eFootball (All Platforms)

Has anyone seen TTB latest video? I don’t subscribe to him but it appeared in my suggestions last night. “why fifa will never be a sim” or something similar. Whilst maybe true - he behaves as if PES is some deep, tactical Football Manager style game, which is laughable.

Got to think about those PES Universe bucks and keep the hype train rolling…
I've seen it too. He is right about Fifa, but not about Efootball. Efootball is no sim, its only more difficult then Fifa is. Although, i always loose when i am playing Fifa and win with PES..

Fifa does have more options. Carreer mode is much more fun, ambiance in stadium is incomparable.
Efootball is not even a F2P. But a demo. Then you have to pay for ML or others modes. Its an joke!

All of the people here had right about the online test demo, i was'nt. PES is dead.

I'd hope that anyone who is interested in the online mode can say so on here without being made to feel small or ashamed. Everyone's entitled to like what they like and express that opinion without being mocked. Fair enough if you're not interested in the online aspect, but let's be respectful of eachother.
I’d love a good game of football that’s the same online and off. I think most would and online is bashed because it’s seen as the focus of gameplay creation. Where as a good game can be played online no problem. I’m online a lot for co op and love co op if the games good. Which neither had been for a long time.

Fifa 16 was great for a few weeks and then they updated the defenders to ballet dancers and the forwards could just jog around them.

I don't spend on loot boxes or cosmetics. The only DLC I buy in games is extra story or mission content for single-player titles, if it's worth it

The irony is - they could probably earn more money with a bit of effort, coz the like of us would gladly pay for decent DLC packs.
If they had Stadium Packs for example - Italian Stadiums, Spanish Stadiums, Generic Stadiums - id probably get them all.
Elder Scrolls online had good bit of paid content, but there were decent things among them to pick from. I paid and unlocked every single location, just to have them. Coz I like to have complete package.
Cosmetic packs, balls, stadiums, leagues/teams slots, would be especially tempting now when there wont be another version next year, so you wouldnt have to start from scratch.
But they dont want to put any effort. They'd rather have 10 Ronaldos with different haircuts, coz they know kids will want them.

Edit - now that I thought of it - its not really an irony, is it? Its common fucking sense..

Just throwing one of the benefits of the F2P model into the discussion... It does allow people who can't afford traditional releases of video games to have access to the game. I've always been fortunate to have the money to buy each PES when it's been released, but not everyone is that fortunate (although some may say that we're actually unfortunate to have the money to have bought certain versions of PES). There must be plenty of kids who have friends that have games they can't afford to play online with, so this model does make it easier to rectify that.
PES is usually very cheap after just a few months on PS Store anyway.

Sadly they won’t last long with Jim, Bob and Mathew upfront from Bolton playing against Ronaldo, Messi and Maradona.
Fortunately it's not that bad, at least not on PES 21 Lite My Club. I've got Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Messi, Van Dijk, plus about 10 other top level players after only about 10 hours of play and not spending any money on it. I wish it wasn't so easy to get those big name players as I prefer working with a team of players that other people wouldn't usually pick. The game is still too laggy for me online though, but was a good way to play against mates during lockdown.

You reminded me that the 3v3 online coop mode I did enjoy in the past. I think I stopped as there weren't enough players. I ended up stuck with bots on my team against human players on the other. I used to be able to get matched up with random online players on your own team. Is that not possible anymore? Haven't tried in a long time.

They will have stadium packs dont worry. I can see how it will be now, and we have a pricing too, though maybe player packs will be priced at 40, teams/leagues at 50, stadiums at 60 and game modes like ML and edit mode at 70 most likely.

Italian stadiums pack

-San Siro
-Meaza
-Olimpico
-Juventus stadium(releasing July 2022 trust me we won't lose the licence)

(That would be 60 $ sir).

Spanish stadiums pack

-Camp Nou

(That would be 60 $ sir).

English stadiums pack

-Old Trafford
-Emirates

(That would be 60 $ sir).

German stadiums pack

-Alianz Arena

(That would be 60 $ sir).

Generic stadiums pack

-Konami stadium
-eFootball Arena

(That would be 60 $ sir).

You can always give me a shout this year if it’s any good pal .
My mates in England and I’m in Canada though, so it usually on a Friday night at 6pm Eastern Time because of the time difference.
My PSN is Ninety_3_twenty.
I always thought the three player would of been good but me having the UK version made it unresponsive and I wasn’t fond of all the colours around the players etc. I’m sure that can be changed.
Edit. I have a series S also but mainly play on PlayStation.

The free to play argument falls quite short looking at the past. You can build a "great" team without buying coins. That's true, playing Myclub on both 20 & 21's launch, I got many golden balls & a couple of black balls within a couple of hours.

Problem is they all play the same & stats don't even matter. This is why everyone has the same line-ups too. Only the legends they've just released will do anything for you in the game. The way this game takes control away from you should be a crime in video games for mental abuse.

All designed for you to spin once more, in hope that you will get that Van Basten card. The fact that this scripting was going on in both Myclub AND Master League is disgusting. This is 80's arcade type bullshit.

Sounds good! Yeah, will see what's possible with this new game. May have to wait a bit, but would be good to get back on 3v3 online coop again if it's available.

It’s not like people are negative for negative sake and no reason. There’s plenty of red flags that bring light to historical issues. When you start seeing similar patterns in something that brought previous bad results, I think it’s fair to be concerned it’s heading to a similar undesirable outcome.
What I mean is because the game has got very few positives it's difficult not to be negative about it. I'm one of those who isstruggling to find anything positive.

Sorry pal. I misunderstood.

I would like to be positive about it. Be nice to just get a decent game for a year with no adjustments needed and enjoy it without updates breaking it.
Doesn’t have to be perfect. I would take great gameplay over graphics etc.

At least they told us the truth, that they got their lesson from bad-transitions from old-gen to next-gen. When you don't create something next-gen, you can't miss like in the past!! Win-win and genius!! :!:PIG::WOOT:

This game will fail , I'm sure of it .

All their moves are just bad .

Today's kids do not even know what is Sim football ,
They will not switch to playing eFootball just because it is free

The only success that will be in mobile is for sure.

Apparently it's time to admit where they're headed

Pes is Dead Finally .

For those who currently have no desire to download the initial version of the game on 30th September.... Would you end up giving it a try if the old modes like ML do eventually come back (even if there's a reasonable price attached to them)? Or is it literally a case that'll you'll go nowhere near eFootball now no matter what they do with it?

I believe the Master League should arrive between August/November, following the start of the European season. It wouldn't make sense to release it earlier, since the European season would be at the end

Its better to stay with pes 2021.
Its fine game and with mods you can just update it to new season .

It's not on the roadmap which covers the end of this year.

I can only think of 3 reasons to play it:

1) To see how shit it is with my own eyes and record clips to make fun of it.
2) If I could make money off it. Perhaps if I were a PES youtuber with no dignity or shame.
3) Konami pays me $XXX / month to play it. In which case my PMs are open.

Fair enough!

If Konami start paying you though, I hope you give honest feedback!
