eFootball (All Platforms)

Watching the new gameplay videos i noticed that:
-Passing is faster, but still somewhat floaty with unnecessary bounces.
-Footplanting and animation smoothness is butchered (the old recipe to improve responsiveness) especially when turning 180 degrees, or change direction
-Physicallity is ok, better than 0.9.1
-Shooting looked very nice tbh. I can't tell if it still has linear trajectory, but it seemed quite realistic

But i couldn't notice all that improvements KONAMI announced.

There is little point in that presentation package (which is just the formation animation, every other cutscene is the same angle from PES 2016 i have played so many matches i know every single cutscene camera angle) without a fully revamped master league too, and looking at the gameplay video, thats all new they got from 0.9.1 to 1.0.0. Master League isn't coming ever again, we have to beg someone else for a proper career mode or play FM.

The graphics look a bit better overall but the shadows still don't make any sense, that's what I noticed at first glance ... the ball has a hard and dense shadow, even when it's high, while the players are like ghosts, super light shadows. Zero logic...

Konami also talks about updates every two months, following a logic of seasons that will bring updates with new content. When asked about other news in the next update, Robbye guaranteed the arrival of Brazilian stadiums, such as Maracana, Morumbi and Neo Química Arena, as well as updates to the transfer market. But it is worth noting: the Brazilian teams tested with the new patch still brought outdated squads, unlike the European teams.

TechTudo took advantage of the conversation with Robbye Ron to ask about Konami's next steps in relation to eFootball. According to the executive, the news of the patch of April 14 are aimed primarily at improvements in gameplay. The sale of DLCs and other game modes are left for another time.

"For now there is nothing announced in that sense (other modes). But in the coming days we will talk about those things. We didn't want to talk about selling more stuff to the community while the players were still not happy with the gameplay."

Yikes, every time the ball is in the air it looks like a meteorite is about to strike the pitch:LMAO:

My impression is that it looks like less of a bug fest but it still does nothing to make me want to even go to the bother of installing it. This is still far from a next-gen football game. The meme kicks seem ridiculous to me, when you compare it to the near useless floaty default crosses why would people not just use that button all the time, why could this not just be baked into the normal power bar?

this statement i agree with but there is also someone flipping the other side of the coin.

With mods, but i don't play on PC. No sign you can change "LIDL soccer" presentation unless you know stuffs we don't.

@Mathgamer with only the two more simple colors : black and white. No need to research special colors.
It looks wayyyy less cheap by far.

do you see a full black shadow in a fully lit stadium at night ? lighting got better thats all it is.

"Finally"
"Broadcast package"
Bit early to say anything, but if it's just these animations (which are long, and people will skip), it's hardly a "package", and it looks nothing like any respectable football production would put out.

I’m still confused as to what there is to actually do in eFootball 2022? Even if the gameplay was the best PES has ever been, what modes do we play? Exhibition games? Or have they added new modes since launch?
