eFootball (All Platforms)

Appreciate your perspective, but people have been playing the series for more than 20 years and all these years, the game has never been a 'diversionary kick-about'. It has always been more than that. There is a lot of emotional investment in the series and that I can understand the feeling of betrayal.

Played them for over 20 years too, buddy 👍

Big world out there. Lots for me to see and do. Have a career, voluntary work and a family to boot.

It has always been diversionary somewhat; a hobby for which I have passion for, but not a way of life and not something I will allow to impact my mood negatively.

Couple of more matches on this there.

Sorry, but I like it.

I do see the whole "it is nothing but a glorified demo" posted a lot (not necessarily on here) and...

Yep, it is. So I will be treating it like one. That doesn't need to mean it is bad (or that it is complete goodness) just that I will treat it like one until more substantive content arrives. That could be Dream Team surprising me/hooking me, or it could involve that longer wait for single player content that I desire. I can barely muster up the energy for frustration or cynicism, never mind anger.

Others will differ with their take and I do hope if they are frustrated (particularly regarding lack of single player content) and do have the energy I don't for unloading on Konami publicly to make their feelings known then it maybe comes to something that benefits all.

As for me though I'm in the odd position of quite liking it but treating it for what is, which is just a diversionary kick-about at the moment.

I, personally, do have a limit as to how far I am willing to get annoyed or frustrated by something before I need to check myself and conclude "It is only a videogame/demo/whatever".
Aren't you just the better man! Bravo!

Downloaded for 3rd time and then deleted , it's painful.
yeah finally deleted here. hated myself for getting the one more game feeling with what i thought was frustrating and terrible alas i finally stopped feeling it so can safely delete

Gameplay looks good now... but not game modes? No modding scene? Just friendly matches for offline players? Thanks but no way

I am incredibly happy that they have the USL league (second division of USA) in the game but there is absolutely no point in playing with these teams as it is not realistic.

This is absolutely lazy development from Konami given that they are still using generic stadiums from PES 2018!! Are they seriously expecting us to play with these new leagues in Sports Park for the 4th year in a row?

Agree with @guorfan
Acceptable let's say. I take it as a game who was just "playable" but far from finished since the 1.0.0.
It's still a beta if you count where the "real version" was out, they can improve the game a lot. So even if it's good, i feel they didn't finished many stuffs and needs to includes a lot of things, and balance them.

But about building modes and sold it they're by far too slow, ML i understand as it's complicated and they lost 6 months thanks to Kimura pressure for 0.9.0 joke, but gives us at least CUP/League mode. It's not hard to build, and can bring them some money, and regular money (not like microtransaction).

I'm ready to pay for it whenever, there's nothing bad it's completely normal to pay for it... But not before an Edit mode (as it will be my most "played" mode lol)
Let's remember than anyone here except perhaps one or two people have put a single penny for it. Well i wouldn't paid for a beta neither so, there's to me a lot of to improve, but also a lot of potential (just seeing the diff with the 0.9.1)

ML is under development just because users give to them a big shitstorm last year.

This "game" guys was born just for "online mode" cause they were thinking that just few people around the world play the ML.(so no money for them)

I never ever seen a worst company like Konami in fact of communication, lies and joking their fans in this way.

The issues for me at least is that i prefers or should i say it gives me the same satisfaction by playing League or Versus (like the exhibition with statistics), Cup mode aswell ML. I like to switch teams, recreate "stories" in my head lol etc.

And it's not planned. Well, when you see Capcom and SFV at 69.99 and history mode / Players history one year (and half) later, roster ultra restricted... That game is a F2P that you need to buy it for. Paradoxal, even if the gameplay was at least finished, with some small fix.

Sometimes about Konami, i'm asking myself if the guys in charge of communication around the world talking all language do their jobs.
Looks like they discover only right now the success of ML... Or the boss/executive it seems.

Seems like he wasn't there until 2020, and just discovered all was around PES, don't have a single idea about things like Edit and teams creations, etc., facebuilds/teams sharing everywhere, on youtube, on every dedicated website...
Just read his itw posted by @H_G and you'll see that except for game building and ideas, he's completely lost when we ask him or talk about modes.
Sad, really.

Yes, but from the ITW they made a step back and don't know how the Mobile version will be, but they will need to remove stuffs for that version.

So the ball physics should normally gets improved as he said that PC and PS5 / Serie X are now the main common denominator from Kimura.
There's some small optimism stuffs on that itw. For a change. Cross-Plateform will be first PC vs Console, so... Let's forget a bit about the Nokia joke (it's impossible to reproduce the rest of the game on a current mobile, we already analysed it at the launch of 1.0.0)

The game is now a live service title, so it should evolve for the better as time goes on (I hope). The lack of content is a joke though, it's not like they have no experience.

Instead of paying $ 60 you will pay $ 140 to all teams and leagues lol , You have to be really stupid to buy such a thing

I don't think it'll be like that. It'll be a fee of $10-15 max to unlock all teams/leagues for trial mode. If it will be a system where you pay for each league individually, there will probably be a bigger uproar than last year. That could be something that possibly kills eFootball. Although they'd still be those small group of 'people' (if I were being polite) who's spent $100's on the game already so would have little choice but to keep playing or they'd have just wasted their money

Match Making not available: no further news..
Shopping works, though: I didn't doubt about that
Konami is really dumb, again and again
It deals with its users out of respect

Its seems celtic park and new stadiums will be only avaliable on online modes, what do you want more konami? Maybe you should shutdown offline exhibition match and do not promise for future ML and cups + leagues, shame
