I just created a new save on ps4 like 3 weeks ago (my main account is on steam) and I'm completely f2p and thanks to the free players they give I already have a competitive team. You just need to get your daily rewards mate. What people don't talk about is how this game isn't inviting for new players when it first launched you could feasibly build a competitive team with gp by just buying normal players and upgrading them but that every team is filled with 98 overall players the GP market players are basically useless. It doesn't help that there's no online marketplace to sell and buy players that you don't need anymore. With EAFC teams reset every year so it's easy for new players to start and be competitive meanwhile because of the live service model new players in Efootball with have a 78 rated Ben White going against 102 rated Pele and immediately rage quit. This sort of garbage used to be restricted to freemium mobile games but now every game requires you to pull out your credit card for stupid virtual currency. And of course the currency packs are weirdly priced they never tell you how many coins one player is worth and it's locked behind casino slot machine mechanics with hidden odds so you never end up with the player you want just pull out your credit card buy some fake coins and spin and you might end up with end level 105 rated Messi or 75 rated Harry Maguire. How I wish the EU would adopt what Belgium did and ban this gambling loot box trash.
you can use them as dream team base teamsAny idea why there's fake German teams listed on PESMaster? They all have a manager listed but no players... Have i missed something lol

Ahhh ok thanks for the answer. I've never played Dream Team. So that explains it.you can use them as dream team base teams
Not to smash any ones dreams but you would need the licenses of that time which I am pretty sure would be very hard to do. So chances of that happening are 0.5 percent.o7 Salute to my fellow gamers.
I didn't know if I should make a thread for this or not, but I know that the people here want a good PC football simulation.
So, I stumbled on a GOG dreamlist page for one of the true greats.. WE6 Final Evolution!
https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/world-soccer-winning-eleven-6-final-evolution-2002
The dreamlist is a list of old games that GOG is considering porting to PC!!
It's only got 52 votes at the moment, which is a bit sad. So if you use the GOG platform, sMaSh tHaT vote BuTToN!!
P.S thanks to the player-1_gog on GOG, if you are here, for suggesting this classic gem of a game.
As long as it is into the analogic trigger, you can control the force that's applied. Besides you have to find the proper moment to use it.Does anyone use that useless shoulder barge? Everytime i use it, I give away a foul and get booked? Am i missing a trick 😂
I Hope power Rangers Next oneHopefully thomas the tank engine next!
The final form of Efootball who cares about football formations just have attackers everywhere on the pitch.
This would be more appropriate in the Retro PES thread but this is still pretty awesome, I didn't know GOG ported obscure games to PC, PES 2/WE6 doesn't exist on PC so would be awesome if we can get it there and patch it!o7 Salute to my fellow gamers.

It's business. As long as they make money, they don't care about legacyIt really hurts what they did and do with former PES. And Coinami celebrate it too. Unbelievable! Ridicules! Konami you are Fools.
Sorry for getting personal here. But I just had to get that off my chest.
They certainly didn't peak in PES 6 as that game arguably has worse shooting mechanics than PES 5, sure you can score some great goals but 6 has this issue where lots of shots inexplicably rise even when tappingso - does anyone else think the shooting mechanics peaked in PES6? It's hard to describe but every game since PES 08 has lacked oomph. I don't know if it's the animation or the physics, but it's deeply unsatisfying.
That finesse shot animation where the player falls over while shooting has always disturbed me but the way PES handles animations has always been better than fifa where the players feel like they have no weight or joints. They certainly didn't peak in PES 6 as that game arguably has worse shooting mechanics than PES 5, sure you can score some great goals but 6 has this issue where lots of shots inexplicably rise even when tapping. 2010, 12 & 13 all had fantastic shooting & ball physics on the Konami legacy engine. Once the game came to Fox, from 2017 onwards the ball physics and shooting got even better each year really & probably peaked with 2021 giving us a great variety of shooting outcomes that weren't really present before such as dipping & rising shots which were introduced in 2019.
However I agree that the lack of oomph tends to be influenced by shooting animations not always correlating with the produced shot, there's this horrible finesse shot animation that looks weak that often generates more power than it should that gives this unsatisfying feeling as an example, another is some penalty kicks look like they could penetrate a bulletproof wall with a casual kicking animation that doesn't make sense but those are more contextual issues than anything else really.
Is that really so? The ball physics may be better, but there is almost no variety. 9 out of 10 shots are hard and on the goal. There are almost never shots, that miss the goal very far. There are almost never weak or misshit shots, where the ball just rolls on the ground or the ball flies into the sky etc. See in a normal offline game that makes sense for those unpredictable moments to happen but if your 105 rated messi that you spent 500 dollars in coins to buy mishits a ball then that's not fair it doesn't make sense for an esports game to have inconsistent results like that if your timing is perfect then you should be rewarded. I have ben saying for years that offline and online gameplay needs to be separated and this year EAFC is doing it finally. Is that really so? All things that were in the game until PES 13.
