eFootball (All Platforms)

Just another gimmick name. They've been using these marketing names for years, the animations is still going to be crap and very arcadey with no respect for physics.
Hypermotion is animation based on real life, real life capture, that's all. Before animations were done with motion capture.

A considerable effort is heading towards the motion capture of the face and body movements starting from the videos, a technology that will not only give us a greater volume of animations, but also much more organic and natural results: as much as the animations acquired with the traditional motion capture process in the studio are of a good standard, these are achieved using markers and props which can sometimes hinder natural movement. Being able to capture the movements of athletes "in their natural environment", especially with regard to sports titles, is a very attractive goal.

This can be a gamechanger, and bring FIFA to new next-gen era.
I doubt it, though... EA wouldn't dump all its animation library

"Powered by Football"

Is this a new engine? Hearing about the Hypermotion technology for animations makes me think so..

It reminds me of FIFA 14 on Next-Gen (PS4 / Xbox One) Launch. Where they said graphical improvements, and many more animations and varieties.
I mean if it is a similar case then all I can hope is the gameplay is also as good / similar to FIFA 14.. infact I read somewhere on a tweet that it said "People who played the beta reported that crossing and headers are overpowered...." This reminds me of FIFA 14, but I will continue hoping that it's a good game.

Graphically, from that picture in the thumbnail , it looks like FIFA 21 to me, no different
Maybe 8K sweat droplets now on players?

It's marketing talk. They say the same thing every other year.

They made a big splash about changing to Frostbite too and how it enabled much better animation and whatever, when you look at what actually happened it turns out the animation became even less realistic.

It will happen really soon, 3-4 years I would say until first games with it.

It would be interesting to see difficulty level being adjusted, you could basicly just slow down algorithm, or give it less neurons for each difficulty level.

Yes, could also train different models by making them watch different playstyles, leagues etc giving potentially vastly more variety and realism

Only 2 words, #fix_autoblocks! (or is it 3 words? :) )

UPDATE: Holy fak, i also confused the topics!! Took it for FIFA 22 topic.. :D :BYE::PIG:
UPDATE 2 : I won't delete the post, i'll leave it as it is, cause looks funny guff! :SNACK:

UPDATE 3: Ok since it's about PES , #Dont_fix_autoblocks :JAY::CALM::!

That will be in begging, after some time, it will happen in real time. Network will be trained while you are playing.

But, on other side. I belive football games will be last to adopt these things. Probably neural network AI will begin in strategy games, after that shooters, and at the end in sport games.

But, when it comes to animations, I think it will be like general engine based thing, like sound or shaders. And ofcourse, it will come earlier, maybe in few months with FIFA22 (we need to se how much will it be in this announced techology)

I was saying about this before, seems to be ideal. My only worry is the potential for the code to then be difficult to tinker with. My (extremely) limited understanding of neural networks in other applications is that what's going on under the hood becomes a sort of black box.

Impressive How people Care so much about who Will be on the cover.

We had a referee as the cover in one of the best game in the franchise history. No one used to Care that much before social media
It’s exactly why PES and other football games are no longer a product for either the football purist or a certain age range (20-25+ onwards) it’s simply a new generation of kids that holds the bulk of the market…….that’s where it’s aimed at and that’s why you will not see a game that plays like a simulated version of the real deal…..kids want skills, impossible goals (and lots of them)
