eFootball (All Platforms)

I'm gonna say something you won't like.
This (efootball) is a fantastic game of football on the pitch, equal (or even better) than any other i played before. It just lacks the whole of the package but, you know, they give it for free.
I love to play with my lesser team (2700 points average) against 3000+ teams and beat them playing proper football. Of course it can be frustrating when Romario steals the ball and runs like he never did in real life but, this is a game, and again, for free. Enjoy men (and women), life is short.
Its for free we are not allowed to criticize

I don't think Konami are familiar with the "life is short" phrase. We'll be long gone by the time Master League returns at this rate.

Well I guess this sums up the current state of the game. I do wonder though if the console players boycotted this wouldn't Konami seriously just consider going mobile only.

yes they did but it's a bit different from their perspective, i heard it's like this.. "life is too short, gimme money" lol

Life is short... so please, I encourage you to waste it entirely on eFootball coz' it's all for free !!! Don't go outside, don't get a gf, just play this rich story finance driven fantasy like never before... you can role play in the skin of a manager lord called the "master of coins" to fully enhance your retinue... if you don't have coins left, don't panic: you can adjust more units with your bank account, coz' the rest of the game is free !!! Also don't forget to check those juicy colorful discounts; 10/10 hands down, the most immersive squad city builder ever made !!! 😍

They still have game that could sell milions of copies on PS5 and PC if they just package it for offline ... and keep online stupidity for idiots who spend montly wage on Messi virtual cards.

Does anyone know how many versions of Messi are in the game? I swear there's at least 10 with minimal stats difference as well.

I doubt it tbh. That's why we have eFootball in the first place. Whilst Fifa 19 sold over 10 million, PES 2019 barely sold 1 million. Sales falling every single year since 2007

Yeah, but they could not release game for sale in its 2022 state.

Today its mostly playable, and they have offline content ready (myLeague or how its called).

Add master league (copy-paste from pes 2020) ... and thats it ... 3-4 months of work to release game for 50$ on PC and PS5.

Easy earn 30-50 milion.

You do realize there is a competitor with more licenses and marketing power?

And who should be that 30-50 million in sales?

Former Pes players? They wouldn't accept Copy and Paste Master League.

Other Football fans? They buy EA Sports FC which has more licenses and content.

They would never earn 30 to 50 million with the current game in the current market as a 50 dollar title. Especially since one of the reasons they went free2play was that PES wasn't selling good enough anymore for them.

I dont agree ...

Former PES player plus few new ones would give them those 30-50 milions.

I think they dont want to do it, because they believe (wrongly) that those players now are playing online with that casino-cards-etc ... and they would stop playing(gambling) if offered something offline.

But they are wrong, football-sim-offline-casual market still exists in my opinion. And those people are not spending they hard-earn cash on cards-gamblig-online things ... they just wanna plan 2-3 hours weekly-normal games, without crazy yelling kids online with 10 Messi in their squad.

And other football fans they lost to EA and very likely won't come back.

If you then take into account license costs, marketing costs and more, plus the percentage stores take: it is too big of a gamble.

What they should do is keep the Free2play concept and offer a seasonal master league either as DLC or a Season pass for around 10-20 Dollars.

Don't know where you're pulling 30-50 million from tbh. The majority of players will be mobile players. On Steam, the highest number of players are one time was 21,249. Usually averaging 13,000 I would say. Times by ten for consoles, lets say, there's 130,000 each, so 260,000 over PS5 and XSX.

It annoys me so much they grabbed the license for J.League and Liga MX for this game. I wish they could've grabbed them for PES 2021.

(If they want to release something physical, make it like PES 2024 (or 2025) Season Update, which would be just PES 2021 with all the 'graphical' and gameplay updates)

i wish it's that easy, lol

there's a reason why konami stopped physical copy of PC since pes 2019. Hell, PC DVD release is pretty much useless unlike console release cause there's nothing in it, just product key to download from steam.

What they should do is keep the Free2play concept and offer a seasonal master league either as DLC or a Season pass for around 10-20 Dollars.

Aint no way they sell it for 20, pes 2021 was $30 at release and that was just bunch of minor updates. The sad part is i will keep buying it, lol

My main problem is the game installation. I don't want them to override my old version of the game with new one ( just like today's releases ) i want them to keep separated just like pes 20 & pes 21.

I see nothing wrong, it's just how united play these days, lol

I'm quoting myself here, after today's performance i'm convinced not even magic ball physics could save united from defeat

I'm sorry but I'm gonna go in on a rant here. If he likes the game, fine. I have no issues with people liking this game despite it looking like a complete mess. But to call for a boycott NOW after all these years of playing the game and streaming the game on your channel is fucking ridiculous. He should've waged this boycott back in 2022. Nothing's changed since the April 2022 update. Apart of a few things here and there, some gameplay tweaks, overall, the game is still the same as it was when it came out in September of 2021. Since then, folks like Spoony sat there on his ass hyping up this game post the April 2022 update, doing tutorials, buying packs, doing pack reviews, doing live steams of update 3.6.5 blah blah blah suck my dick, making comparisons with PES 21 pertaining to ball movement and player positioning, and whole host of other shit related to Efootball and now he's fed up? Bro, where the fuck have you been all this time? He and other big PES content creators could have used their platforms to call out Coinami a few years ago WHEN IT MATTERED.

And WTF is a one day boycott gonna do? As the English always say, DO ME A FAVOR!
He, Barry and all the other content creators bought into Coinami's bullshit and they can no longer continue with this charade. When I boycott a game, one thing I don't do is play the game for x amount of hours while ignoring some of the biggest issues with said game and upload the content on to my channel. Here's what will happen: He'll take the day off. Have a wank and come back next week and do more gameplay tutorials for this shite.

The game was never perfect, although I was disappointed with the lack of content (ML, CO-op..) the gameplay was enjoyable even if not perfect.

even the gameplay isn't good anymore, what's left?
and I specify that I have good results, I do not say that after defeats, I take almost no pleasure in it, and it is worrying to see a game regress

Have you seen all the boycot started today against playing efootball at least for today? @SpoonyPizzas I fear this is useless. Have you seen financial reports from the last 3 months? Konami gained 530 millions of dollars in profit in just 3 months! What would you think they will change? Nothing, its business and they are earning a lot lot of money with this model business based on cards and efootball is more profitable than ever. If you wanted to start an action against this garbage game all community should have done that 3 years ago with the end of PES and the start with eshameball which was off for 6 months because the launch was embarrasing. Nothing will change and this boycot comes too late and for just one day? It has nothing to do against millions and millions of daily asian mobiles players playing efootball everyday and spending more than ever. Its sad yes but we can not fight against that. We do not have voice as community and things are gonna stay like this forever. Its shamefull and its over the end of football games including ea sports and UFL. Its all about money and not quality anymore and we are a part of their business. They see us as wallet walkers with credit banks and not fans of football. I repeat its over the end of the football as we know it in gaming industry and we have nothing to do about that.

now the trend is to boycott, I have been doing it for a long time 😁

Unfortunately, until they separate the mobile game from the console/PC game, it will continue like this...

Bit late in the day for boycotting, you tubers, content creators and spoiled brats with daddies credit card are to blame for the state of the game.

The whole 'spoiled brats' dig is a lazy one that ignores the plenty of adults with their own credits cards pouring money into myCareer in nba 2k, ultimate team in EAs games, and dream team in eFootball, as well as other games.
