EA SPORTS FC 27

Why are those animations in the game and they dont use them? This should be authentic mode:

AJ also released an animation mod and I used it last night. It’s so cool to see more varied animations and in combination with the gp overhaul mod, it makes it all look and play so much better. 🥳

But yeah. More animations to the people!! 💪

Reading @Datiss77 latest comments… I get an idea though….

After playing some more time with the Beta, I'm starting to see some green shoots. One of the problems with my first hands-on was that I played in Authentic mode first, and then with custom sliders and the Authentic features enabled afterwards.
When you have the Authentic features enabled, the game loads the EBX gameplay parameters specific to Authentic mode. These do more harm than good, particularly to player movement. They are responsible for the slow but clunky feeling that remains even if you set all the movement sliders to 50.
However, playing with this feature off and reducing the sprint speed and passing speed does a much better job.
In general, FC27's animations are much more settled than FC26's, and the ball physics are also much better. Despite that, I can't deny that I can't wait to mod a few things here and there, as there are some issues that can't be addressed with sliders. But I have the feeling that, right now, I enjoy vanilla FC27 more than a modded FC26.

Did you try to change new sliders like job dribbling, sprint dribbling or controlled sprint dribbling? Did you notice any difference?

Did u try to use different values, for example jog dibbling 55 or 60? did u notice any improvement when it comes to player movement? I wonder if it could help to reduce unnatural sharp player turns?
to be honest I didn't noticed much difference, maybe other will as it will be subtle, but nothing major.

These issues appear to date back to FC 26. I already noticed last year that the crossing physics feel extremely scripted.
But that's because they are - there's no real ball physics. Everything is calculated by figuring out the best outcome of what the user wants, then manipulating the ball there.

The weight of the ball, gravity etc. is simply overriden all the time. Until that changes, it's not a football game IMO.

Exactly, it's why stopped buying FIFA years ago and why I said that authentic mode will change very little.

Expecting EAFC to play authentically is like you're loading up Fortnite and going OK, let's mod it to play like a military sim. Never gonna happen, completely illogical.

Just accept it and go back to the best ever PES/FIFA and edit that, with the latest players and kits etc, best option right now, then pray someone makes a football sim ASAP.

Since FC 26, it's become strikingly obvious that the trajectory of crosses – including long lobbed balls – is artificially adjusted by the system, resulting in highly unnatural curves. Previously, even though we were aware the trajectories were predetermined, they never looked as forced as they do now in FC 26.

Question to all beta players: Is it still possible to march down the wings without being attacked?

It is pretty gamebreaking in FC26, but some of you reported that CPU aggression is quite better now.

Kind of depends on slider settings. I ramped up my CPU professional foul frequency and I could barely move at all without being brought down. CPU had 3 sent off! Think I need to reduce it slightly lol.

I am more worried about AI than about clunky animation transitions in ea fc 27 beta, there is definitely less free space between defenders and midfielders and sure, you will see more cpu pressing and fouls but.........cpu is having very hard time when it comes to passing and dribbling in final third. Honestly, i do not think that cpu/AI was designed to play on such a small spaces. :CONFUSE:

About my post #552, today the playtester corrected me: "I had the wind on."
I apologize for misleading everyone.

I know that EA sometimes didn't respect ball physics in general but even on competitive gameplay, we didn't see this kind of bad physics on the beta 🤣.
I always disable the wind option, the effect is unreal😅.

After one week of holidays, i played yesterday the game. Again, a new update was out so I lost my career, the file was corrupted.

But I played with Authentic on, a lower value for gamespeed and more error, on Dynamic first half and custom CPU behaviour second half.

Fouls are better on Dynamic, more realistic.
I like the freedom of the ball and I didn't have the ping pong actions I've seen on R9fat videos.

And yes FC 27 is better vanilla that FC 26 with sliders after one year.
I played with a friend to show him the gameplay.
He was surprised to see the defenders following the stikers and really physically try to have the ball. That the first thing he likes vs FC 26.

I hope the game will be like that in September. It's not perfect but it's more than a FC 26.5, the gameplay and physics are better. As usual, FUMA is the better way to appreciate the game.
Shooting, passing and crossing are harder to master.

Edit :the update was for tweaking fouls

I have a question for the testers: In FC 26, the Authentic Mode and the Authentic Preset are separate. Is it the same in FC 27?
