The problem isn't a free to play where you have to pay for the other game modes, since we used to pay for the full game. The problem is how much quality will go into those game modes DLC.
The fact they changed the name from PES to eFootball means that they want to get rid of the old game style: PES was great because it was aimed at football fans and the core offer was the offline experience. With eFootball they're going into the opposite direction, offline is no longer the core, now they're 100% focused on the online. So I wonder how much quality will go into those DLC that don't represent the core offer of eFootball

pes mobile youtubers got so much views. I dont know but maybe biggest majority of pes players playin on mobile? Asians and kids, they love mobile gaming. Whole downgrade and crossplay migh be for them and their money.

What's the point of offline modes, in the event that they are sold separately, in a game designed around 1 v 1 online? It's the equivalent of playing Counter Strike against bots and paying for the bots.

Just saying, eh. I don't even know if Kashiwa Reysol are (or will ever be) in the cup. But I also don't think Konami will need offline modes to milk the fans for more money using that licence.

I think you don't care too much or have interest in modern PES games... but @MadbaLL I still wanted to just invite you here and look at that new "eFootball" trailer and what do you think about it? Also @Fabri55 thoughts? I know you both will not like it at all, just wanted to see thoughts, no one likes it here

Well, we all know what D'Agostino has become after quitting football, so I think he'll be remembered for a loooong time anyway, even if no-one talks about his wonders on the pitch anymore.
Can't see the issue of why everyone is moaning, am I the only one that looks forward to new PES or FIFA games regardless of trailers?
It's always different when it's out, I thought the gfx looked pretty sweet, what more can be done, there's players that look like the players, stadiums that look like stadiums, a football that looks like a football ... that's all there is too it, are you expecting battlefield explosions or something?
