eFootball (All Platforms)

Ah now suddenly dribbling is positive. A minute ago reactions were slow and players overweight like a mobile game.

My guess is: if you wouldn't know that they also are working on a mobile version you wouldn't say some of the things you were saying. You basically try to attack everything (even the good parts) by saying: "it's a mobile game" while you now actually admit that what you ae saying is not true.

There is a lot to critisize in the game but maybe try to come up with your own real arguments instead of: it's a mobile game.
Dude dribbling is ok but still slow reactions and slow movements

I am not hater I just post my thoughts and feelings about it nothing else and is the worst football game konami ever released with pes 14

Ok if you see thing like that, so don't ever wait for a future "perhaps good" version. Just quit that game.
Like i did with FIFA 22, except that it was a full game. I retry sometimes with new patch, but there was only 2 on 8 who were acceptable, then they came back to super speed.

Remember that EF2022 is still in a state of "beta playable". And PES 2014 except input lag got a great, perhaps the better, basis for simulation. But too buggy, and no one to learn them how to master the Fox engine mixed with another one : as Kojima left.

What they did after with PES 2015 killed it, even if PES 2015 is an okay game.

How about answering a question then. You said it feels like a Mobile Game. Which mobile football games does the AI, dribbling and movement feel like. Because I played mobile football games and they are nothing like this.

I like Vialli for example see a lot of positive in Dribbling and AI and a good base. They need to improve a lot of other stuff though.

Food for thought: maybe you wouldn't come of as a how you phrase it:"hater" if all your arguments wouldn't always be: "it's like a mobile game".

Especially since you have been already proven wrong and it has shown that your arguments don't have much ground.

Try to come up with a real argument. Again I think you knowing that they develop for mobile makes you automatically write: "it's mobile" without even thinking if it really is mobile or not

You are right, not only mobile, fortnite too :LMAO:mobile graphics + fortnite grapahics = €shameball

Well back to something else.
I've read from some people that "thanks, they've made a bigger pitch". But the bigger the pitch is, the harder you can program the battle in the midfield.
PS2 era got a smaller pitch and there was battle in the midfield. PES 2017 got it too, and PES 2018 has lost it : the engine was revamped (but still in construction) and they didn't found a way for midfield battle.

Yes, it's more realistic, but does it really fits for football games? Also one good point on Efootball is the defense system, it seems like there's a way to got a good big pitch and a midfield battle with that system, and some calibrations. For the moment contacts are too basic and bad.

But a lost ball going everywhere with a better Ball physics less predicatable like on PS2 (as i replay it : those game got the less predictable Ball physics i saw from all Football games with some Fifa from their golden era) on the midfield to be recuperated isn't impossible.

There could be a cheat out there which allows you to foul people without getting penalized?!
I don't get it. You're too quickly penalised by a foul? I suppose you already tried, but personnally i toned down the pressing when i get closer to the ball owner and made a tackle at the good time.
Too much pressing could be punitive, kinda like on PS2, without Standing tackle/Shoulder pushing.

Well i think trying to defend on EA last football game helped me a bit for defending cautiously lol. As sliding tackle is harder to do without having a foul.

You just need to watch a pes mobile 21 gameplay and a gameplay from efootball. I wont comment anything else
So you haven't played a mobile football game. Thank you for answering. Having played mobile football games I know that what you are saying about movement and so on is BS.

Seeing how you backtracked your opinions before after being called out regarding dribbling again my advice would be: try another argument than: it's a mobile game.

I said before i tried that game but well... Think what you want. Yes, you will see players on a green pitch with a ball. Of course it's lookalike.

Well not against you but you're bashing the game without real argument or funny stuff. like some have said here. I prefers to stop talking about the game in that way.

EDIT
Its sad mate, you seems sympathetic, but i'm done with that childish talk.
You're taking this a bit too much from the heart, where there's "passion" (could be relate to hate or love) doesn't fit with i would say "objectivity" (even if doesn't exist>), so let's say looking at the game with a scientific approach in comparison to others games and reality.

Man, i'm defending a game i don't even play anymore and see it as a beta, just playable as they worked like crazy (well not BIG) after being called by the Konami's chief headquarter. Like Klash said, devs seems to have won a part, but not all like the presentation and the F2P system. F2P presentation looks like mobile, for that i totally agree...

Better to stop here. But i understand your hate, don't worry, just that arguing when you're in that state doesn't serve to nothing.

It would be totally fine if he would use real arguments. But: it's a mobile game and watch a video sadly are not real arguments.

Having played Pes Mobile you never have that freedom in dribbling or that feeling of movement. Same for the AI

Dude players are overweight and really slow in movements, reactions etc and the ball is overweight too, is just like a mobile game
Well, when I play test, I compare the movements to the ones I know from the pitch myself. It’s not too far off in efootball. Long Rangers are much longer in travel mode, inertia overall I welcome. Thing is, I think, the movement is hampered by the animations and button inputs.
And how I miss to select the pass receiver after i loaded up a pass. That would help the game massively, imo. Plus getting that player-ball-lock on thing fixed!!!

I edited lol, as it was the last post from the thread.

No the opponent did not get penalized fouling me.

Another topic, why would you quit if i score in the 5th minute? Anyway thanks for the win, made me remain in the division.

That's the kind of argument i prefers to read as it's based on observation, and we can debate around. It's argumented and deserve a like even if i didn't noticed what you said, need to play again (except the lock : it's an obvious missing stuffs like the Wing Back just playing for Attack)

Ah, i had some fouls but yes, it's more rare from the CPU than when you do the exact thing yourself... No idea, probably a referee who get some money under the table (that level of realism, that game is unbelivable)

About the 5 minutes quit, that's sometimes frustration about the quitting. Perhaps he just lost 7-0 lol. It happen very often on season on Fifa, as i played a lot (if not always) on that mode from 08 to the 17 (i don't coun't 18 and 19 for the time i played)
I don't talk about Fifa but football games online. It's the same shit so....

I personally can't stand the input delay when moving with the ball, especially when I'm not sprinting. It simply feels unresponsive to me, even if its realistic. It would be nice if there were options to choose between delayed movements and responsive movements [responsive like pes13 or 06], even if the option was only available for offline modes.

As it is, keeping the topic alive, I am forced to think ahead (wich is good) but I have to input my commands ahead as well, wich isn’t! So it could become tiki taka first time passes a lot… you could think (and partly it’s true). But I can take it slow now (step on the ball!! use the L stick just subtle) and then there are more options for me. doesn’t mean it makes up for the stuff I mentioned need fixing, but it shows the direction the game wants to go and I appreciate that.

Is there even a point playing with a GK against the likes of Eto'o? Regardless of distance, angle, and balance, every stunning shot seems to hit the back of the net.

Hadn't played since the mtx were enabled, it's like playing a different (worse) game now. Luckily on PS5 I did meet a few people with relatively normal teams like mine.

That's the issue mate.
Everyone said coinami but there's not a single thing to paid, DLC or whatever at the launch lol.
Until there won't be anything to buy like a basic F2P game, it's hard to consider it as some stealer etc.

... But i'm very curious about the price of all those stuffs. I already see people with teams full of superstars, like there's no need to put a penny on DreamTeam. Well packs are forbidden where i leave. Better for the kids around.

DLCs is different. And it's kinda normal to make it paid if the game is free... Even if i hate the process and 1000% would like a full game for 50-60 euros.
I hope we won't said "like the good old time" too soon.
There's still fortunately games that doesn't really fits with F2P.
Elden Ring, and the future Black Myth : Wukong for example.

But i'm really afraid about sports games and fighting games future like i said before.
Esports Boxing Club : there's no date, it's like it's been 4 years i'm waiting for it, and the game seems playable from vids, i don't get it. AO Tennis future, if they release a "3" on Next-Gen perhaps will learn aswell as the first Top Spin wasn't upper great. I don't even know if they intend to continue..

Man, those classics type of sports game seems lost forever + that amount of F2P coming for all versus games, why FFS, why ? :(

Who didn't enjoy a career in Fight Night or Top Spin starting low and going to the top ? Won a UCL in ML or a League, a Cup?
Things that gives the satisfaction of having kinda "finished" the game, without frustration due to cunt online like we said before ?

I wouldn't care that much about the format if online wasn't that much put behind or on the trash. They will for PES it's pretty sure, as it cost nothing to them lol.
But whatever, the game, i repeat, is playable yes, not bad to me (not upper good neither) but still under beta, too much thing missing from tactics to AI to some other stuffs.

Edit: you didn't even got to play to see that 0.9.1 was bad. Just looking at vids and i disliked instantly. Completely different feeling when i saw 1.0.0 vid.
What i saw was pretty good in motion and players didn't looked lost like dummies on the pitch.
Now controller in hands, like i said there a bit too much missing stuffs + the shooting ball physics for me to considers it as a finished game. Playable and finished is different.
Yeah. I'm back on PES 2021 and will release 1 or maybe more tactics .pdf this weekend. Efootball does stuff that has evolved it away from PES 2021 but theres simply not enough to do for me a primarily offline player.

The problem we have is Konami know like too many other companies these days that the biggest money spinner is microtransactions and the most effective mode to make money is online battles. Offline they make one fee when you buy the game and thats it. You get players these days, not just kids who cannot beae to even play offline vs the CPU so our voices are definatley not being heard over this primary online customer base.

What has made this series so strong however over the years has been the offline game. PES 2014-2021 were all pretty lackluster online. Efootball has a few things to do online, all center around paying real money to have the best team. The gameplay becomes fantasy like due to the insane high ratings which takes everything away from the supposed 'realistic' experience Konami label on the game. This twerking for online microtransactions will not be a succesful one unless the game is developed properly for offline play. Right now there isnt any incentive to use weaker players.

I am concerned with sports games in general too. All these companies seem to care about following the FIFA/Fortnite model. Quality takes time, right now while the core game really is special, its a buggy beta, playing on Level 3 passing is a disadvantage against level 1 ping pong players, especially because its either full manual or no manual. I really miss manual L2 modifier so much and i'd like it back. Mapped to R1 even. I miss passong into space like ive been used to for over a decade now.

I'm gonna be honest. I wouldn't ever play a PES game without mods.

Like at least with fifa, majority of the teams are licensed. But PES? Like if the game did not had mods [and I thank everyone who worked hard to make mods for these games throughout the years], I wouldn't even bother playing.
Mods and option files will come. They will come for PC too. Konami know that their game wont survive without them. Just at the top end its too much about microtransaction everlasting income.

This game cannot survive without it in this state.

Sorry to tell you but they really do not care about offline players.

The game is for online, they are trying to compete with FIFA and take people from the internet so they will not buy FIFA and just play eFootball (and spend money inside Efootball) on coins .

This year will not be offline and there will be no Master League.

Maybe next year, but if you ask me in my opinion after next year this title will die.
Maybe it will only remain on the mobile where the money is.

imo, this title will remain as long as customers have coins in there pockets. Maybe they will change the name… but it will stay in some form. sadly it’s like that these days.

Man, I just said. The game cannot survive in this state.

This model is a base for how they will operate as a 24/7 free online service game which you buy players and they make the bulk of their money on all the microtransactions.

They have edit mode already in the game makeup, its a question of when it will come out. From my source It could be end of May at a very optimistic timeline but sometime before August when they plan to get these offline modes ready and out since they will go for a big season update for 22/23 season. People don't want to play with Liverpool R in some generic dark red kit, they want to play with either the current kit or a classic one along with their own creations. Please want to easily play with mates or create leagues via lobbies. People want to actually meet others in real life which used to be a thing from the beginning of time until 2020 and sit on a sofa for a day and play a tournament against eachover. Konami know not matter their profit now from Dream Team Legend player sales this enthusiasm will die without a proper full bodied game which includes offline modes and edit mode to keep people engaged.

I'm already bored of online games on this because it's level 1 passing ping pong play to win is just not enjoyable and annoying since this core is really wonderful and I want offline to open up to explore it. Even when I win online which I do mostly unless I play vs a top esports guy or the odd amazing player I'm bored. this is the good thing regarding these negative reviews from IGN, they are right. its barebones and nothing to do bar win at all costs. This will not last.

As for my theory is Master League will be a 'Football Fusion' like experience using all the same old cutscenes we saw from PES 2020-2021 which you manage your team on mobile like in PES Club Manager but the interface will work with your PS4/PS5 so you can play the games there on console. The efootball mobile version is now going back towards the dev teams idea of it being basically PES 2020 gameplay. All these fancy cutscenes we see for players arriving off the bus is being setup for some experience like this. They wouldn't bother with this crap if the whole game was just online only as nobody watches any of that stuff for online games.

I'm unhappy as a primarily offline player with this situation where we have no exact time reference to when we will see all this stuff finally released but I do see that knowing this company, they seem in a place where the fucked up so badly last year, rather than promise much then dump a half assed Master League effort on us which they could, they have to bring something strong to the table for offline if they plan to get people to buy this offline product.

Why do people thing there is some super offline mode coming. Konmai were open at the beginning that they don't value offline.

Because they literally said they are working on it and will be ready in the future?

to quote them: Lastly, we have received a lot of questions regarding 'Master League', 'Edit', 'Team Play', 'Co-op' and 'Match Lobby' (where you can create a room to play with your friends). They will unfortunately not be included in v1.0.0. We ask for your kind patience until they are ready.

Like if this statement would be a guarantee of something knowing konami :LMAO:
