eFootball (All Platforms)

One of the reasons eFootball is so good, imo, is that we have critical community representatives who always give it to Konami straight – like a pear cider made from 100% pears. An honest and meaningful feedback loop is thereby created, ensuring Konami understand relevant concerns that the community raises. In turn, we get changes to the game to rectify the issues we identify.

That's why it just fills me with warm, gooey feelings when Konami engage with our representatives in purely good faith by sending them limited edition t-shirts and 12k coins to spend. They really deserve it, and it underscores the innocent and healthy relationship between them – and ultimately between Konami and us.

Do you know what I mean?

It really warms the cockles, I must say.
oof brutal hahaha

It seems like Konami have put most of the effort in a trailer for this one. Miles better than the Official Reveal Trailer.
Same goes for a game mode, same goes for what kind of audience they need. It is over guys. You know why right?

I know this is the case when they released the Official Reveal Trailer last year. That's why I just watch you guys talk here in this thread rather than commenting something. Because, it's simply useless.

One day holiday here in germany, will test a bit more. Have fun.
Schönen Feiertag!
Only in West Germany 😉
But not you. No such celebrations in order!

Body collisions and duels are tweaked, bodies interact better and more realistically. For me it was a major flaw.
Also, I felt the gameplay more smooth and players plant their feet better on the field.
I enjoyed this 10min match a lot.
So according to this, the gameplay has no changes.

Good on you for acknowledging nothing has changed and chalking it up to placebo, but: look how confidently you wrote about what has been tweaked before. People do this all the time and it blows my mind. They don't allow themselves time with a game before boldly proclaiming very specific changes. They don't wait and see whether what they experience is just the normal variance in play you get across sessions. In the past, you've claimed that Konami have ruined the game, restored it to former glory, ruined again, etc. Maybe it would help just to sit with it for a bit before deciding lol.

AND I'M SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE THAT THAT'S A COINCIDENCE AM I?

I must say thanks as I've just remembered I'm seeing him next week and I've almost double booked myself!
Pure coincidence mate! No idea what you're on about, but have fun seeing this person next week.

Konami says they have not made any gameplay changes but if there are any graphical changes such as collision outcomes or animation cycle or such things they will certainly have an impact on the gameplay. So changes may not have been gameplay related but the changes may have an impact on gameplay.

So, the right question is not whether Konami has made gameplay changes or not. The right question is has the gameplay changed (could be due to any of the changes in the patch).

How very FIFA-esque of them, every change has a consequence.

They do actually expect You to ride out weeks/months of changes be it good OR bad end result, sheesh.

well, I still feel collisions to be a bit better, but my reasonable thinking say that Konami would have included it in the log.
As for my previous statements, I really liked the innovation of v0.9, without saying it was perfect. I focused on the new approach.
Now game is much more playable of course, but I miss those close dribbling animations and the overall smoothness.
Yes a lot of things needed to be fixed, and still do, but it was something fresh and innovative.
At this time, I still think it is the best option for football game gameplay-wise.
Pes 2021 feels too stiff and obsolete to me and FIFA 22 fails miserably to remind me of the real sport.
But above all of these, it's just my opinion.
PS: I tend to get overexcited sometimes :)

It's not uncommon for a company to silently fix-tweak-amend things regarding their products without disclosing to customers. For many reasons, like they don't want the focus to be on a certain issue especially if the fix is not a complete elimination of the original issue. Or they want to test if community notice the change and/or like it or dislike it.

Car companies do it all the time for example from year to year in a certain model generation.

What is this gibberish? Collision outcomes and animations are gameplay not "graphical" changes

Fucking hell.

Oh dear look at all the copium in the comments. Hard to believe that this awful "game" already has "stans" willing to defend it at all costs

This trailer doesn't actually tell me anything, It's just a slide show of players cards with no real context?

It's so... Bizarre from a conceptual standpoint. Of course I understand the basic premise of Dream Team anyway but if wasn't familiar with the series, I'd see that trailer and say "Ok, but... What are you trying to sell me and why do you want me to play?"

It literally explains nothing

Then you have the Season 2 Trailer which makes me laugh because it advertises teams you can't even p[lay as offline lmao.

You have to wait until they launch their themed online campaigns that allow you to play as them for the week and even then, you're locked in as one team for the period. Again, LOL
