub.

Sorry to be so negative but i see i'm not the only one here.

Yeah,can't remember Seabass saying it,but for a modern company game in this day and age,you know NHL/FIFA/2k/NBA live they wouldn't touch that subject.
Me to,I can't play Pes 19,it's completely bizarre in that regard,so fingers crossed it's toned down to at least Pes 17 level,I can take that,no worries.
 
It is disappointing. All the things I can't stand anymore are still there. Perfect passes, no midfield, easy goals without effort. This game simply has no more depth. Everyone can play it well because you only have to press buttons.

I was hoping for more. I guess singleplayer will be a desaster again because i don't think they have improved the AI.

Its time to understand that this game is a fun game for children. It's not a football game it just look like this. It's a modern version of Pong (the first videogame) designed as a football game.

Really. Look at the goals they scored. How man times have we seen this kind of easy skillless goals? Its just uninspired
passing until you are near the box. Soulless and so boring. So easy. If you score this kind of goals you feel nothing. I hate this goals.

Let's see what the next days will bring. Today was disappointing.
 
I liked the trailer.
Don't know what to say about the life stream.
Checked in for a couple of minutes and seen some gameplay footage.
A couple of new animations here and there.
That's all I saw to be honest.

I'm still having fun with my modded PES 2019, thx to the great modders out there!
Need to get hands on the demo and then I hope modders can put their hands on that one too.

Did you notice Adam said he didn't have enough time to play with the demo and yet during his first match he managed to score that Barcelona goal with perfect passes? Yeah.
Pes doesn't require skill anymore. Just put it on max assistance and that's it. The assistance will make you seem like a Pes expert.

Yes. That is how it is. Everybody can score easy goals in PES you don't need skills and you don't need to understand football. Maybe when it comes to defending you need some knowledge about this sport but scoring? No. Everybody can pass it around and will come to some easy goals because the game is designed like that. Damn, you just need two passes to reach the box.

It's the all the same game again. Sure ML will be with all the respawn young players and all that.
I wish we could help starting up a new footie game, PES is done
 
Kits look like dirt. In times when every professional has their top slim fitted and basically stuck to their body, they create baggy shirts that look 3x times too big and with literal creases on them. It looks like the sleeves in the Barca top clip into the body as well. Mad

If that's at PA1, like i think it is (because they didn't change the passing assistance setting and default is PA1) that is even worse. Imagine how on rails and assisted PA3 must be.

Espimas, you are back! I was sad when Konami let you go. And thought it was weird when they changed your name very slightly
 
Just read all 20 pages. Nothing changes.
So glad I no longer own a console and am not having to go through this shit again!
 
From the stream at 37:49 on-wards they talk about how theirs a 3 year plan for master league,Adam said 19 had small improvements and this year we are going to improve on "an incredible scale" for PES 2020

From what what I have seen from the website and all the new features its a bit of a piss take to be honest.

Interactive Dialogue scene - is most likely just a copy of Fifa's career mode negotiations scene, which is a pain in the arse as its just slow and boring, also cut scenes are dull and repetitive.

More Realistic Transfers - Of course welcome it but we won't find out how good this "overhaul" is until tested which based on the past Id be amazed they make it more realistic.

Improved Manager Models - While its nice to see graphical improvements and the more customisation the better, I don't think fans are that fussed about having a 3d version of themselves as a manager, if the 3D scanning technology is really good I hope they have added this for Player customisation.

Customizable Sponsor Logos - Great stuff, more of this the better, the game should have as customisation as possible and its something we have been requesting since PES 6!

I am hoping theirs more news and features, but basing on past releases with PES I would be incredibly surprised. So yeah if this is the "improvement on an incredible scale" then I will most likely give this PES a miss just like 19.

Also bloody hell that stream, what a shambles! Painful listening to Adam and the other guy. The 2 chaps need to improve on presenting themselves.
